8 Typical School Day

Everyone turned over and looked at Sparky. "Er.. S-Sorry!" shouted Sparky as he bowed and sat down back onto his seat. "Hahhh..." said the homeroom teacher as he shook his head. "Great to see you in full energy Sparky. How about this, Mae sit at the empty seat beside Sparky and get him to show you around the school?" he continued.

"Mmm sure.." replied Mae. Mae walked past few students in front and got towards the back row, next to Sparky. There were still several eyes on her, mesmerised by her beauty though mainly was probably because of her unusual eyes. She sat down beside Sparky, smiled at him and look towards the front.

"W-Wha-What is this? What kind of test is god putting me through! Wait this means that I'll spend my entire school year with her?" thought Sparky in his mind as he looked at her. He blushed. "Damn.. she actually looks pretty good. WAIT WHAT AM I THINKING?" he thought again as he scratched and his head.

*THUD*

"Sparky do you need to go to the infirmary?" asked the homeroom teacher. "Ah, no sir! I'm good," said Sparky. He heard some of his classmate smirking at him. Quickly, he raised his book slightly to cover his embarrassed face. "How I wish for this class to end faster..." said Sparky in his mind.

The bell for lunch goes off soon enough. Sparky and Mae headed out of the classroom as Sparky showed her around the school. He explained to her that she should join a school club to make her school life more fun and more about how making friends is important which is ironic as Sparky does not have much friends himself.

"Clubs... I wonder which school I join..." murmured Mae. Sparky looked at her and thought for a bit. He looked up towards the sky and looked at her again. "Sky... sun... planets... Astronomy!" said Sparky. "What do you think about that? You get to explore and know more about the universe and see planets and stars! They are magnificent!" he exclaimed happily.

Mae looked at him and smiled a little. "That will do I guess," said Mae. "S-she smiled!" thought Sparky in his mind while blushing a little. "L-let's go for lunch!" said Sparky as he led Mae towards the canteen. They ate their lunch together and went back to the classroom.

As they reached the door, Sparky felt someone pulling him from his shirt collar. "Hey we need to talk" said the voice before pulling Sparky out of the class. Mae looked at them confused and went back to her seat. Several girls gathered around her and asked about her.

"Where are you from?" "Wow! Your eyes are beautiful!" "Half?" "Did something happen to ur body?" "Damn, metallic body parts are cool!" "What happened to part of ur face?"

Mae was bombarded with questions which she chose to ignore and look out of the window. "What should I have for dinner..?" she thought in her mind. On the other hand there was Sparky, being dragged towards the corridor, surrounded by few of his male classmates.

"Care to explain?" "Why are you so close with her?" "Introduce me to her!" "Any idea what's with the robotic stuff on her body?" "Stay away from her! You don't fit her" "Answer us!"

"I'm not even suprised that I'm bombarded with all these nonsense," thought Sparky in his mind. "Is there anyway I could run off?" he continued thinking. He looked around. "AH WHATS THAT?!" shouted Sparky while pointing at the door in front of him.

Everyone turned around and looked. "Now!" thought Sparky in his mind as he sneaked away as quick as possible. He went back into class and sat at his seat. "Guess you are popular here..?" asked Mae.

"NO! OF COURSE NOT! D-DON'T GET IT WRONG!" shouted Sparky nervously. Mae nodded her head and turned back to the front. "Oh how I wish school could end right away," muttered Sparky to himself.

Soon, the bell rang and the class resumed as usual. Throughout the class, Sparky did not concentrate much and kept on glancing at Mae. Eventually, he decided to lay his head down to cool off but accidentally dozed off.

Mae looked at him, sleeping peacefully at his seat. She lifted up his book and placed his book vertically on the desk, covering his sleeping face and smiled a little.

*Typical school bell sounds*

Sparky awoken from his small nap, "did I doze off? Ah well time to go home!".He walked down the staircase and out of school. After leaving the school compound, he ran towards a dark street where he got teleported back to the headquarters.

"FINALLY! THIS DAY WAS THE LONGEST ONE THROUGHOUT THE YEAR!" complained Sparky as soon as he entered the building. Scar was at the lobby waiting for him to get back. "Ah you are back. Stop complaining and get to shower. Change into your usual clothes and we are heading out for another mission," said Scar with a slightly serious tone.

With that said, Sparky went back into his room and did what he was told to. Then, he went towards the lobby to look for Scar. Scar was standing at the mission monitor, looking at the information regarding the mission they are about to execute. "Scar! What mission do we have this time?" asked Sparky curiously.

"Remember the place where we fought Mae? The place where you executed your first mission," said Scar. Sparky nodded. "There, another creature appeared. Rather than another mythical creature that we expected, what appeared was rather amusing. It is a Carnotaurus." he continued.

Sparky was blank for a second in a state of confusion. "Isn't that a dinosaur?" he questioned. "Yep and now we are going dinosaur hunting," said Scar as he went to take his weapons. "If you are done asking questions, let's go," he continued.

"Ah sure!" said Sparky as he took his weapon and ran towards the floating platform.
