The King's New Successor is a book about a king who had no child. And according to their custom and tradition, a king must marry another woman when his wife could not bear a child. He king married another woman thinking she can bear him a son but instead his second wife bore him a daughter. Then the Dependable God took mercy on the first queen and she bore a son. But the second queen out of jealousy and hatred stole the prince and dumped him in an evil forest with the intention of getting rid of him for good. But the prince survived and came back to his people and took his rightful place as the king when his father passed on. The book tells a lot about moral values;open-mindedness,patience, confidence, kindness and above all love.

Right after World War I, he created a series of “pictorial narratives” without words — you may have spotted his most famous, Passionate Journey (1919), in the gift shop at your local art museum.
