32 Potion Making

Never in her wildest dreams, Rebecca thought, the formula given by Ayaan was the god-rank.

In this world, heaven-rank was legendary, they were like myths in the Aemmugar.

However, right at this moment, all her previous understanding became upside-down.

God-rank?

Are there magic formulas above heaven-rank in this world?

This was her first time, hearing about god-rank. She had always thought, heaven grade was the highest rank and heaven mages were the highest rank, any mage could reach.

Afterwards, Rebecca held the scroll with her trembling hands. She still had the feeling of surrealism — God trank? How hard was believing in this for her; however, she believed that Ayaan won't lie to her.

Then, she looked at Ayaan and asked hesitantly, "Is it really God-rank?"

Ayaan smiled before replying to her, "Of course, it is, or you think I would lie to you?"

As Rebecca heard his reply and thought he misunderstood her intention. Therefore, she tried to explain, "I didn't mean…"

"Shhh~"

This time Ayaan placed his index finger on her flowery lips before speaking, "You don't need to explain, I believe you."

Rebecca's face turned red when she heard him. It was she who previously said the same thing to Ayaan.

'How cute' Ayaan thought as he looked at her red face and gently pinched on her cheek, which made her face redder and seeing this Ayaan laughed out loud.

"Bully~" Rebecca hit on his chest but there was no force in her gentle punches. After that, she buried her head inside his chest and cuddled in his hug.

Later, Rebecca remembered something and asked him excitedly, "Now, I have a god-rank magical formula; does this means I don't need to form any rune from now on?"

"What?' Ayaan looked at her in confusion and didn't understand what she meant.

Rebecca looked at his face in confusion. Didn't he know about this? Anyways, she still explained, "I have once heard, if someone practices heaven-rank magic formula, he won't need to form any rune at his/ her consciousness.

Now, I am going to practice a god-rank magic formula which is by far better than heaven-rank. Doesn't this mean that I won't need to form runes anymore?"

As Ayaan heard her explanation, his eyes went wide in shock. Was there really something like this? Why did that damn bird make me waste 1000 credits for a rune then?

He cursed in his and remembered that birdy didn't have her full memory at that time. Maybe, she herself didn't have any idea about it. Moreover, Ayaan remembered, after the update of the system, his rune vanished without even leaving a trace behind.

At that time, he received the "Archeon Formula" which was still incomplete. However, he knew that the formula was overpowered, because after getting it, Ayaan was able to practice every element in this world. Still, if he wanted to complete the formula, he had to find more components of the system.

Anyways, the point was that, from now on Rebecca would not need to form runes. Instead, she could practice any five elements, according to her magic formula.

After resting for half a day, Ayaan looked around and found the place warm, gentle and full of vitality. Therefore, both of them decided to spend some time in this jungle. Although the jungle was dangerous, Ayaan had already developed many surviving tricks.

Nevertheless, Rebecca also didn't stay idle; how could a previous great-mage take the humiliation of being weak? She practised her magic powers diligently — in just ten days, she had broken through to the junior mage.

Even Ayaan whose magic-power was increasing like a rocket felt astonished by her talent. On the other hand, it was normal. Although she lost her magic in this period of time, her understanding was still there. In addition to her determination and hard work, she broke through to the next realm.

In the meantime, Ayaan also didn't slack off and regularly went to the undead plane for training. He would spend most of his time training in the undead plane; later, accompany Rebecca in her training. In comparison to the hellishness of the undead plane, her training was nothing.

After continuing training for ten days, his strength had reached an unfathomable level. Although Rebecca wanted to ask him about the reason for his time to time disappearance; she stopped herself and waited for the right time, when Ayaan himself would tell him.

Nonetheless, the training didn't stop...

"Dimension Slash!"

"Whoosh~"

"Puchi!"

"Howl!"

A miserable howl of a beast echoed throughout the forest. However, just after a second later, all commotion died down and the environment again became tranquil.

