Heavenly Stars

Lyle- Older of the twins by eleven seconds. His magic includes grabbing swords and armor from a pocket of space. Blonde hair, green eyes. Spotted with freckles, 6'3, and a fighter type.

Mira- She is an only child and she is the girlfriend of Lyle. Her magic is pyrokinesis. She has red hair and blue eyes. Fighter type. She is 5'5. Tip: don't mess with her family and loved ones.

Liam- Younger of the twins. His magic is force fields and healing. He is the support type. He has blonde hair and green eyes and is spotted with freckles. He is 5'0.

Austin- He has two younger brothers. His magic includes air manipulation. He can fly with it, use it in battle, ect. Silver hair and yellow eyes make up his appearance. He is a fighter type.

Lyle has been in the same guild for about two years. That means I haven't seen my twin brother in a long time. But today is the day that I'm going to see him. I am joining the same guild as him. I thought to myself. I am really going to do it this time. I checked the grandfather clock in the corner and it read 7:15 am. Father is still in a meeting with the press. so that gives me time to disappear. I grabbed my black roller suitcase. It felt heavy, and all of the sudden doubt was going through my mind. I thought about what would happen if I didn't leave. I left a note on my father's door to let him know that I was leaving.

Suddenly I saw Lyle's face while waiting for me at the train station and he knew I didn't come. He was sulking as he was walking away. I pushed all of the doubt out of my mind and I ran out of the house to the train. The train whistled its last whistle as I barely made it on. I gave the conductor twenty dollars and said "Winterfeldt." He shook his head in acknowledgement as I took a seat that was closest to the door. I felt as free as a caged bird.

The train ride took forever. When I arrived at the station Lyle was there looking right at the entrance. I was in the crowd of tall people. Looking around and shouting for him. When he spotted me his face lit up like it was the fourth of July. as I ran over to him. I gave him a hug, and instead of my face fitting into his shoulder it hit his chest. He grew so much in such a small amount of time. We hugged for what seemed like forever. "You have grown so much in two years." I said with envy. He laughed and smiled.

"Yeah I guess I have. How have you been?" I was looking back on the two years remembering all the abuse and neglect then we stepped apart. "I've been good lately but right now I feel amazing. How have you been?" He smiled and slightly blushed. "I've had the best years of my life," he said with an amazing smile. "I'm so happy for you!" I said putting a bit too much enthusiasm into my smile. We just stood there and talked about what happened over the years, what I've missed and what he missed.

The guild hall was amazing, it was so cool and huge. I felt sleep creeping into my eyes. I got their emblem of a shooting star on my right hand and it turned yellow. I blinked my eyes a couple of times to stay awake. After meeting everyone. He put his arm around my shoulders and started leading me to the stairs and walked me to the first door on the left. My head met the couch cushion in perfect timing as I crashed into sleep.

I woke up to the sound of shouting and explosions. Lyle was already up and kicking. He was getting his shoes on. "Good morning. I said smiling trying to clear my eyes. Last night was so much fun but I still don't know if I did the right thing by leaving. Lyle snapped me out of my haze. " Get ready and I'll meet you down in the hall."

"Okay I'll be down in a minute or two." I took a look at my outfit. I am wearing pajamas. How did I even get into pajamas? Oh yeah, Lyle can requip into any outfit and he makes people wear anything he has. That startled me for a moment. I dragged my suitcase up to the couch. It took me a while to figure out what to wear but I settled on.

A perfect outfit, a nice fitting pair of jeans and a black shirt with an orange over shirt. No matter how hard I tried to find my contacts I can't find them so now I am left with my nerdy glasses. I put them on and my headache I was starting to get just disappeared.

I decided to go down and see the guild hall. It was even more festive than it was last night. The fight that just recently happened disappeared when I walked into the room. It was like they were trying not to scare me off. People were smiling at me and welcoming me to the family. I was looking around for Lyle. I couldn't find him until I found that blazing hair that we share. He was talking with the master of the guild. I took a look at the master and noticed she looked younger than most of the other masters at the guild.

She looked at me and said politely, "Welcome to the family, Liam."

