For some reason last night, after I started cultivating, my system updated. Now it seems a lot more organized and it shows some more information about me.

After checking Sebastion in the morning I felt really hungry so I went outside the dorm room to ask a dorm member the way to the cafeteria.

When I got to the cafeteria I saw so many choices for food. They all looked so great. Even my last life's colleges didn't have this many good choices.

I got a Forest Boar Steak topped with what looked like lettuce and a cherry tomato. I asked the lady serving it about them and apparently this world has earth vegetables.

It also turns out that anyone thay studies here on a scholarship doesn't have to pay for anything. I quickly finished eating my food and it tasted delightful.

Narrator Pov

After eating breakfast Alucard went around the school to explore. The school gave a lot of freedom to students on how they want to grow.

He went to the library first and when he entered the first thing he noticed was that when he entered, the sound from outside was instantly cut off. He walked forward to the librarian and asked her for some information.

" Anyone below Spirit Apprentice realm can't go past the first floor. Past the 1st floor are cultivation methods and martial skills. On the first floor are books on beasts, geography, and other things.", the librarian said.

Alucard thanked her and left. As he was walking he noticed a big building in front of him. He walked inside and he instantly fell energetic. He noticed a faint medicinal smell in the air. He walked to the receptionist and asked her, "What building is this?", he noticed her give him an 'are you dumb?' look. "I just arrived here yesterday so don't really know much about the school.", he instantly told here.

She fixed expression into one of realisation and told him some information. "This is the alchemy building. You can come here to buy pills, identify unknown pills, or learn alchemy. Is there anything else you want to know?", she asked. "What are the requirements for learning alchemy?", Alucard asked the receptionist.

"You have to be a bare minimum of 1st stage Spirit apprentice with a fire affinity or wood affinity. You also need a strong instant reaction ability in case something goes wrong and a strong comprehension ability to understand what went wrong. anything else?", she replied.

"No, there is nothing else. I'll come back once I reach spirit apprentice realm. Also my name is Alucard. Bye.", he replied.

At night time, as he was on his bed, Alucard suddenly facepalmed. "I can't believe I didn't upgrade the <Basic Foundation Building Manual> before cultivating it. Sebastion can you upgrade it real quick.", he said to Sebastion.

[ It is possible but I just wanted to inform you that when you upgrade cultivation manuals, the wheel doesn't use numbers, but instead specific upgrades. "That is great let me see it." Alucard said. " Wait, this has a lot more stages, like what is foundation building stage! What is this?" he asked. [Young master, Foundation Building Realm is part of the natural cultivating process, however at some point in time people skipped this stage, because each stage took one year no matter the talent, and it was slowly forgotten about.] Alucard didn't ask anymore questions and started cultivating.

Year 348, 1st day, Month of Light

As the year got closer to the end, Alucard started hearing something about the Yearly Dragon Finals. He had finally made it to the 10th stage of Pagoda Foundation Building Exercise, which to others looked like he was about to break through to the Spirit Apprentice Realm.

As the days passed by Alucard continued the schedule he created since the beginning of the year. He would wake up, get ready, go to the library, and then cultivate. Finally on the last two days of school the exam proctors measured his growth and he was allowed to stay on his scholarship.

That night as he was cultivating he broke through into the Foundation Building Realm First Stage.
