1 Prologue
"*Cough*W-Why ?"
A man dressed in a white robe and covered by his own blood asked to the woman in front of him.She looked no older than 16 years old and had brown hair and vicious brown eyes.
"Even now you still don't understand father.*Sigh*You know,no one in this family loved you.I mean how could we love someone who was never there for us and who only came to see us when the citizens were having doubt about the fact that we actually were a real family?You're not a father and not even a husband!I still don't know how mother could've loved you.Atleast now she's with someone who love her!!"
She said her last sentence while crying as the man shook his head.
"It's incredible how selfish you all are.I sacrificed myself for this empire and yet you dare to do something like that!?Over such petty and selfish reasons!?"
She seemed to be angered by his statement as she stabbed his shoulder in hope to make him scream but he just glared at her and laughed slightly.
"The daughter of such a bitch could've never become a good woman but i hoped that you would still become atleast a little smarted than your brother.You had the patience to wait for the poison to take effect but you didn't even checked for all the guards!!"
As he said this 2 armored man appeared and started to fight her while he continued to laugh.
"HAHAHA!!Actually i don't know if it's patience or fear!!Guards!!KILL THAT TRASH!!"
The guards gathered their Qi and rushed at the girl while she tried to dodge.She could dodge one spear but the other stabbed her arm and she screamed.
"TCH!To think you're so weak it just disgust me!!I'm kinda happy that i can atleast see you and all those trashs die before I die!!"
One of the guards impaled her as the other beheaded her and the man got up,coughing blood .
"YOUR MAJESTY!!!"
The guards saw the state of their emperor so they rushed towards him but he simply dismissed them with his hand.
"N-No i want you to capture my wife and my other daughter since they are part of this!They tried to assassinate me and as such they will pay!!"
"YES!!"
The guards hurriedly left the room while the man went to his throne and sat down.
'An execution should be good for those two whores.I'm not really surprised since i always knew Hua Xia never loved me,but to think that my little flower betrayed me too!!*Sigh*Normally i should say it's my fault but when i think about it..It's their faults for being so selfish.I should also execute the man who dared to take my wife.With my cultivation realm i should die in 2 or 3 days since no one can cure something like this.'
He drifted into sleep as his body continued to suffer,but atleast his mind became peaceful.
2 days later his whole family except for his son and the new 'husband' of his ex-wife were captured and he prepared a public execution for them.They thought that the civilians were gonna side with them since many thought of the emperor as a tyrant but it was surprisingly not the case.
"ASSASINS!!!"
"TRAITORS!!!"
"WHORE!!!"
It was difficult to imagine that this family was the family of the emperor with how much they were insulted.
The emperor came in front of the family and took a sword with a dragon hilt.
"I Xuè guān,emperor of the Varuna empire am now standing in front of all of you to execute those disgusting traitors who dared to try to assassinate me!!!"
As he said this many people threw multiple objects at the family,be it fruit and vegetables or even weapon like knife and sword.The whole family was humiliated but the glow in the mother eyes still shined enough to let the emperor know she wanted to kill him more than anything
"Xuè guān!!!How dare you!!??EXECUTE YOUR OWN FAMILY!!!YOUR OWN BLOOD!!"
He approached her slowly and crouched in front of her as he smiled coldly.
"Family huh?I don't think that cheating on me and also trying to assassinate me is really showing that.I think that you're just trying to manipulate me by using my emotions.*smirk*Sadly i'm not some sort of idiot or dense person,woman.All of you were in the wrong to start with,and as such you shall be executed by my own blade"
He got up and walked in front of the new husband of his ex-wife and smiled cruelly.
"So...Was it worth it to fuck her and be executed because of it?"He said as the man began to cry.
"P-Please!!Y-Your majesty!!!She tricked me!!!I don't have anything to do with-"
Before the girls could even cry because of what this supposedly loving man said,he was beheaded by a smirking Xuè guān.He turned towards his daughter and shook his head.
"To think the only one i really loved in this family actually betrayed me.*Sigh*Atleast your brother wasn't part of this."
She looked at him with teary eyes and began to cry."*Sob*P-Please father stop!!It was our mistake b-but please forgive us!!"
He pointed his sword at her as she froze.
"Forgive you?You seemed to have read to many stories about hero forgiving anyone for no real reasons dear daughter!!Sadly i'm not a hero, and most importantly I DON'T FORGIVE TRAITORS!!!"
He slit her throat and made his way towards his wife who trembled in fear and sadness.She had tears falling on her face as she looked at him with a pleading expression.
"H-Husband i-"
"DIE!!!"
She couldn't even finish her sentence that she was stabbed in the heart by him.
"W-Why?"
She asked as she coughed blood and looked at him tiredly.
"Hmph!!It's funny you know.It's exactly what i said to our daughter when she poisoned me!!!"
He beheaded her and turned to see a shocked crowd.
"MY DEAR PEOPLE!!I'VE POISONED BY THE DRAGON THORN POISON WHICH IS UNCURABLE !!I WILL PASS THE THRONE TO MY SON Xuè dāopiàn!!!"
The crowd was stunned by his announcement but soon cheers was heard everywhere on the streets and the whole city shook with the voice of the civilians who were celebrating.After all Xuè dāopiàn may not be the smartest man alive but he had everything of a great ruler,even though sometimes he was kinda stupid.
It wasn't really long before Xuè guān,the heavenly emperor died and before he passed away he let a last message to his son.
'Son i'm proud of what you've become and i hope that you'll be able to rule this country in an even greater way than me.The rest of the family were traitors but you stayed loyal to me until the end,and as such i left a little gift for you in my room.You'll find it under my bed and i sure hope that it'll help you become someone as feared as me.I know that my death was pretty pathetic for the strongest cultivator in the world but atleast i could kill those bitches before they could kill me.Farewell son may you become the greatest emperor of all time.'
