33 Overpowered Skeletons

The fire was burning everywhere, and scorching heat could be felt. If any ordinary person was to come here, he would turn to ashes in a matter of seconds. Strange trees were burning with different colours of fires; however, the fire didn't burn them; on the contrary, it gave them even more vitality and the leaves of trees, which were made of fire fluttered vigorously.

Moreover, no traces of water could be seen for miles; but there were some fire type monsters wandering here and there; furthermore, there were monsters of different shapes and sizes.

At this moment, the portal appeared above this world of fire and two humans walked out from it, holding hands of each other tightly.

Ayaan was afraid that they would appear at a different place. Therefore, he held her hand tightly this whole time without releasing.

After exiting the portal, Ayaan saw that they were still together and sighed in relief. Simultaneously, he remembered those novels, where the main character always remains calm and collected; even when his loved ones would separate from him in some kind of strange world, and felt the urge to curse them.

How could someone remain calm at this kind of situation?

Bullshit!

"Woah!'

As he was busy criticizing others, an exclamation resounded from beside him. He turned and saw a jubilant face of Rebecca.

"It's so refreshing here!" she continued and walked forward, Ayaan saw her childlike behaviour and let her wander for a while.

Of course, Rebecca would feel pleasant and invigorated in this kind of environment, she was phoenix — king of all fire type creatures. The fire would only make her stronger. At this place, if she doesn't practice her magic, she wouldn't stop growing strong. On the contrary, if she works harder here, her progress would become even more stunning than before.

However, just as she was observing everything around, her clothes started to burn. She looked in shock at her clothes, which disappeared in just a few seconds and turned in the pile of ashes close to her feet.

Stunned!

Rebecca looked at her naked body without any clothes and turned towards Ayaan who was also staring at her with his perverted gaze. However, he didn't notice that his clothes had also disappeared and now he was standing naked in front of Rebecca.

Ashamed, Rebecca took out a set of clothes and wore them without any delay. Then, formed a magic energy barrier, so the surrounding heat would not burn her clothes. All this time, Ayaan was staring at her beautiful body without blinking.

Afterwards, Rebecca glared at him, but when she saw a little brother hanging between his legs. She turned her head away frantically, too embarrassed to look at him again.

Subsequently, Ayaan saw her strange behaviour and found something amiss. Therefore, he looked at himself…

"..."

After wearing his clothes, he looked at Rebecca and asked with a shameless smile, "How was it?"

"..."

As Rebecca heard him, she turned her face away due to embarrassment, cursing inside her head, 'This shameless, bastard!'

Nevertheless, they didn't waste time standing there; both of them started to look around.

After looking around they noticed a common tree which was in abundance at this place. It was a mulberry tree; however, it was burning with different kinds of flames. Therefore, Ayaan focused his gaze at the tree and statistics about the tree appeared in front of him.

Name: Fire mulberry tree

Use: Fire mulberry could be used to increase the purity of the low-class potions.

A pleasant smile appeared on his face when he read the benefit of the tree. He was already a low-level potion maker and could use this tree in his potions later. Therefore, Ayaan packed quite a few mulberries.

After the update of the magic library, Ayaan realised that he could see the attributes of herbs. At first, he didn't realise its benefits, but when he started to practice potion-making, he became fully aware that this ability was a gift from heaven. Due to this ability, he was able to become a low-level potion maker in such a short period of time.

Later, both of them proceeded to different places. In the meantime, a few fire type beats attacked them; however, Rebecca easily defeated every one of them. Although Ayaan was following her from behind, he didn't help her. He wanted to let her practice her magic spells.

"This place is full of fire elements, if I could practice here for some time, I will reach a new comprehension of fire elements. At that time, all my fire-spells would upgrade." Rebecca excitedly talked to Ayaan.

As he heard her, a smile appeared on his face, "Don't worry, you can come at this place later as well."

It was true though, he came to this plane just for the sake of training Rebecca, he didn't want his woman to turn into a frail one. Rather, he would support her from every possible way if he could.

