Chapter 4.

- 7 Days -

A week has passed since I arrived in this wonderful world.

At the end of the first day, when dusk began to take over the blue sky, and stars that looked like sparkling diamonds appeared in the sky, it was then that Mommy Dragon appeared.

She was very angry when she discovered that her chicks had been devoured by an unknown ''someone''.

And with an oppressive roar that left the air shaking, she left the mountain, not before burning the whole mountain down.

I could only hide at a safe distance as I watched the 15-meter mother dragon fly away.

Day Two: I took plenty of time to explore the whole forest.

To the north there are Ice Ridges.

To the west is a Swamp.

Day Three: I massacred the Goblin Village that was in that Goblin's memory.

With this village destroyed, I reached level 10 and got a new racial ability.

Hemokinesis

The ability to manipulate blood from myself, other beings or the environment around me.

And to conclude the third day, I was the size of a large dog, 87 cm tall.

On the fourth day, things started to get very interesting.

First, I was looking for a new home, and I noticed that my growth was accelerating, so I would soon be bigger than a horse - it was only a matter of time.

I fought an Owl Bear.

It was quite an impressive battle, with me being hit at the speed of a bullet, and I was also very cruel with my actions when fighting.

Always with plenty of traces of cruelty.

Always making my enemy suffer a lot before dying.

With a sadistic smile and always looking down on my enemy.

Honestly, our fight was a lot of fun, it felt like my blood was boiling with excitement while my heart was pounding with joy.

Day Five: I started training to fly freely in the skies.

Triumphantly, the skies were conquered and I was now covering a lot of ground thanks to the ability to fly freely through the skies.

I found another two Goblin villages and an Orc village located in the south.

Day Six: It was pretty boring, I just slept all day.

It was finally the seventh day: I was as big as a full-grown horse at 3 meters and 60 centimeters, and even my tail was 5 meters long.

To keep up with all this excessive growth, I had to eat a lot.

At the very moment.

I was lying on a large rock, enjoying the warmth of the sun bathing my scales, and because of my imposing figure nothing dared approach me.

By the way: A few small animals such as squirrels, rabbits, and birds approached me while the birds used me as a perch.

My draconic body is majestic.

A body, immense and slender, comparable to that of an adult horse, 3.60 meters and 5 meters long, Two crimson-red eyes stood out for their intense presence that conveyed a mixture of disdain and laziness.

Each limb, thin and sharp, was covered in black and red scales, giving the impression of being made of a unique metal.

Crimson-red claws, apparently made of this metallic material, gave the dragon a formidable appearance.

In addition, a pair of additional limbs, located above the shoulders of the forelimbs, revealed themselves as wings that gradually expanded.

These wings unfolded, revealing intense red membranes with two very sharp claws at each end.

The elongated head, culminating in two sharp horns, supported a neck covered in black and crimson-red scales.

While sunbathing, the dragon wore a serene expression, but its eyes revealed a palpable intensity.

With each beat of its wings, the metal produced a distinctive sound, echoing across the landscape.

Its long, sinuous tail stretched along its body, adding a wild elegance to its majestic form.

I got up from the large stone I was using to warm myself in the sun while stretching like a cat.

The little ones quickly ran away.

I looked at the sun, I mean, I looked at a flock of Griffon Vultures flying in the distance.

They're my next prey.

A flock of Griffins with levels ranging from 10 to 15, and with the Alpha Male at level 20.

He was twice my size, even though I was bigger than a standard griffin.

However.

That didn't matter for now.

It was finally time for me to distribute all those untouchable extra points.

Due to a massacre I carried out on a Goblin Village, I gained a lot of stats in [Strength] and [Stamina] by devouring their souls.

My [Agility] has increased a lot, becoming my third highest [Stats].

[Mana] on the other hand, to be honest.

I don't know what to do with this attribute.

Because of my characteristics inherited from a Vampire and Dragon, I'm very sensitive to [Mana].

But!

I haven't tried to do anything with it so far. Because my main skills use very little or almost no [Mana].

''Ah, whatever~''

I muttered disinterestedly, starting to allocate my points.

My crimson-red claw touched the [+] and I stopped when I felt satisfied.

''Grr.'' I growled.

Feeling the pain run through my body as my paw/hand went to my head as if I had been hit by all the blunt weapons in the world.

However, in the next moment, a wave of energy enveloped me.

''I feel like I could crush anyone...''

I looked at the Holographic Window in front of me, adding up all my [stats], totaling 425 points.

''That should be enough...''

