And Morpheous ran his hand on his back.

"It's gone Morpheous!"

Without wasting a second, he rushed towards the bathroom and turned back towards the mirror. 

Indeed, the scar was gone.

There was no sign of the burn at all.

Astonished, he walked out of the bathroom and looked at both of them.

"Does this mean…"

But before Caroline could even finish her question, Mogwai stepped ahead and muttered in a pompous tone. "It's time to flap them."

Taking a deep breath, he looked at them and closed his eyes, trying to focus, and when he opened them, they burned in the shade of amber. Flexing his muscles in the back, he gave a light jerk, but nothing happened.

Disappointed he was about to look back when he heard Mogwai say, "Try again. Try until you get them back on!"

And those words brought in an unnatural surge of energy within him, and he flexed his muscles again.
