A Novice Magus is somebody who has just started training in magic with only 1 Mana Pillar unlocked.

A Junior Magus is a magus that has started to master the basics of magic and has 2 Mana Pillars unlocked.

A Senior Magus is a magus that is highly proficient in magic and has at least 3 Mana Pillars unlocked.

A Master Magus is a magus that has created and mastered an absolute art proving just how skilled they are in magic, and has all 4 Mana Pillars unlocked.

A Grandmaster Magus is the highest rank magus, who can topple mountains with but a look and part the seas with a wave of their hand, heal all but the dead, and incredible things that are inconceivable for any magi other than themselves.