I have some plans in mind.

A few kilometers south of here there was an Orc Village.

There were at least a hundred of them.

Several Orc Warriors and an Orc Warlock.

I'm no fool to fight such a large number of Orcs without being confident in my abilities.

But now... ?

It's going to be a slaughter!

I can even hear the Orcs wailing.

It's going to be orgasmic!

Watching the sky again, my piercing red eyes ignored the weak Griffins, focusing only on the Alpha Griffon.

''...I'd like to have an [Appraisal] skill.''

I sighed deeply and shook my head.

I can't be too greedy.

The wind blew a fresh breath.

I stopped my greed for a moment, surrendering to the sensation of the wind. A lot of information was contained in a single wind.

''It's going to rain soon.''

The wind carried with it a humidity that was about to collapse at any moment.

What's more, it seemed that the incoming rain wouldn't stop any time soon.

''It makes no difference~'

I spoke indifferently, my gaze remaining fixed on the griffins flying by.

''Ten minutes will be more than enough...''

I climbed down from my favorite, warm rock and, looking around, quickly found what I was looking for: a rock.

It was about the size of a human head.

I decided to test my newly acquired strength and aim at one of the Griffons in the distance.

They were at least 800 meters away.

I stood up on my hind legs, already used to this stance, and concentrated all my strength in my hand, making my scales swell.

The stone shot towards the griffins, reaching the speed of sound and resounding in a crash.

Then I could see a cloud of blood falling like raindrops.

A system notification echoed in my mind.

[You Defeated 1x Griffin.]

[You have gained +1000 Exp.]

''Great~'' I managed to draw their attention to me.''

Meanwhile.

The Alpha Male Griffin seemed indifferent to the death of his mate and casually continued to fly, while that flock of Griffins flew towards me.

I began to fly freely, and due to my recent increase in [Stats], I noticed that I had no difficulty taking off.

With the wind caressing my face and scales, I faced the griffins with terrifying serenity.

Suspended in the air, I stared at the Griffins intensely, while emanating absolute confidence, devoid of any trace of emotion.

However, my indifference didn't affect the Griffins, who were consumed with fury at witnessing the death of their companion.

The Griffins, winged creatures with the head of a hawk and the body of a lion, surrounded me in two groups.

One of them advanced, its wings pushing against the wind, while the other remained at a distance, watching.

The fight was on!

I just silently watched the onslaught against me.

Its powerful claws sought to slice me apart in a single blow.

However, as it hit me with its scent, the griffin's claws shattered, deflecting off my impenetrable scales!

Without moving, I looked coldly at the griffin who now realized his mistake.

I almost started laughing sadistically at his face.

Voraciously, my jaw opened like a snake's mouth, digging into the winged creature's shoulder.

In one swift, cruel movement, I tore off both of the griffin's wings, ripping them brutally from its limbs.

The Beast was helpless for a brief moment before being released.

From there, his fate was sealed.

It would fall unbridled to the ground, a former Ruler of the Heavens reduced to nothing more than a stain on the ground.

Crash!

The impact resounded with a deafening thud as the Griffin, now a paste of blood, prostrated itself before me.

Seeing those wild creatures bowing down gave me a sense of accomplishment.

[You Defeated Griffin Lv.13]

[You received +1300 Exp!]

[Level Up!]

The sweet melody of a notification echoed in my ears, indicating that I had leveled up quickly, but my focus was entirely on the succulent meat in my mouth.

With palpable voracity, I devoured the griffin's flesh, provoking a mocking comment.

''Rubbery, but impressive. You really do have a peculiar flavor.''

My eyes, now tinged with a menacing red glow, showed an insatiable hunger.

The winged beasts displayed looks of sheer horror at the astonishing scene.

''Yes, this is the sight. I love it.''

They chose the wrong prey and turned their heads towards the leader of the pack, but I wouldn't let this opportunity pass me by.

Cutting through the air, feeling the pressure of the wind on my body, I shot out like an arrow and grabbed the throat of the nearest griffin, displaying tremendous strength as I crushed its cervical vertebrae.

[You Defeated Griffin Lv.15]

[You received +1500 Exp!]

I feasted on griffin meat and looked at the other beasts with an indifferent gaze, while they looked at me with horror.

Fear!

Anguish!

Regret!

Horror!

I could feel these feelings just by watching them.

An urge to laugh sadistically pulsed through me, but I held back.

I didn't want to frighten those wild Beasts.

I suddenly stopped, wanting to test something.

