12 Black market assassin

After leaving Mikasa in an empty grassy plane to train, Luka and Eveline arrived at the underground black market hidden in the catacombs. They bought as many supplies as they could and new long-lasting weapons as their old ones were worn out. Luka bought a huge black sword, that was as big as him, it had black cloth wrapped around it since no ordinary sheath could fit it.

Eveline bought a long spear that suited her preference and strength, in addition to that, she bought a bunch of daggers she hid all over her body. Her daggers were coated with a deadly poison that could kill someone less than half an hour if not treated. She also bought some bombs that were filled with poison and suffocated anyone who breathed it in. After they left the market they went to the bakery and bought a small sack of bread, suddenly, a feeling of something tugging on their heart appeared, it means Erza was in trouble.

As they turned the corner into an empty alleyway hoping to jump on the roof and scout the area, flaming arrows suddenly aimed for Luka's back, fortunately, he was able to dodge them.

Straight away, his animal instincts kicked in and he lunged towards his assassin behind the large bin. Eveline followed behind him making sure that the assassin had no accomplices. The masked man jumped up on the roof as if trying to lure the two into a trap and so did Eveline and Luka. Luka's heart was being pulled again and so was Eveline's, it got more and more painful by every pull. When the assassin stopped, Luka realised where he was, he was on the same field Mikasa was training on, but she doesn't seem to be nearby. He also realised that Eveline was missing and thought she went to help his queen.

"Come out my brothers, let us shred them to pieces," the assassin said.

Suddenly, Eveline appeared behind the man and clicked her tongue and said, "Sorry, but I think they may have had an accident." The man's face paled as realisation hit him and his eyes widened in fear. He was the weakest among the group of assassins to exterminate any threats.

Eveline took out her dagger and in less than a second, it was deeply plunged into his heart.

The man coughed out blood and used his last breaths to say, "Even if you do kill me, your little princess will also be killed, in fact, her grave must have already been built at Tigra's mansion." Satisfied by the thought, the dead man fell onto the ground as Eveline pulled out her dagger. Luka was enraged and separated the dead man's head from his body and threw it into a deep river nearby. Erza! They sprinted towards Lord Tigra's mansion and prayed to all the gods that their queen was unharmed. As they were drawing near, Luka pulled out his sword from his back and Eveline summoned her spear with her summoning magic.