On the ground, a corpse of a beast was lying — there was a deep cut on the belly of a beast while its innards were falling out from that wound. Although the guts of the beast could be seen, its body never stopped twitching in the meantime.

"Clap~ Clap~"

From the side, the clapping sound resounded, followed by the sound of the footsteps.

Ayaan looked at Rebecca who was soaking in sweat and said gently, "In ten days, you have already comprehended more than five percent "Dimension Slash". Should I marvel about your talent or feel ashamed of myself?."

Rebecca looked at him and snorted before replying, "Don't try to act in front of me; I know your comprehension is far above mine."

After hearing her reply, Ayaan gave a hollow laugh and changed the topic, "Ahh.. yes, I have made a magic replenishing potion, try it."

As said, Ayaan threw a tube filled with medicine towards Rebecca.

In these ten days, there were many things Ayaan had bought from the "Shop" and in those things, one was the elementary book of potion-making. When Ayaan saw the book at that time, he bought it without hesitation.

Moreover, after practising it for more than ten days, Ayaan was already able to make magic replenishing potions as well as healing potions. Although both were low-grade potions, they were enough for current Rebecca and Ayaan.

As for the problem of medicinal herbs, Ayaan found many in the undead plane. Although all the herbs of the undead plane had death energy inside them. After reading the potion making book, Ayaan found a method for cleansing them.

The method wasn't hard, on the contrary, it was beneficial for him. He just needed to absorb all the undead energy inside his body from herbs, and they would become pure and suitable for potion-making. Additionally, by absorbing undead energy inside his body, Ayaan's understanding of the death element increased rapidly.

Nevertheless, Rebecca grabbed the potion and smiled before saying jokingly, "Are you using me as a test subject?"

"What do you think?" Ayaan asked similarly in a sarcastic way and after seeing his reaction, Rebecca chuckled and drank whole medicine inside the tube.

Simultaneously, she felt a warm feeling inside her body, medicine went inside every corner of her body and replenished it, in just a few seconds Rebecca felt a refreshed and cooling sensation throughout her body.

Afterwards, she looked towards Ayaan and said in a surprised voice, "What kind of potion was this? It was amazing; I could feel as if every pore of my body was replenished by new vitality!"

"Ohh, it was just a low-grade magic replenishing potion. For the time being, I could only make two potions, another one is a healing potion of the same grade." Ayaan replied languidly as if he wasn't satisfied by his progress in potion-making.

Rebecca rolled her eyes at him when she saw how melancholic his face was making. Although she didn't know much about potion making, she knew about the potion makers; they were arrogant people and profession of the potion making was one of the most profitable professions.

However, becoming a potion maker wasn't an easy feat. For becoming a potion maker, one needs knowledge about herbs and the composition of them. Even a little negligence would destroy all the previous work.

Although Ayaan wasn't satisfied with his progress; he still nodded towards Rebecca.

Thereafter, both of them walked away, hands in hand; after reaching the pond, their gaze fell on the small wooden house. Both of them were standing by the side of the pond, holding hands of each other, not far away from them was a beautiful small wooden-house.

This wooden-house was made by Ayaan and they had spent ten days in it. Although tsnu tsnu didn't happen between them, kissing became a daily meal for Ayaan.

Finally, Ayaan turned towards Rebecca and spoke seriously, "Didn't you want to know where I usually train? Today I will take you there."

Rebecca looked at him in surprise, at the same time, she felt excited at the thought of training alongside Ayaan.

Now, she could spend more time with him. Although she said to Ayaan that she doesn't mind him having more wives but in her heart, she still felt uncomfortable.

Nonetheless, she didn't dwell on it for much longer and waited for Ayaan to speak. However, as she looked at Ayaan, he gave her a mysterious smile and said, "Tightly hold me."

As he spoke, a portal behind them appeared — without hesitating Rebecca held his hand tightly while looking continuously at the portal in great shock.

However, at this time, an invisible force started to pull them towards the portal. Rebecca tried to say something, but the invisible force instantly pulled them inside the portal.
