Chapter 23: Meifeng

As Cuifen was slowly drowning in her thoughts.

Akihiro enunciated cheerily, "Meifeng why don't you join us? Sit here and have a chit-chat with us?!"

Akihiro was so warm and welcoming in his nature that Meifeng was liking it. Just as she wanted to join them he called her.

Happy by it, she smiled and turned to glance at Shuzo.

She then spoke up in willingness, "Should I?!"

There was something about her that makes it seems as if she is interested in Shuzo.

As her eyes were directing on him, Shuzo composedly hold the glass of wine and take a sip of it. His gesture gives off the do not cross my space vibes.

He is not interested in seeing her at all. He was simply in his own space doing his thing.

His face warns that he isn't interested in the silly talks and even love affairs.

Noticing that Shuzo was sitting there aloof, Akihiro conceded smilingly, "Yes..yes... have a seat here. I am sure you guys have a lot to talk about?!"

Meifeng smiled bitchily at it, she then make herself seated opposite of Shuzo.

She was enjoying herself as she seat beside him.

Roulan's woman instinct sensed the conduct of this Meifeng and deduced that they should give the kids some privacy, therefore, she turned to her fiance, Akihiro and enunciated in thoughtfulness, "Akihiro, let's go there to meet with the other members"

Akihiro not feeling like standing up from that seat, retorted lazily, "Why now?! We can greet them later on..!"

Roulan fixated her stormy eyes onto him and urged that they should leave the place so that the kids can have their own time.

Akihiro wasn't able to confront her stares, therefore, he turned to Meifeng and pretended a smile.

He then spoke up smilingly, "Then...Meifeng and Shuzo and Leina..you guys stay here and enjoy. We will be right back"

Shuzo turned to look at his father, his father pats him on his shoulder and the two soon leaves the spot.

Soon after they left, only the three of them were there.

There was an awkward silence in between the air. No one was enunciating the conversation and was doing their own thing.

Therefore, Meifeng's sensual eyes turned to peek at Shuzo and started the conversation, "It's a great thing that you will now have a mother Shuzo. With senior Roulan being married to your father, Leina will officially be your sister?!"

The way this Meifeng started the conversation was kind of off.

Finding it uncanny, Shuzo hold down the wine and turned to take a glimpse at Leina.

Cuifen agitatedly smiles at it.

From the looks of her face, one can tell that she didn't like where the conversation was going. She didn't want to stay in that place not even for a second.

Shuzo smirked at seeing her indifferent face and replied composedly with his intoxicating eyes fixated on her, "Leina is a good girl. I am happy that she is going to be my sister!"

Cuifen stiffly turned to look at him while Meifeng on the side, was not inclining toward Leina becoming Shuzo's sister.

She felt jealous and sore at the same time.

There's something about her that makes her hate her. Just looking at Leina's face makes her blood boils.

Wanting to make fun of her, she turned to her and stated teasingly, "Then...Leina..you sure are lucky that you got Shuzo as your brother. With such a handsome and talented brother by your side, you sure won the lottery"

This Meifeng was surely poking fun at her, face off.

Not quite liking it, Cuifen scoffed at it and turned to look straight onto her face.

She then replied savagely, "Since I won the lottery, I am happy that I am the luckiest! I just have to make sure that my lottery doesn't get jinxed!"

She then rolled her eyes on her.

This time Cuifen was getting her revenge back on Meilein.

She now doesn't care whether the woman sitting before her is Meilein or Meifeng, she just wouldn't let anyone trample over her again.

Shuzo on the side was having all the fun at observing Leina's savage attitude. Just when did she learn to stand up for herself?! She was so charming when she did it like that.

While he was musing himself, Meifeng on the side was left dazed by Leina's quick change of attitude.

In the past, no matter how much she makes fun of her she wouldn't care and would let it slide. She wouldn't pay much attention to it but this time, she has a complete change of attitude like she is some different person.

Feeling shamed by Leina's savage attitude, Meifeng look down and smiled through the pain.

She was left peak with anger and raged that she consistently pricked her nails in tension.

Not wanting to face her and her stupid questions anymore, Cuifen immediately stood up and shared consciously, "Then... I will go out for a while.."

Shuzo's concerned eyes turned to gaze at her while she asserted coolly at it, "It won't be long!"

It was as if Cuifen already knows what was on Shuzo's mind.

Just by looking at his eyes, he can hear his voice.

Even though Leina says that she won't be long, Shuzo on the side didn't like the fact that Leina is leaving him with her forgotten memory, therefore, he spoke up in a caring complexion, "Don't go far"

Leina shooked her head at it and soon left the spot.

Meifeng was seeing it all. She noticed the uptight act of Shuzo. It was as if they are now real brothers and sisters.

Even before their parents got married Shuzo was already acting like a big brother to her. He is protective and caring of Leina.

She was finding it funny. The more she doesn't want Leina to become close with Shuzo, the more they are getting closer.

They will even become brothers and sisters in the future.

She was thinking through it all that if Leina becomes Shuzo's sister then she had to deal with her every time and then.

No matter how much she didn't like her, she will be forced to see her darn face!
