Xiang Ye - Chapter 2
Xiang Ye, which is me, was running at nearly 40 kilometers an hour, dashed toward the roar that I predicted was almost 100 kilometers away. This would be a hard run, but hopefully, my Physical Power would increase during this. After about an hour and a half, my breathing became ragged, and my muscles began to cramp. However, I stopped suddenly. In front of me was a massive cave with a Bear the size of a truck eating a small tiger.
Saying I wasn't scared would be wrong. I was terrified, my brain starting to scream at me to run. However, I knew I could beat it. I steeled my mind, and slammed my hand onto the ground, shouting the moment it hit. "Primordial Ruins!" A massive blast of earth sprung from the ground, reaching probably 8-10 meters across in some areas. I was shocked. Before, it had been so small! What on earth- or rather, this planet had made it like this!

I was a bit less surprised now but still jarred. The bear had almost been completely squashed in between the roof and the pillar, but it was still struggling. Seconds later, a massive pillar of fire encompassed the entirety of the cave. I was slightly worried about this rate of progress, but also massively excited. It was happening very quickly, a good thing, but also so fast I didn't even know it was this strong.
The smell of delicious roasted meat spread from the cave as the fire died down. I was tempted to grab the bear and run, but If I did that I would probably attract more beasts like the one I had just killed. My worries outweighed the small pang of hunger I felt smelling the meat. I had to run back to my crater and I wanted to immediately get out of there, and so I ran. For two hours my adrenaline-fueled panic had made me run faster and longer. I tripped on the top of my crater and crumpled downwards.
I breathed in and out heavily, my pupils contracted and my face looked worried. I coughed and spoke quickly. "Stats!"

My eyes widened. Just from that, I had gone from Average to Good? My Mystic Power went from 100 to 210!? Why was I advancing so fast? This shouldn't be possible. My breathing slowed, my heart beat matching. I sat up from my sprawled out position and asked the system why I had been advancing so fast.

I see. So, why am I comprehending the Law so fast? This also should not be the case because Minor Gods bring fear to experts. Is it because they don't have as much knowledge as me because I come from a more knowledgable planet?

I began thinking of religions, races, cities all abandoned and left in the past. The origin of everything, the Big Bang, Primordial soup, everything. After nearly three hours a Ding popped up. I was excited! This meant I would get a new ability hopefully!

My brain felt like it was imploding because of the knowledge from the techniques. How many steps to complete mastery were there for the Ancient Law? I assume it will only get harder each step and considering the Difficulty Level was unknown... It would likely take a long time.
However, for now, I must see these techniques. I spoke confidently, this time, and commanded the system. "Show me all New Techniques."

I was less shocked than before, guessing what they would be, but still shocked nonetheless. My eyes had widened, thinking that due to my reaching of the Second-Step, my stats may have had a boost.

My jaw dropped. This meant I was stronger than everyone on earth? Faster, even? My previous mindset shattered. I was in a new world, with god-like abilities compared to before. I could... I could even become a god. I was like the people the Romans worshipped, the Greeks, the Aztecs, everyone. I was... a god. I was a god comparable to those in history. Multiple dings went off in my head, but I ignored them and continued on my tangent. My mind became clearer and clearer. Suddenly, my mind stopped. Everything just became clear, and then nothing. My words stuck.
Why had my thoughts been cut? I cursed into the humid air. I gave up and checked the notifications I had gotten.

My eyes widened again. "System, isn't this ability just a bit too overpowered?" I spoke hastily, not believing it for a second.