"Thanks, if there is anything I can do just let me know." ���Thank you, I promise that I will try and not ruin the name of the guild." I said smiling." I didn't notice that Lyle left the request board. I smiled back. Lyle tugged on the sleeve of my shirt and I gave him my attention. "I have our job picked out and it's getting a magical eye back."

"Awesome, where is it?"

"It's in winterfeldt," he replied. Dad is in winterfeldt. I let it slip my mind that this is my new family.

The train ride back to Winterfeldt seemed to take little time. The streets were looking familiar. "What's the address of this place?"

"It's just around the corner where we will be debriefed on the whole situation."

"Makes sense." The house looks like it 's one of Dad's chains. Lyle just walked in so I followed behind him. There is an older Lady sitting on the couch drinking tea. "I assume you're the wizards that are going to get my magical eye back?" she asked when we entered the room. "Yes ma'am. Do you know where your magical eye is?" Lyle said inquisitively. "I already know who has it, and they're abusing its powers to see into the future. It's a family heirloom that means the world to me and my family. I'm going to teleport you into their stronghold"

She put up her hand at both of us and her hands started to glow an iridescent blue. In a flash of blue we ended up in a room without any people. It was silent but you could hear through the walls, there was lots of shouting. I couldn't make any sense of it. Lyle pointed at the door and motions forwards.

Lyle silently opened the door and motioned me to follow him. We entered this big room filled with masked men. Lyle got up and started waking over to them and I followed right behind him. As quietly as I could. Lyle took in a deep breath . "You have something we need. How dare you steal that from a little old lady." he said pointing one of his swords at it. The magic power eminatating in the room was grand as a whole. However, I think Lyle has the best magical power out of anybody in the room. Suddenly Lyle's clothes started to disappear out of habit and I looked away.

His body turned to a galaxy of colors and in a poof he had a full body of armor and a flame sword. He pointed his palm outwards toward me and in a poof of magical power. I was wearing armor that protects against physical attacks. It was a beautiful piece of armor. as I watched Lyle do his thing. I remembered that I am not a fan of fighting but he made it look cool. The more people he fought, the more people came out.

I saw someone with grand magical power walking toward him. He put his hands together and water was forming getting bigger he spun his hands around and the water spun so fast it looked like it could kill anyone. Lyle is a great fighter but sometimes he doesn't pay enough attention to the battle at hand. This time it was up to me to save him.

I felt the adrenaline coursing through me and the room started to go in slow motion. I ran towards Lyle as fast as I could. I made it in front of him. I willed my magic out and I saw the familiar yellow glow and I made it form into an oval in front of us to protect us from the pulsating water it made contact with within seconds. it started to loop around. Crap! I thought to myself I surged more magical energy into it and I made it into a perfect circle around our bodies. "Fire at will force fields are strong but they're limited." Oh no I thought to myself

I felt the high powered water heat up and tried to penetrate it. I saw and felt projectiles hitting it. I started to pant this was taking a lot of energy to hold it for this long. I felt something sharp slide across it. I screamed it was starting to hurt. I felt Lyle's eyes on me. He put his arms around me to try and comfort me. He put his hand up to his temple and just stood there for a moment.

"Just wait a little longer. I called for help. I Know it hurts but you are doing a great job just a little longer." "Who did you call?" I choked out "My small team, the master, is a teleporter and a telepath." I felt another sharp slice and another, the pain was so immense I started crying. I still couldn't see anything, the water was still trying to find a way in. I felt another slice then the worst pain I have ever felt. I saw my shield crack.

"Lyle'' I cried out. I channeled more energy into my shield then the crack patched back up. I felt my body getting exhausted. Then everything stopped the water and blunt attacks and I saw through the transparency in my shield it was kids that were our age I dropped the shield and fell to the ground. "Are you okay?" I heard Lyle ask "I am okay not the greatest. I'm so tired." They were still people battling each other.

I saw one of our guild mates doing battle with the water guy. He used some sort of air magic . I saw a guy several feet behind him firing up a fire ball it was humongous. Everyone else was fighting and I am just standing here doing nothing but panting. Come on, I can do this. I put my hand out as if to shield myself but I forced my shield over another it took more magic power for distance. I channeled all of my power into it to protect him. I saw it worked and he was covered. I saw the fire ball dismount from him and it made its way to him but it took a sharp turn and it was heading towards me. I looked at the other guy. He was in a place where I could remove the shield. I let it go and I felt my magic drain drastically. But I had to do it for me to protect myself.

