Come, my queen, we will talk about this later in the throne room as I have to get changed, excuse me your Highness " by the time he finished, he vanished into thin air and left me alone to think..

"Why is life so hard, " I thought as I walked over to a bench, sitting there, I wondered if I could ever find harmony. The rush of wind bringing a smile to my face.

The day my mom died, I gave up on life actually. I am 20 years old and still have no mate, which is quite unusual as most of them find mates when their 18.

I'm not desperate to have a mate but sometimes I wonder how would it be. It's always me and crystal.

Crystal is 6 foot tall, quite massive compared to most of the female wolves. The mixture of teal and grey makes my wolf quite rare with her deadly white eyes.

My realm is the largest among 5 containing around 10,000 people, making it divided into 5 packs, each having their own leaders, And me as the queen of all. Having the biggest domain makes me the most respected leader.

I don't actually know if it's respect or fear anymore. The way they look at me makes me filled with regret. It's just - I want to smile and I wish to be loved rather than to be feared. Yet, It's hard when your nightmares never stop, thinking you're the reason for your mother's death.

Every day, I wonder what it's like to be cherished by someone, but, fate hates me for reasons I'm unaware of.

Before I could even let my mind wander, Crystal, sensed something as I felt her raising her snout "what is it crys" I asked

"I don't know but somethings wrong"

"Jonah" I spoke through our mind link, to which he replied someone crossed the boundaries.

"And how, may I ask," I asked as I felt anger coursing through my veins.

"Why does this happen even when the guards are patrolling the area," I asked as I got up and started to where Jonah was.

"well the problem might be because they somehow cover up their- Umm why are you here," Jonah said or rather asked I think.

"Jonah," I asked as he got distracted.

"There's someone here to see you, your majesty" And then he cut off his mind link which makes me aggravated.

Nobody is allowed to cut off their mind links to someone of higher rank especially a Queen.

I guess I have to go there now why don't you let me rest just for a bit moon goddess I pleaded to the moon shimmering above me making me think that it's the only glimmer of hope in my life..

"So you're telling me that this insolent fool crossed the boundaries without notifying anyone because he wanted to see me and it was urgent and, please, wear some clothes"

"Oh come on, I know you would love to ravish me. My queen " he said while wiggling his eyebrows.

"Nick, if you're here to tell me on how to ravish you, then I say you might prefer my dungeons more"He was gonna say something to it but by the look on my face, I guess he knew I was being serious.

"Fiiiineee, I came here to maybe steal jonah for a minute" he gave a suggestive wink to my dear Jonah who had a disgusting look on his face.

"can u just stop playing and tell the reason why ur here Nick"

"You guys are no fun" he mumbled under his breath and said "the royal council wishes for your presence at the ball"

"Why do you waste your breath by coming here just to say that?" jonah asked "and no, we are not coming"

"B-but u have to, this time all the realms are participating and it's not the same sappy ball, there's gonna be a meeting between the realms against the attacks," Nick said or more like pleaded..

"I'm going back, and please do NOT disturb me" I glared at Nick to see him having a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"You know, I think you're not coming because you will be seeing the Night brothers, I know they are the hottest bachelors but for you to-"

"Enough nick,  why do u bother me so much, I never come for these balls" I gazed at something in his hand and said "this is not about the ball is it"

Nick slowly shrugged his shoulders and said "it's the selection of the night brothers, and the king and queen wishes for you to be there and maybefindamate" even tho he rambled the last part I understood what he said.

I always had a soft spot for the king of Welder, the former queen was my moms best friend, she died a few years after my mom's death, the new queen was well "how do u put it crystal"

"A crazed bitch" crystal fumed as she thought of diamond.

Yup, her name is diamond but she's more of an ugly little bish. She hated me for well, hmmm, even I don't know what she hates me for...

"Do we really have to go, that fugly bish is gonna be there " crystal said whereas I chuckled..

"The king you say" I asked Nick to which he was bobbing his head like a monkey.

"Fine, I'll think bout it"

"Wait, does that mean you will come??" he jumped.

"If you see me there, then that means I came if not....." I left my line there knowing that he understood what I meant. Jonah raised an eyebrow at me to which I just shrugged..

"Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna have some me time and Nick, make yourself at home but DO NOT damage any things or you're paying. Now, bye my lovelies,

If I see you at the ball, then I'll see you" I said as I walked back to my home.
