21 Northside of the Izhale

Rebecca walked out of the bathroom with a towel in her hands, trying to dry her wet hair.

Ayaan looked at her gorgeous face became mesmerized. 'What a beauty' he complimented in his heart.

"You can compliment me openly if you want," as if knowing the thought of his mind, she said with a mischievous smile.

An embarrassed smile appeared on Ayaan's face and gave her a hollow laugh before replying, "You look beautiful."

Rebecca bowed slightly and said with a smiling face, "Thank you very much."

'Knock~ knock~.'

As they were talking, the knock resounded on the gate.

Ayaan looked towards the gate and said, "It must be a waiter, carrying breakfast for us."

He opened the gate, and a waiter was standing outside the door. He carried a trolly filled with food. It was the breakfast of the people who wanted to eat in their rooms like Ayaan and Rebecca.

After giving their food, the waiter walked away towards another room. Ayaan and Rebecca had enjoyed their breakfast together.

"So, what now?" Ayaan asked Rebecca and looked at her beautiful face.

"What now?.....I don't know." She replied with a long sigh. After losing her magic power, she lost her will to fight as well. How hard she had to work for reaching to that realm, and if she wants to gain her magic power again, she has to start over again. When she will able to take her revenge, a sad expression appeared when she thought about it.

Ayaan, sitting in front of her, saw this and immediately changed the topic, "Let's go towards Northside of the city."

Rebecca looked at him and asked with a weird expression, "Why Northside of the city? There are lots of places here, and Northside is full of wild beasts."

He looked at her face and replied, " Because we don't have anything to do, let's just hunt some beasts there. Don't tell me you want to stay in this small room all the time?"

She smiled bitterly before saying, "I will become a burden on you…."

"Shh!" before she could complete her sentence, Ayaan placed his finger on her soft lips and continued, "I will decide if you are a burden on me or not."

Without giving her a chance to speak, Ayaan walked towards the exit and said, "Let's go, it's time for you to start your magic practice again.

A sweet and warm feeling appeared in her heart when she saw how caring he was. Left no reason to reject, she followed him tightly from behind.

Both of them walked on the vast and clean street of the Izhale towards the north. There were many shops placed on the side of the road. Some were selling the beasts' parts, like fur, precious teeth of some beats, and the most important thing of the monsters, the cores.

The beasts' cores could be used to make magic weapons as well as many types of pills.

There were some shops selling weapons as well. There were many stalls for random things, but Ayaan didn't pay any attention because his destination was elsewhere.

The Northside of the city was where Ayaan needed to complete his mission and acquire the egg from the dungeon. He didn't know anything about the egg, but he knew one thing, an egg must be precious if the library was giving him a hundred credits.

Duo didn't stay anywhere and continued to walk. It took them an hour to arrive in the wild area.

"Roar!"

As they arrived, both of them heard a roar of a beast from afar. Ayaan curled his lips into a smile and looked towards Rebecca before saying, "Let's go."

A beauty nodded and followed Ayaan from behind. Ayaan secretly opened the status window and clicked on the details of the Quest.

There was nothing on the screen beside a complicated map. There were cities, forests, rivers, mountains, and even oceans on the map. But Ayaan didn't know what is this map was.

Suddenly, the map started to zoom at a particular area on the map.

The complicated map became clear slowly, a diagram of a forest appeared in front of his eyes. Two points on the map were visible, and both were glittering with two different colours. There was a green and redpointed area on the map, which was separated by a few miles.

"What are these two dots?" He asked Birdy because he didn't have any clue about those two points.

"The green mark you are seeing is your location, and the red mark is where you will complete your mission." Birdy didn't beat around the bush and explained everything in a single sentence.

As he heard the Birdy, everything on the map became clearer immediately.

"Wow! So it was like this!" He said excitedly. Rebecca, who was just behind him, heard him and looked at him with a weird expression before asking, " What are you talking about?"

Ayaan immediately came to his senses when he heard her and said hastily, " No-nothing, I was just saying, you are so beautiful, and I just realized about it."

Rebecca became embarrassed when she heard his reply, lowered her head to hide the redness of her face, and said," Anything~."

"Hahaha!" Ayaan laughed when he saw her cute reaction and felt a little nostalgic. 'When was the last time he smiled like this,' he wondered.

He looked at her and said, "Let's go. We need to walk a few miles."

"Few miles? But why? We can hunt here as well." She asked with a confused face, " The more inside we go to the forest; the more powerful beasts will become."

"Don't worry; nothing will happen. Just follow me," Ayaan said and started to walk because he didn't want to answer her questions. Rebecca didn't have any option but to follow him.

They will hear time to time howls of the beasts and booming sounds of the battles between them.

Ayaan encountered quite a few beasts but easily defeated them, which boosted his confidence even more. They continued to walk without resting for a whole two hours, but Rebecca wasn't powerful anymore like before. She was just like an ordinary person. So, she became tired after walking this long.

When Ayaan saw her tired look and the dripping sweat from her temples, he stopped for resting. After resting for half an hour, the duo continued their journey.

Rebecca was confused because she didn't know where he was going and how he knows everything in this forest. But in truth, he was getting every direction from the map and avoided most dangerous places which diagram had pointed.

Ding: the location for completing your task has been verified. You need to complete your Quest in 24 hours, or your magic power will be reduced to zero.

"What the fuck!!" his curse resounded throughout the forest. Rebecca looked at him with weird eyes but ignored him. After traveling with him, she realized this boy talks to himself.

But at this time, she also realized how carrying he was. He never left her side when he encountered beasts. She looked at his face and blushed, which made her countenance even more gorgeous. Alas, Ayaan didn't see anything, poor guy.

In front of them was a vast mountain, and on the mountain was an enormous cave. Nothing could be seen inside the cave. It was dark-black and was giving an eerie feeling. Ayaan, who was standing beside Rebecca, held her hand without even realizing himself.

"Let's go~," he said and walked towards the dark entrance of the cave. But as he entered...

'Beep!'

'Beep!'
