1 Chapter 1

Lora stumbles into a dark cell as two demons shove at her delicate body. She brushes herself off as they immediately close and lock the cell door. 'Just stay calm, it's not that bad' she thought, trying to reassure herself.

The guards talked loudly as they walked to the exit of the castle's dungeon, "Why does the King want some little Angel?"

"Beats me! Maybe he wants to bang her!" The other cried out giving a horrible raspy laugh, Lora couldn't hear them stop laughing till they walked out the dungeon and it finally faded.

Lora turned bright red when she heard the second demon's remark, 'that's a no!' she thought to herself again.

For the rest of the day no one came, so Lora just sat on the bed and attempted thinking of an escape plan until the next morning.

Lora had beautiful long and wavy hair that flowed down her back, a nice white streak of hair that stood out from the light brown color. She had two shiny gold eyes that matched perfectly with the small golden halo shining just above her head. Even Lora herself was nearly glowing, giving off a golden beam. Lora's wings were as soft as silk and her feathers were neatly in order. She was truly a sight to behold, especially with all the nasty demons crawling around.

When the next day came around and her cell doors opened early in the morning but Lora hadn't slept all night and was waiting patiently. Two guards walked in followed by the King of the castle which Lora had been captured by.

The two guards almost blended in the cell shadows as they were a black in color with two big black horns, and red eyes. They weren't that threatening. But the King was a Reaper, there were many different breeds and species of demons. Reapers for example were known as the "Dragons of Hell", the King showed it clear from his appearance. He was nearly 6'9", he had pitch black hair, bright green snake-like eyes, the pupils could grow to nearly their entire iris or shrink to a small narrow line depending on their emotions. Black Scales that matched his hair were scattered across his body, showing around the edge of his face, shoulders, along the sides of his arms, and legs which are impossible to penetrate. Two small fangs were peaking in front of his lower lip.

Lora looks up at him and the King glared down at her. Poor Lora was only 5'2". But Lora ignores his glare and says kindly to him "hello."

The King said nothing in return.

One guard immediately grabbed her and shoved her to the ground, "bow to your King!" He shouted.

But Lora just stood back up calmly, "he's not my King, though I mean no disrespect." She responded with no smile or frown and no expression of fear or frustration. Lora waited patiently as the King didn't say anything again.

The King waited a little before suddenly punching her in the face. Lora winces in pain but soon stood up straight again with no reaction.

"She'll do fine to train my son." the King said as he observed her as she reacted to the hit. Unlike most he did not care about her beautiful, angelic looks, he had seen too many angels to start and be trapped in awe.

One of the guards whispered as quiet as they could to the other, Lora couldn't quite hear it but the King's ears could very easily hear the talk. "Son? I thought he had two, did he already kill Prince Malcoy?"

Before the demon could even finish saying the name, Malcoy, he found himself on the ground and the King towering over him. The King's fists were clenched as he spat at the guard "that 'THING' is not my son! If you want, us two are having some punishment time. You're welcome to come see how much I just 'LOVE' him!"

The Guard scrambled back up to his place "N-no Your Majesty! S-sorry Sir!"

Lora didn't take notice and was too shocked and focused on the earlier statement from the King "you want me to...train...your son?"

The King turns back to Lora "Of course. You will be perfect practice for when we wipe out all of your people."

Lora sighs in disappointment, "of course, you demons with your talk of rebellion and war..."

The King of the North growls like a true beast, his pupils narrow a little. "Got a problem."

Lora looks up at him, she kept a calm look on her innocent face. "You seem to not know what i'm talking about, forgive me if i'm wrong, but you show carelessness. You think you inspire fear but you only inspire thoughts of rebellion." Lora glances up at the guard the King lashed out at, her golden eyes shimmer and say calmly "he surely thinks of it."

The King immediately glared at the guard, pissed when he saw the guard's pure shock from Lora's remark. "No no!! Your highness!! Sh-she's lying!!!" the guard pleaded and he shook his head frantically, the guard sweated in fear when Lora opened her mouth to speak again.

Lora turned back to the King "Angels aren't allowed to lie."

The King snarled in anger, he hated being betrayed and even a tiny little angel could tell he was just by looking at him. He grabbed a whip that was attached to his side, it had a sleek, sharp blade at the end. Before anyone could blink the guard found himself feeling a burning pain across his chest. The guard looked down at himself slowly, black blood was pouring from the deep wound across his chest.

Lora wasn't surprised by this action but she certainly was disturbed as a scream came from the demon guard and he fell to the ground dead. Blood crawled and started spreading in the corner of that cell.

The King thinks to himself 'Pathetic breed.' He turned back to Lora and hissed "anything else." He was done with her horrible remarks and all he wanted to do was scare her, make her cower. That always made him feel powerful. But she didn't seem the least bit scared of him.

Lora nodded silently and the King's pupils narrowed more and it only made him more angry with what she said plainly next.

"I don't believe I want to tell you though."