I drew magic power out of myself. It felt like something inside of me was about to snap. I didn't draw any more magic out of myself or I would die. I molded it into a circle in front of me and I felt it make contact. I felt pain worse than what I felt a minute ago. I felt my shield break before I saw it. I felt the world around me go dark and I couldn't feel my body; it felt as heavy as lead. and I collapsed. I don't know if they were safe. "Liam" was the last thing I heard. I believe it was Lyle calling my name.

I awoke in the guild's hospitalI with a splitting headache. I saw Lyle resting his head on my abdomen. I started playing with his hair. He started to stir. I didn't care. I tugged my hand through his curls the same ones I have. He woke up in a sudden jump and he hugged me tight. "Are you okay you've been out for two and a half days don't worry me like that ever again okay?" "Okay I promise." Two days? I thought to myself as I got up slowly and looked around the room I was in. And I saw him as the one who uses some form of air magic. He was covered in burns that looked like they were not healing. "What happened to him?" He looked over at him and sighed and said " He took a fireball for you he protected you."

I looked at him and I kinda felt some sort of connection . It was hard to describe it. My brain didn't have any words to describe it. "He really protected me? Is he going to be alright? Liam looked down at the floor. "For the most part but he will be covered in those scars for the rest of his life." I stopped thinking about it. I got out of bed. "What's his name?" "Austin'' I walked around to him and I put my hands over the burned areas. I gently and slowly made my energy come out. Yellow mist came out of my hands. I did a different spell that was in my repertoire. All of the burns on his face and neck started to dissipate slowly but surely the marks disappeared in general you couldn't even see where they were.

I walked out of the room and I didn't look at Lyle as I was leaving. I wanted to leave before the guy woke up. I decided to go to the bar area and order some food I am famished with. The lady behind the bar was looking at me. She looked me up and down. "Babe What happened to your height, did Derek mess with you again?" "Oh sorry Im Liam Lyle's twin" She looked at me and said " You guys are identical like you guys look the same but of course you are shorter than him and even me too I think." I sighed "And why did you call me babe?" "Because I'm Mira and I've been dating your brother for about a year and a half."

I wonder why he kept this from me? "Congratulations one year is hard and I wonder why he never mentioned you in a letter before? Well he's old fashioned anyway he likes that stuff." "Yes he is" she sighed and looked down. "What's up is he is not treating you right? I may look small. I'll beat him to a pul-"No it's not like that it's its" she looks me in the eyes and sighs "We've been together for a while and and we've never you know." she looks down "have had sex" "Ohh have you guys talked about it?" she shakes her head yes.

"Well then at least he knows he respects you and not with you for what's on the outside he must really love you." She blushes. I saw Lyle out of the corner of my eye with Austin talking to him. Lyle pointed at me and Austin looked at me and for some dumb reason I felt the heat of my blush creep in. Austin made his way to me. He was really close to me and I felt the blush intensify. He offered me his hand and said with a deep voice. "I'm Austin and I heard what you did for me and I just wanted to thank you."

I took his hand and said "It's fine I just wanted to help and I am Liam." "Let me take you out to dinner as a thank you." my blush intensifies. "As i-in like a date?" he smiled and winked at me. "Exactly like a date if that's okay with you." I thought for a minute then I looked at Mira. She looked at me and shook her head as if to tell me to go for it. Then I looked at Lyle, who was smiling and shaking his head yes. "Yes that's fine you pick the place and pick me up at seven. I looked at the clock behind mira seven in a half hour. "Okay see you then" he left happily.

I grabbed Lyle and Mira and went home. I needed their opinions. I also need to take a shower because I haven't showered in awhile. We made it home and I brought my bag with me. I stripped and took a fast shower. I came out wearing a t-shirt and short shorts. I also straightened my hair. It now rests just below my eyes. I brought out my bag and I was looking for Mira and Lyle. They were in the kitchen cooking and it smelled delicious. I cleared my throat and they looked at me and sighed .

