54 Lesson Learnt - 1

Caroline knew Morpheous was different, and probably that was why she was drawn to him irrespective of the danger signs. She knew he was the fire that would burn her; nevertheless, she was drawn to him like a moth to a flame.

It was almost time for lunch, but she wasn't hungry. Sitting on her chair, she glanced at her hand, unable to believe that she could fist it. She knew that he had shown her just a glimpse of what he was, what he was capable of, but she knew that there was more to him. But for today, it was enough. It was enough that he trusted her to show a part of him, and that was all she wanted.

He didn't scare her anymore!

Her smile widened every passing minute, recollecting the moment that they had. His touch, his warm breath, his mere presence. She looked at his empty seat and then at the door, realizing she had to do something.

She sprawled the trenchcoat on herself and walked out of her chamber.
