9 Training - test

After Mikasa trained she cultivated for thirty minutes. "This is your test, you must kill ten demon beasts and obtain ten demon cores, this will heavily tribute to your cultivation by increasing its speed by two folds. However, ten of them are needed for your level, if you absorb more than you can handle the answer is death, only the strong survive, after I purify the demon cores you will absorb them at tonight, which may take ten to twelve hours, so the quicker you kill the more time you will have to become more powerful, now go!"

Mikasa ran off into the distance with Erza looking out for her at a distance, although Mikasa's speed was not much, the girl still had years to improve, but with Erza's help, she could reduce it to only a mere few weeks.

Mikasa decided to slow down since she didn't want to waste her stamina, after all, Erza told her that she should defeat her opponent quickly and not waste time playing with it, however, if the opponent is strong she must test its power for a few minutes then finish it off.

The forest was silent and eerie, the only sound was the wind scraping against the trees. Suddenly, a wolf type beast jumped a few centimetres away from Mikasa, it was a level two demon beast. Mikasa was startled but immediately fixed herself. She remembered that Erza told her "You must be both mentally and physically stable inorder to defeat your opponent', with her words in mind Mikasa launched for the attack clenching her fist...the beast was down with only one hit. Mikasa was surprised at how powerful she was and smiled to herself. If she was already this powerful in one day, she wondered how powerful she would be by the end of the week. She was blessed by heaven to have encountered the princess who was now her master.

From a distance, Erza was watching her smirking to herself and was thinking of tomorrows training.

Suddenly a pack of wolves came rushing in and Mikasa jumped into the sky, at first she was surprised by how high she could jump but took advantage of it by diving into the centre of the pack and crashed into the ground creating an explosion. The pack was knocked out at once. Erza was surprised to know how intelligent her student was and knew she was going to have to educate her ignorer for her to become smarter and tactical.

Erza jumped off of the tree she was laying on and appeared next to Mikasa in a flash startling her. "Wow, you got over thirty demon cores, we are going to save them for when you reach level four, then you will be able to take in another ten demon cores," Erza stated.

The walked back to the inn together and Mikasa was relieved that she was finally able to rest but then she remembered that she had to absorb the demon cores for the whole night.