The blood began to accumulate in bubbles that revolved around their own axis.

[Hemokinesis]

[Level D+] [Experience: 10.00%]

Skill Effect: You have the ability to manipulate and shape Blood.

There wasn't much information, but the capacity of this skill was simple.

Silence.

The Silencer was heavy, and the air seemed palpable because of the amount of killing intent emanating from me.

The blood bubble was finally full, and only then did I release the griffin.

''Kaaiy!!!''

A high-pitched scream echoed in the sky and the griffins began to advance frantically.

The first Griffin approached me, but the blood bubble expanded rapidly, and like a snake's mouth it swallowed the Griffin.

I made a squeezing motion with my hand, and the sensation of something soft ran through my white.

Just then: Several solidified blood thorns of varying sizes pierced the griffin's body, decreeing its death.

[You Defeated Griffin Lv. 14.]

[You received +1400 Exp!]

[Level Up!]

The blood bubble quickly returned to me, bringing more blood with it.

Three Griffins tried to seize the opportunity but to no avail...

Like a half-moon, the blood metamorphosed and then split them in half. Killing them instantly.

[You Defeated 3x Griffins!]

[You received +4400 Exp!]

[Level Up!]

[Level Up!]

Because the Gryphons' corpses were out of reach, my [Glutton] skill didn't activate.

The battle continued!

The Gryphons were dying quickly, while I improved my ability to control blood.

[The experience of the skill 'Hemokinesis' reached 100%.]

[Skill 'Hemokinesis' (D+ → C) Increased!]

''Hehe~'' I laughed.

While I was busy facing some Gryphons and evaluating my skill... A gigantic shadow loomed over me.

I was quick enough to defend myself and counterattack at the same time.

A griffin's paw was in my hand as blood gushed from the wound.

While the aggressor let out a muffled wail.

It was the alpha male.

I kind of expected that.

I was running out of numbers very quickly.

I glared at the griffin in front of me with disdain and a mischievous smile formed on my lips.

I crushed its paw, then threw it away as if it were insignificant.

''Kiee~''

The male griffin's high-pitched, enraged cry echoed.

I didn't care about his feelings and just sneered at him even more.

By the way, the Griffins were just standing there, not daring to move or breathe.

I brought out the Ball of Blood and, following my wishes, it began to separate into smaller versions and finally solidified.

My smile grew.

Moving my hand, I don't know how many blood balls I made, but there were dozens.

I aimed them all at the Alpha Griffin.

Woosh!

Woosh!

Woosh!

The slashing sound of the bloodballs cutting through the air was like music to my ears.

Quickly, the Griffin reacted and began to dodge. For his size, he was quite agile.

But it was still too much for him to dodge.

And since I wasn't trying to kill him, at least not yet.

The balls of blood hit his wings, making many coin-sized holes.

The Griffin's ability to fly was completely ruined. It began to lose altitude rapidly, plunging uncontrollably towards the ground.

The furious roar of the wind stopped and all that could be heard was the muffled sound and wails of the severely injured Griffin.

Almost at death's door.

He wasn't killed, as I didn't receive any notification from the system.

''Good~ That's where you should be... just below me.''

I loved that feeling of pleasure coursing through my body.

Griffin's pompous face when he looked at me was irritating.

So I taught him a lesson.

Now.

I turned to the rest of the griffins.

...They started running away in a hurry.

''...? Even some Wolves had more camaraderie than you.''

I gathered the remaining blood into a spear and then fired it.

I had a bigger goal in mind.

Woosh!

The blood spear fired, and just as it was about to hit a griffin in the head.

It collapsed into a liquid state as it stained the griffin's head.

It was a new trick I had created.

My plan was complete.

I went to the ground, there was a crater where Alpha Griffin had fallen, and, beyond the crater, he had left a trail of blood.

I quickly followed the trail and found him hiding.

The moment it noticed me, it let out a high-pitched, terrified scream.

I grabbed him by the tail before he could get away and pulled him like a doll.

I crushed his head with my foot mercilessly, turning his head into a bloody paste.

The next moment countless system announcements were declared filling my vision.

[You Defeated, Drag, The Ruler of the Heavens!]

[You've received +100,000 Exp!]

[Level Up!]

[Level Up!]

[Level Up!]

[Level Up...

[Level Up...

[Level Up...

''Holy...!'' I exclaimed in surprise, the amount of Exp was absurd.

[Activating Skill ''Glutton (D)''].

[Would you like to absorb the Soul of Drag?]

[Yes / No]