I grabbed my bag. "I need help okay can you guys help me pick out an outfit?" they smiled and laughed. Lyle and Mira were going through my bag and their smiles turned into worried smiles. Lyle held up a pair of underwear that were not meant for anyone to see and I blushed. I ripped away the underwear out of his hands. "Don't ask," I said, looking down at the ground. "Is there anything else like that in there?" I heard Mira laugh asking. I shook my head no. But they came to an agreement.

I am going to wear a pair of black jeans that have meshed holes in them and hugged all of the right places and a gray undershirt with a green overshirt. The time was closing up on me. I Styled my hair with a swoop that covers half of my face. We made our way back down to the guild hall. There he was with his short spiky blonde hair. With his ocean blue eyes that could find the waves of your heart. He has a sculpted top and is taller than Lyle. He saw me and smiled with pearly white teeth.

He took my arm and we left the guild. We are walking a bit fast because of his longer stride. It was a beautiful night to be out. The stars are magnificent. "Where are we going?" I asked. "Not much farther." I smiled when we came around the corner. There was this beautiful scene in front of trees. It was a picnic underneath the moonlight. I felt my heart grow and I just knew something that I am not willing to tell myself.

The date went by in a blur. I was laughing and smiling through the whole thing. I felt like I could be myself around him. We went on more and more dates and now we've been dating for a few weeks and those weeks turned into m months and those moths turned into years. I feel like we are going somewhere. I saw lyle at the request board he was there with Mira. It looks like they are going on a job. I went over to them and asked.

"Mind If I tag along." He looked at me and smiled "Of course you should ask Austin to join us too." I smiled. "Lets stop by his apartment and what job did you have in mind?" He took the flyer down. "Protecting precious cargo while traveling across the Blue Ocean. It is worth four hundred thousand dollars. It's a three day trip in all." "Sounds like fun maybe we can sightsee too.'' They laughed at me and agreed. We all made our way to the boat. It wasn't small either and we are allowed to roam around where we are supposed to act like couples enjoying a cruise.

Mira and I were having a bonding moment. We were enjoying the sun and we were watching the boys play a game where they use their magic and hit a magical absorbing ball so it doesn't destroy it. " I cannot believe that Lyle and I have been dating for two years its been two great years." I sighed and said "I'm glad that we became fast friends.'' she smiled and shook her head.

"How have you and Austin been doing? You guys seem close like you've." I knew where this conversation was going. I interrupted her and said. "No nothing like that has happened yet. We are taking it slowly. I guess I have inherited that from Lyle." We both look at him. I let my eyes wander to Austin man. How is he in good shape? Austin Used his magic, it was a beautiful white and yeah. I felt goose flesh raise on my arms.

I sighed as I looked at Lyle. He brought out a gauntlet that enhances strength a lot. Austin knew what it did because I could see him coming up with a strategy. Lyle hit the ball with as much force as he could muster up. I saw Austin fly up with magical wisps of clear air flying around him. He held up his hand and I got the perfect idea. I willed my magic to cover a small place I felt his wind go around it. I saw him make contact with it and blast it back down to Lyle who was unprepared. It barely missed Lyle; it left a scrape on him.

I have never done this before I clasped my hands together and thought about where the wound was on his body and I imagined my energy flowing through him and healing him. I opened my eyes and saw yellow glowing from his arm it was working. I smiled to myself. The boys walked over here with huge smiles on their faces.

Austin came closer to me and said "tag team" and kissed me on the lips. I smiled and said. "There is no way I am doing that with mira we all know she'll kick my butt." He smiled " I mean I tried sorry Mira" I looked over my shoulder to see her and she looked confused. Don't worry about it I mouthed. She smiled and went back to kissing Lyle. I got up and I took his hand. We were walking about the boat enjoying the sun and the peacefulness.

We decided to make our way back to our group and to check on the cargo. Mira and Lyle were not to be seen so we decided to go check on the cargo ourselves. We made our way down to the hull. It was so spacious in here. I heard a crash and a boom. I knew who made those sounds. There is an illusion down here to make it seem there's nothing in here. But matter of fact there is, it's just a way down here.

We started running about halfway through the hull we passed through the illusion. There was Mira and Lyle kicking butt there were about ten people in there who were using all types of magic. We rushed in there to give them a hand to protect the cargo. All of the people looked the same so maybe it's a sort of duplication magic. A dagger buzzed past my head. I didn't have enough time to put a shield up and it nailed Austin in the abdomen.