Eventually, Rebecca turned towards him with a serious expression, when she heard his reply. She wasn't a stupid person; it was clear that this place wasn't Aemmugar, but they were in a completely different type of world.

Teleporting from one world to another, it was as hard as ascending heaven. In the Aemmugar, there were many professional portal masters. However, there were only a few of them who could transport from one continent to another.

Due to their abilities, many clans and sects pay heavily for recruiting them. However, Ayaan was able to travel between worlds; as if it was nothing. Many thoughts came inside her but didn't ask him; because she knew, there will come a day when he would tell her everything.

I will wait for that day to come, Rebecca thought.

"Thud!"

"Thud!"

However, as they were walking vigilantly, a loud sound of something hitting the ground resounded. After that, Ayaan and Rebecca immediately became alert and tried to find the source.

Disappointingly, nothing could be seen for miles, but the sound didn't stop; instead, it's intensity increased slowly, the thuds turned into booming sounds.

"Boom!"

"Boom!"

Eventually, both of them exchanged glances; visible worry could be seen in Rebecca's eyes. On the contrary to her, Ayaan was much more relaxed and patiently waited for the enemy to arrive.

After one minute later, both of them saw a colossal beast walking towards them at a slow pace. Although its speed was looking slow, it arrived in front of the duo in just a matter of seconds.

The beast was looking like the exact copy of the dinosaurs in the movies on earth. Were these types of creatures also living on the earth, in the ancient era? A sudden thought appeared in Ayaan's head; but later, he shook his head and denied his speculation.

The beast had red cloured thick skin all over its body. Moreover, the fire was released every time it breathed from its nostrils. Finally, It's big red-eyes were looking like the personification of fire itself — Rather fearsome sight to behold.

Nonetheless, after arriving in front of the duo, the beast looked at them with disdain and contempt. It was the overlord of this region and without its permission, someone dared to intrude its land; this was a direct attack on its majestic pride, that's what the beast thought.

However, Ayaan didn't seem to be anxious about the situation. He had already checked the strength of the beast and knew that it was still in his capability to fight with it. But if he wanted to win against this beast, he had to reveal his trump card.

"Whoosh!"

Eventually, the beast released fire from its nostrils a few times, before attacking the dua with its heavy claw. Although Ayaan had the strength to fight the beats. He didn't want to take his chances just for some fun, because Rebecca was with him.

As the attack was about to land on the two, a black mist started to form around Ayaan and Rebecca and covered both of them. Simultaneously, two skeletons appeared beside him and blocked the attack of the beast easily.

"Bang!" a thunderous voice resounded in the whole area, and the ground started to shake.

Although the creature was powerful but not as powerful as his skeletons.

Afterwards, Ayaan looked at his skeletons and their states appeared in front of him which were looking exact copy of each other.

Name: Lich

Realm: 9th level high mage

Magic power: 300

Element: death

Rather simple statistics; however, it was enough to tell all the details about these two skeletons.

Moreover, these weren't skeletons anymore, because they had already evolved into "Lich". Although they were undead creatures, they had since long developed their consciousness; not highly intelligent, but enough to rival a child of eight to nine years old. Furthermore, after evolving their strength attribute again turned into magic points. Therefore, now they could use spells of death elements.

Nonetheless, these two liches were the result of his hellish training in the undead realm. Moreover, he had already crossed the boundary of the high mage since long. Now, he was at the 5th level of high-mage. If anyone else were to know about his record-breaking speed, they would die from shame.

Thereupon, he turned his attention towards the beast and ordered his "Lich" to continue their assault.

Time after time, Beast tried to block the attacks of skeletons, but due to its huge body, it wasn't able to react fast enough. Moreover, it was just a middle-grade high mage beast, not powerful enough to defeat two peak-grade high mages.

Anyways, it only took a few minutes to turn the beast full of vitality into the cold corpse.

At this time, Rebecca who was standing beside him had an expressionless face. Now, she didn't feel any shock from whatever he did; she had already turned numb after encountering so many weird things with him.
