12 Under The Starry Sky With You & Me
Yae's POV
I am currently following a kid.
I am just curious about the kid after learning about his past and his current circumstances she wanted to know what truly drived him to work so early even when he has been suffering the pain of doing labour .
The kid just turned inside the Alley taking twists and turns and finally after 20 minutes of walking he reached to stop before a small house. The house colours was pale and has not gone through any fixtures the roof was nailed with planks in a weird way.
The kid went into the house.
I was at the backside of the house listening to the wood creaking from inside. I know someone is walking towards a room I followed the sound and then I heard something.
"Mama, the kind sister from the bakery shop gave me these bread."
"You did not steal right"
" No mama, I will never steal I am a good boy"
" Ok, Now eat one and keep the others for tonight"
" What about you Mama? I will eat afterwards when you're done."
" Ok Mama "
" Sammy,Can you go and fetch me some water"
"Ok Mama"
I heard the sound of wood creaking and pot knock.
" Mama, I am going to the well to fetch some water."
*clack
The noise of the door opening was heard and Sammy had gone out.
I was silently thinking about something when suddenly I heard Sammy's Mom coughing very harshly.
* cough * cough * cough
Then I heard a soft cry after the cough.
I moved from the place went to the door step and dropped my money pouch there it had more than 20 gold in it if one count the copper and silver in it.
I was not sure if Sammy would pick it up or not but I will stay and see to it that he picks it up.
I climbed up to one of the building roof to see to that Sammy picks it up and after that I would leave.
After waiting for some time I could see Sammy carrying a bucket of water with two hands pulling it up with all his strength walking like a crab .
Sammy reached the door step and saw that there was something down there he kept the water bucket down and picked it up . The bag
weights down when he picked it up and the side bulged showing the outline of the coins. Sammy hands were trembling at the moment.
I saw him open the bag and he straight ran to his house.
I sighed inwardly
" It's so sad that I can't do much to help you Sammy. I'm sorry. I wish you can pull through"
"He will pull through"
I suddenly heard a calm voice beside me and instantly turned to see it was Akio Sama I stepped back in shock but I realized I lost my footing and I was gonna fall. I was momentarily blank.
But then a hand stretched out grab my wrist I was happy at the fact there was someone nearby to save me from falling and embarrassing myself.The hand had grabbed my wrist and I was pulled directly under his embrace.
"You've done well Yae." Akio Sama said in a soft voice
The moment I heard those words from Akio Sama something inside me was let out I started to cry and hugged him as hard as I could.
' Thank you Akio sama'

Akio was tired of waiting at the moment
It was already Night now the sky had turned dark the moon was out.
Akio used his search magic and pinpoint where Yae was at.
Akio went towards the location and saw that Yae was sitting at the roof an watching something below.
Akio activated stealth and sat near Yae left side which was a blind spot to where she was watching. He joined in to watch it together with Yae without letting her know of his existence. He saw a boy down with torn patched clothes carrying water with all his strength.
He enhanced his senses temporarily by using null magic to see and hear a woman coughing at a small house down there.
The boy was watching the content inside the bag and rushed in to the small house then it came to him that Yae was just helping a family in misfortune.
Akio heard Yae talk to herself
" It's so sad that I can't do much to help you Sammy. I'm sorry. I wish you can pull through"
I Chuckled Inwardly and said
"He will pull through"
Ow
' I forgot I am in stealth mode'
Yae freaked out when she saw him there as if seeing a ghost who popped out of nowhere.
Yae jumped and moved back but she lost her footing and would fall down to the ground which will be quite hurtful.
Akio quickly caught up to her arms and pulled her closely to catch her into his embrace.
Akio sigh in relief and was also proud of what she did just now .
"You've done well Yae." Akio said in softly.
Next moment she started crying hoarsely
Her hands were locked under Akio Armpit stretching to his shoulder where she griped him hard not providing much space.
The mental turmoil that she has gone through today thinking what she would have done when she was in their shoes. Would she had broken down or taken a step up to change and fight .What she did was it right or not. Would it help or not the family of 2 .The money she had given to them was not enough for them to live their life but they could tackle the current situation.
She was troubled deep inside still worrying if she had done it correctly or not.
At this moment when she heard what Akio said to her.
Everything poured out in the form of tears.

Yae had cried out for a long time and was still in roof lying down napping in Akio chest while Akio was watching the starry sky .