He used his magic and flew us to the cargo area near Lyle and Mira. He dropped slowly. All four of us had our backs to the cargo and I summoned a shield that covered the area we were in. it protected the cargo And all of us were behind it except the guys I used more magical power to generate healing inside of the shield. I felt all of their wounds heal up. The people who are out there started to make their way out. I put a shield just before the illusion that covers the ship. I moved it forward and I moved the shield that was protecting us. I pushed from both sides until all of the people were all in a secluded area. The people inside were throwing daggers at the shield. Nothing was happening. I was so proud of myself. Our little team was walking forwards. I felt the magical energy of the people inside. Only two of them had the powers. The rest were duplicates.

"Give it up I know there's only two of you in there." The team didn't look surprised. The people inside poofed in a smoke of blue. There were only two people there like I thought. The team started questioning them they would not budge. So I decided to play bad cop. I started shrinking the capacity of the shield. They didn't look surprised. " I don't think he has it in him to hurt anyone." something snapped inside of me.

I shrunk the shield down until it was only highlighting their bodies. "Tell me now or I will make mincemeat out of your bodies. You hurt my boyfriend, my brother and best friend so you better start talking." My group turned their heads to look at me like I made a point. Lyle spoke up " you better start talking out of the eighteen years ive known him he has never acted like this." Mira and Austin shook their heads in awe.

I slightly tightened the shield. I watched their eyes bulge out of their eye sockets. "Let us go and we'll tell you anything." I raised my eyebrow, widened my shield and shaped it like a cylinder. I grabbed Lyles hand and walked through my shield. When I walked through it felt as if my insides got twisted inside and out. Their body language became tense. I got a better feeling of their magical power once I was inside it screamed insecurities.

Something felt off I couldn't name it. I was mentally testing my shield feeling the elasticity of it and how it flows. They took a couple of steps forward. I saw Lyle take a step forward. "That's close enough." Lyle got two twin daggers out. They approached one step and pulled something out. It was a spherical object. Something about it reminded me of my childhood. It started to glow a red then it turned into smoke. I looked at Lyle. He is okay.

The smoke got bad and it covered the area of the shield. I felt my magic power waver. I dropped a wall of the shield and right on que Austin used his magic to sweep away the smoke but once it made contact it exploded. I felt my shield break and perish. I started coughing up blood. The smoke finally cleared up. The perpetrators were gone. I felt dizzy and hot. I made my way to Austin and collapsed in his arms. "Babe are you okay? Just take it easy.

"Can I have a breeze please?" He kissed my head and I felt the wind blow through me. It felt as if love was flowing through me. It was flowing through me. He stopped the wind. He picked me up. "I can walk myself. I don't like being picked up. It makes me feel small and inferior." He chuckled. "You're not inferior to anyone." He put me down. I felt dizzy. I kept walking and I swayed to the left. This time Lyle picked me up. I slapped his arm.

"Fine if I'm going to be carried, give me back to my boyfriend." He sighed and put me in his waiting arms. I sighed. Mira patted my head."It's okay everyone has weak moments." I started wiggling around and I moved my position. I was basically piggy backing him but I was Grabbing around his torso. His hands went under my butt and I started to feel the blush creep into my face. I kinda enjoyed the feeling of not lying.

Mira looked at me and laughed at me. "Why's your face so red Liam? Is something else wrong?" I looked at her and thought stop it, you know exactly what's going on, don't trigger Lyle to look back here. She laughed. I wrapped my arms around his neck and I put my head on his shoulder. I love this man so much it's kinda scary.

I sighed and listened to his heartbeat. Before we got back up to the deck I got out of his arms just still a little bit wobbly. But I am fine. I have to stay strong and keep my guard up. By sunset there was no sign of the perpetrators. About an hour later. I heard a scream towards the front of the deck. I came running and I saw a girl pointing down towards the water.

I looked down and saw a little boy had gone overboard and was now in the water. I jumped off the boat and channeled energy into my feet and produced a shield that just hovered in the air. "Hold still let me help you." I put my hands out palms facing him and I put energy and force around him and decided to form a circle that covered his whole body.

