1 Prologue

I open my eyes and what surrounds me is a vast field of fog. Making it near impossible to make out any distinguishing characteristics in the distance. The obelisk stood mighty its shadow cascading over the land. The vivid silence giving a layer of mystery to this empty world, its black surface absorbing all light that cut through the fog.

As I get closer to it, I notice the moss that has grown up it, is ascending further then the eye can see, however, instead of the normal lush forest green the moss is a lifeless grey.

I walk towards the obelisk each step filled with confidence. The closer I get the more taken aback I am by the sheer size of it. Its height reaching the stars themselves and its majesty suppressing all opposition. The closer I get the more I feel a pressure forcing me down, each step heavier and more draining than the last.

Each step takes everything I have as exhaustion cascades throughout my body. My body is drenched in sweat, and the closer I get the more weight that is thrusted upon me, but even so I charge forward. With each step I can feel my muscles and tendons tear. As I get closer, I feel more at ease.

My feet sink into the soft earth, dirt covering my bare feet as the pressure weighs me down almost forcing me to my knees as if to make me worship. I look straight ahead as sweat drips off my brow even if my body is torn apart; I will not submit; my bones may break and my tendons my snap, but my will is unshakable.

I force myself to stand straight, each flex of the muscle and shift of the arm agonizing as each joint pops and creaks. I look up into the sky and roar my hair becoming disheveled.

I walk forward and with each step the force doubles causing my skin to turn red under the unforgivable torrent pushing down on me. My muscles swell, and my skin tightens causing it to tear.

Blood seeps out and flows down my body causing me to become lightheaded. My consciousness starts to fade, and my eye lids become heavy, slowly closing I look ahead as my vision becomes blurry. The obelisk is standing right in front of me. I reach out my hand and press against it as I do so the moss that once covered it turns to dust and is blown away.

The strange writing on the obelisk starts to glow golden. And suddenly the pressure disappears causing my knees to buckle. My hand stuck to it refusing to budge. The light becomes brighter and envelopes everything around me.

A load bang resounds throughout the heavens and earth and the light disappears leaving behind a cracked obelisk no longer holding the majesty it once did. My hand starts to sink in to it, the obelisk bending and twisting yet when touched it is still extremely solid. It starts to slowly envelop my arm and starts to pull me in further slowly covering my shoulder. I start to pull back my arm straining and veins bulging against my skin yet the harder I pull the harder it seems to pull me.

I look up as the ascending obelisk as it pulls me in covering more than half my body, it pulls me in entirely covering my whole body. the obelisk starts to rumble and close in on me, but when it touches my skin it attaches itself to me and starts to rumble harder. A sharp pain shoots throughout my entire body my bones breaking and healing over and over, my skin boiling and my eyes burning. My muscles tearing apart and repairing themselves as my whole body locks up and remains unmovable. My surroundings change the pain still there but In front of me laid a battlefield going on for miles.

Blood flowing like a river, corpses strung high and piled as tall as mountains. The stench of rot and screams of agony permeated the sky. With the sun standing at its peak, it scorched the earth causing the river of blood to form a crimson fog that covers the land below.

At the top of the tallest pile stood a figure standing as straight as a pole looking down upon the world as if he were unrivaled under the heavens and the earth. His face handsome as if chiseled from marble by the goddess of beauty herself, his hair black like a raven's feather, and his gaze full of confidence and vigor. With a wave of his hand, he sends a shockwave across the battlefield causing the earth to shake and the piles of bodies to fall apart.

He leaps from the pile sending bodies flying, as he flies through the sky at supersonic speed tearing through the air. The shockwaves from his launch and sheer speed sending waves through the rivers of blood. Nothing is capable of stopping him from moving forward.

He comes to a halt and looks down at the earth, standing in a meadow seemingly untouched by the desolation of this great war is a lone old man his face showing the ravages of time his pure white hair cascading over his face with a sword lazily dangling from his waste, and on his face lays a look of serendipity while his fingers dance across a flute. The music leaving a relaxing feeling in the air. A person could fall asleep from the atmosphere alone, a stark contrast to the bodies that surround this meadow.

