Catalaya's POV

It's been a week since we left the pack, and honestly, it has been the best week of my life. First, I got to learn all about my mom. Dad even gave me a framed picture of her. Then, now I knew where the skin colour comes from. Finally, I recalled the conversation being an emotional one.

Flashback

We had just returned from our old pack. Samael and Merlin took Dominic to his new room where he could rest. Then, the girls made a b-line for the kitchen while dad and I went to Sam's office for a long overdue talk, so we made our way upstairs.

Sitting on the couch beside dad, I said,

/"So what did you want to talk to me about dad?/"

/"I think you know that already Catty./"

Sighed, /"yah I know, its just I was hoping it was something different./"

/"If your not ready to talk about it, you don't have to, your friends already gave me the run down./"