I moved my arms and up and the shield started moving. I levitated it and put him back on the deck gently. I got back onto the deck and I dropped the shield on him and the kid wasn't getting up so I bent down and outstretched my hands. I thought and felt all of the love and I gently pushed my magic out. My magic sensed his body there was nothing wrong with the child other than that water was in his lungs.

No dip I thought to myself. I willed my magic to cover the lungs part and to disburse all of the water that is held in his lungs. It came out with a gasp and he woke up. The mother was right there crying and thanking me. I walked away before anyone else noticed. I miss Austin. I just want to be with him but I also don't want to be clingy. I took a deep breath in, held it for five and out for seven.

I walked around the boat and he was nowhere to be seen so I went down below to see Lyle fighting with Austin using magic. I walked over to mira."What's going on?" She sighed "They're sparring with each other and learning how to overcome their weaknesses." "Ahh I see I see. I am going to stop them because I want to have a nice dinner with everyone." "Hey guys how about dinner I'm paying!" They both looked at me. I could see love in both of their eyes. I linked arms with Austin. We made our way to dinner. Austin ordered clam chowder. Mira ordered a BLT. Lyle ordered steak and I ordered a chef salad. Dinner came and it went.

Austin and I walked hand and hand around the ship while Mira and lyle were on the other side. Keeping an eye out for anything weird. We made our way back below and past the illusion. Nothing, everything was still there. Austin sat down on the chair. I walked over to him and straddled the tall person. I put my head into his chest and listened to his steady heartbeat. I felt so emotional I felt all my love for him swell up in my throat and it threatened to make me cry.

"I love you so much you." I said while wrapping my arms tighter around him. He wrapped his protective arms around me. "I love you too," he said in his base voice. He leaned in and softly pressed his lips against mine. My eyes went wide. I closed them slowly. I started kissing him back. I heard someone clear their voice behind me. I stopped, opened my eyes and looked behind us. It was Lyle and MIra.

"Haha hi guys" how long were you there?" Mira smiled "Long enough." I felt the blush creep into my cheeks. "What if I can't kiss my boyfriend?" They both looked at eachother "Well you can but by the looks of how you were kissing him and sitting on his lap and kissing him like that I thought that you guys were gonna do the deed," "LYLE!" I screamed. "Why would you say that?" He shrugged " Only saying what I was seeing and you're still straddling him." I felt level two of the blush. I got up quickly and Austin Held me hostage to sit on his lap facing them.

"Is this better?" Austin asked?" Lyle shook his head in agreement. I felt the blush coming harcore. "You get that from mom." He said, nearly dying of laughter. "Get what?" I obviously knew what he was saying. He gave me the look. "Alright alright what should we do?"

Mira put a hand on her face and her face lit up like a light bulb. Why don't we go swimming?"But what are we going to do if they come?" Countered Lyle I had a shurk on my face. "I say we go swimming and I do this." I said putting a shield around the cargo boxes. I channeled more energy into the shield to make it a hundred percent invisible and everything behind it too.

After swimming I went and laid down because keeping up the barrier and playing volleyball in the pool would make you tired too. Austin layed down with me. I layed on his chest listening to his heartbeat which lulled me off into a peaceful sleep.

I awoke to an empty bed. Austin was nowhere in the room. I heard the shower start. I knocked on the bathroom door. "Come in." So I did. "Do you want to join me?'' he said, opening the shower curtain just enough to only see his face. It took all of my power to say no. I started to walk away when I heard the shower curtain open. I felt Austin's warm lips on my neck trailing down. He kissed my ear. I let out a soft moan. Are you sure you don't want to join me?" I felt his hot breath on my neck. I felt all of my self control skyrocket out the window. I turned around and my lips met his lips. He didn't fight back but he initiated more into it.

Our tongues were fighting for space in each other's mouths. I heard moaning. I don't know if it was coming from me or from him and frankly I didn't care. I broke away to breathe. I dtripped off all of my clothes and jumped into the shower. The water felt so hot and nice. I felt Austin wrap his arms around me. He continued to kiss my neck because he knows it's my undoing. I shuddered again. I felt his excitement poke me in the back.