Still in the air he slowly descends downwards landing gracefully on the land below. The old man removes the flute from his lips the calming music coming to an abrupt end "So, you have come Eon?" asks the old man his expression not changing in the slightest. His words carrying a sense of disillusion.

Eon looks straight ahead not uttering a single word his face showing no emotion "Soon Tregaia will be mine and the world must come to realize that the time of Nihility Artifacts is over, only I shall reign supreme!" the old man bellows his voice resonating throughout the battlefield. "You have no right to rule, no claim to the throne. You are unworthy of your position, and unworthy of your title!" Eon states, his eyes full of disgust each word carefully pronounced, with hatred emanating from each sentence. The old man cackles "Hahaha." "You say I have no claim yet you are just a bastard born from a whore in the streets. Your father may be the King, but has he acknowledged you? does he see you for more than what you are?" Says the old man laughing with each remark. Eon stares straight ahead his eyes resolute his conviction strong "For your crimes against Tregaia and the lands that reside within her boundaries I sentence you to death." Eon says his will unwavering.

Eon kicks the ground launching himself forward. With a smooth motion as if practiced for tens of thousands of times he draws his sword, the sword showing a sheen, it was as if it was polished and sharpened with extreme care simply for the art of taking a life his movements as precise as his blade. With a swing of his arm, he shouts "Void Severance!" A beam of condensed energy shoots outwards severing the air dissipating all oxygen in the surrounding atmosphere leaving nothing but the Void.

With a wave of his hand the old man breaks apart Void Severance, "Is that it? is that all the mighty Eon has to offer?" The old man says with a hint of mockery in his tone. The old man draws his sword its blade crimson and its hilt pitch black the blade looked as if it was extruding blood giving a sense foreboding.

With a wave of their arms their swords collide sending sparks flying, each force not giving the other room for error, they slash back and forth leaving deep cuts on the ground the blades dancing across each other as if two dragons were coiling around one another in a fierce battle for dominance and that is what these two men are dragons of their respective generations.

Their eyes emanating an indomitable will, with each swing of the sword the force sends shockwaves throughout the surrounding area blowing away flowers and uprooting trees. With a quick motion Eon leaps backwards leaving the old man behind, "It would appear I no longer have any choice in the matter." Eon says his voice steady and calm "Divine Ravager!" Eon shouts his voice carrying weight as if it could crush the old man.

A golden light envelops Eon shining as bright as the sun the golden light conforming to his figure, when the light dissipates what is left is Eon standing tall and mighty with golden horns extruding from his forehead and wrapped around his body are golden veins giving off an ancient and desolate energy as if to oppose the very gods that created this world of man. The golden energy sharp and overbearing cutting and warping the surrounding atmosphere leaving gravity anomalies spread about.

Eon looks ahead his eyes containing the same ancient and desolate energy "Come!" Eon shouts as he steps forward. When his foot touches the ground, the ground shakes causing the ground to split, opening up an abyss as if hell had opened up to swallow the world whole. He rushes forward jumping over the abyss and with a wave of his hand and a mighty roar Eon shouts "Divine dominance!" a palm the size of a mountain shoots out of his hand crushing the air, dominating anything that stands in its way.

The old man looks upwards his face no longer holding the confidence it held once before "You've reached Nihility completion, how is this possible? He said you were only at Nihility Birth!" The palm comes crashing down leaving nothing more than a crushed body and a giant palm shaped crater.

Suddenly a crack appears in the air ripping open space and time, "You are too powerful to be allowed to live I cannot have you putting a stop to my plans." A mysterious man says his voice coming from the crack. Eon looks upwards and jumps into the air, but before he gets even half way to the crack the mysterious man appears his hair flowing like a river, his face more beautiful than any women's and his skin void of any imperfections "You should take pride in the fact I will kill you and solace in the fact that your son and wife will be joining you soon." The mysterious man says his voice cold and calculating. With a wave of his hand, it shoots threw Eon's chest ripping his hearts to shreds "Nooooo!" I scream feeling a great sense of loss. "Interesting someone was watching; I hope you enjoyed the show." The mysterious man says while laughing.

The dream comes to an end and the darkness swallows me leaving me surrounded by nothing but black.
