2 CHAPTER - 2 - THE STUDENT

After Wang Lei and his party were officially recognized, they went to buy some equipments for defending themselves against demons.

There were more than 30 floors in the Slayer org building. The first 15 floors were available for C and D rank slayers to train or buy/forge their weapons and equipments. The next 15 floors were where rank A and B trained or bought equipments.

The party leader of Wang Lei's party was Chen Jiang who was the vanguard, whereas Chen Bao and Wang Lei were defender and attacker respectively. Their party proceeded towards the 25th floor according to their assigned number. Lei was surprised when he entered the equipent room. There were many beautiful weapons and armours that he could never thought of. There were golden plated shining armours with sun petals like patterns on them. There were swords that were shining in blue light and were priced above millions of yuans.

The weapons were also divided in ranks like the slayers and the floors. A sudden curiosity build up inside Lei and he asked Jiang,

"I was wondering for a while, the floors are divided in A to D ranks but you mentioned that there were 5 ranks, including the S rank, so where are the S rank floors or weapons?"

"S rank weapons are only affordable and weilded by S rank slayers and they also live seperately from the common folks. People say that they are very rare and only come near common slayers on special occasions."

Jiang replied.

"Well, you can say that but that's not completely true."

A voice interrupted them.

They turned to see a person with green, small hair and green eyes, who was around 6 feet and had a handsome face, speaking to them.

"My name is Xu Jin. I am 30 years old and I am one of the 3 S rank hunters of this country."

After hearing this the atmosphere around everyone suddenly changed. He brought his hands forwards to shake with Lei and said 'nice to meetcha!' looking at Jiang and Lei.

"No! The pleasure is ours!" Lei replied excitedly while shaking his hands.

Jin moved towards Bao and looked closely at her armour and said "A beautiful lady like you shouldn't wear such cheap quality armour. I can help you guys to buy some weapons and equipment, afterall today is my first day as a trainer!" He dragged them towards the armour and weapons sections after saying this.

He showed different kinds of armours and weapons to them. They were very expensive for them. Lei was surprised By the price of the items so he hesitatingly said to Jin,

"I think that this is too much, we cannot let you to buy them for ourselves."

"Huh? There's no problem at all! Look over there- your friends are buying them." Jin replied pointing his finger towards Jiang.

Jiang looked at Lei and told, "There is no need to hesitate, afterall he is our trainer, so he is buying these items for us. Also, he is way more richer than us. He's an S rank hunter man!" Bao also seemed to agree to that.

After listening his friends, Lei proceeded to buy an armour and some weapons for himself. He looked many armours but none of them seemed to get his interest. Suddenly, he looked at an Azure armour that had the patterns of planets and stars on it. It was cheap and didn't looked any special. There were also a pair of MEGALITHIUM daggers. He didn't knew why, but he got interested in those items and ended up buying them with Jin's money. After buying the armours and weapons Lei's party and Jin proceeded towards the training room.

"Hey Lei! I Heard from Jiang, you are new to this, right? Lemme show you how to attack somebody using divine energy. You can fight these training robots. First of all, you have to imagine the energy flowing inside your body and then you have to project it out slowly on your hand or leg, wherever you want. The divine energy can also be called Qi, as in olden times many cultivators used to fight with the demons using this method." Jin explained Lei.

"I know it. I have read many books about cultivation since I was a child. I have also practiced martial arts. I know attacking and defending moves but I have never used my B rank divine energy." Lei replied.

"Well then, you should try it on these training robots. Extract you Qi on your fist and transfer it to your dagger and try to stab these robots."

"Okay. I should try it now."

Lei clinched his fist which was holding the dagger. He closed his eyes and imagined the flow of Qi inside his body. He slowly began to stabilize the Qi or move it within his body. He moved the Qi within his body, slowly towards his right hand which was holding the pink coloured MEGALITHIUM dagger. When the Qi reached his hand, he transferred it towards the sharp tip of the dagger and stabbed the training robot. His Qi filled dagger dealt a lot of damage to the robot. Everybody around him was impressed.

"Wow! That was awesome! Not many people are capable of doing what you just did on their very first attempt." Jin complimented him.

"Uh- well, thank you. I'm really flattered!" Lei replied.

Chen Bao joined in and said to Lei,

"You are a supportive type, right? Then you should also be able to use magic as well! And your vitality blow was so strong, even though you are a supportive type, I want to see your magic blow right now!"

"o-okay! But please can you tell me, how is that possible?"

"There is nothing much to do. Just imagine the element that you want to create and distribute the Qi in your heart, brain and hands and after that release it with your hands!"

Lei listened Bao's advise and started imagining the FIRE element in his mind and he distributed the Qi in his heart, brain and hand. After doing this, his hand felt a little warm. He opened his eyes and saw a fireball in his hand and attacked the robot with it. The robot seemed to suffer huge casualties.

When Jin saw this, he got surprised but suddenly he got a phone call. He picked it up and murmured some words. After that he talked with Jin,

"You are one of the unique! Your facial expression says you have never heard of it... well listen me very carefully, UNIQUE are those who have special powers and are a new case in the slayer history. All the S rank slayers were originally unique. Before people didn't had the magic ability. The first S rank slayer was the only one at that time who had the fire elemental magic ability. After that many people seemed to learn from him and they also got the ability to use fire elemental magic. I was also a special case or UNIQUE because I had the ice elemental magic and till now there is no record of anyone to have it. You are also Unique because you have the ability to increase your power even if you are the supportive type. From now on I shall be your teacher and you shall follow me everywhere from now on. You can say that I will be the master of your party! Now, we shall move as soon as possible because I just got a call that an S rank dimension has been created. Let's get moving!"

"But we are a B rank party! We can't even enter an A rank dimension and you are planning to bring us to an S rank dimension?" Jiang interrupted.

"That's right. It's impossible for us to get into an S rank dimension." Bao agreed to Jiang.

"I'm sorry guys, but I have to follow my master. And why are you defying him Bao! Don't you trust him? I saw your lovestruck eyes back there!" Lei said.

"I'll f***in' kill you!" Bao shouted.

"Okay, then I shall follow my friend but wait, Bao are you actually blushing!" Jiang said.

"Shut up!" Bao shouted again.

"Okay my students! let's go!" Jin shouted with excitement.
