Smooth Sailing

Bing Xue took out her zither, and under the curious gazes of many, plucked a single string.

The sound waves spread out in all directions, bouncing across the rippling waters below and spreading to every inch of the sea.

She closed her eyes, and seemed to listen for a while. A few were afraid that the sound would attract whatever had driven away, or worse, slaughtered the magical beasts in the area and readied their weapons.

However, nothing came to attack them and Bing Xue soon opened her cold eyes.

"There is no life within a thousand mile radius, so we should be fine"

Hearing this, almost everyone relaxed and put away their weapons. A few however remained vigilant, as they didn't know if they would run into any problems in the rest of their journey.

Suddenly, Sheng Tian felt a firm hand being placed on his shoulder and turned around.

"You should go get some rest," Long Chen said, "I'm sure everything will be fine"
