1 Chapter 1 _ The Past

(Thud sound )

{Elena POV}

"Mom! Dad ! Are you home ?" I screamed from upstairs. Mom and dad usually went out together for their work and returned home late. I heard the door opening and keys jingling. Mom  promised to give me a surprise gift when she would return so I was really excited to know what it was. On my way down I heard glass breaking and then I heard a gunshot and a loud scream. I reached down and saw my parents on the ground covered in blood . I was completely shocked. I completely froze.

But then I could feel someone staring at me from the window .I raised my head and saw someone standing on the top of the opposite building. I could barely see him. He was holding a gun in his hand. He looked at me and suddenly disappeared. Seeing the man who killed my parents I was filled with rage. I ran to the window and looked up trying to locate the man but I could not see him anywhere. I turned back and ran to my parents. Just then I realised that my mom was alive. She was barely breathing. She was trying to say something and opened her mouth but she could barely talk . As soon as she opened her mouth to talk she coughed up blood.

I couldn't control my tears. My vision was blurred by my tears. She gave me a heart warming smile ಥ‿ಥ and then she closed her eyes.

Since that moment I couldn't feel anything.

Pain, sadness or anger, nothing at all. All I could feel was the thirst for revenge. I wanted the person who killed my parents dead. And not just a normal death, a horrific one.
