1 The Discovery

"What's this?" Sparky questioned himself in his mind as he picked up a mysterious bracelet. He wore the bracelet on his hand and bright lights began to emerge from within the bracelet.

It was just a typical night for Sparky. He was an introverted boy that always has to wear a hood whenever he leaves his room as he is uncomfortable around others. Since young, he had been living with a caretaker as both his parents were dead due to an accident but, two months ago, the caretaker has passed on as well.

That night, Sparky left for an excursion towards the convenience store late at night as he ran out of junk foods. As he was about to reach the convenience store, he saw a bracelet that was on the ground in between an alley. In curiosity, he picked up the bracelet.

Sparky fell towards the ground as the light that emerged from the bracelet was so bright that it had practically blinded Sparky for a few seconds. Soon, the lights began to dim down and as Sparky opened his eyes back, he was stunned for a second. There were numbers and blue shapes in his vision.

"What in the world is this!" shouted Sparky. He closed his eyes and opened them again to realize that it wasn't a dream. He turned around and looked at a passer-by. At that moment, he noticed that the blue shapes are giving detailed analyzation of the person. It has that person's name, age, occupation and practically anything you could think of. Due to that, a spark of curiosity grew in Sparky's mind.

As soon as he got back on his feet, he heard a voice coming from behind him. "Hey, welcome to the Heaven's Chevaliers!" said the voice in a really friendly manner. Sparky turned around and notice a teenage boy who was about his age. "Woah, you startled me!" said Sparky. "Who are you?" he continued.

"Ariton. You can call me Ari. I'm the leader of Heaven's Chevaliers. The bracelet has allowed you to officially become the member of our group. From now, you would live your life on as a chevalier and execute missions along with us!" said Ariton with a smile on his face.

"Wait what? Cheva-what? What's with all these blue number and shapes that appears in my vision anyways? Well, I wouldn't say its not interesting but it's still weird!" questioned Sparky. Instantly, Ariton pulled Sparky towards the alley and said "Well, come with me!" Both of them, disappeared within a blink of an eye as soon as they stepped their foot into the alley.

Soon after a few seconds, they appeared in a huge building. "Eh? Where am I? What is going on?" asked Sparky as he began looking and turning around in circles. "Welcome to the Heaven's Chevalier's hub! This is where all the missions and meetings are given and held," said Ariton. "You are given two choices now. You could choose to join us and execute missions or choose to be executed! Make a choice!" he continued.

"This isn't even a negotiation!" Sparky thought in his mind and said "I-I'll join for now." After some small conversation, Ariton brought Sparky into an empty room at the 5th floor. "Here is your room for now," said Ariton. In a split second, Ariton realized something. The room was an exact copy of his. "What? How? Huh?" said Ariton while pointing at the room and looking at Ariton with a confused face.

"Well it's time for some explanation," said Ariton. He paused for a second and continued "There had been some odd things happening around the globe. Countless of demonic creatures are rising and beginning to spread. Those creatures would collect life sources from living things and begin to cause a havoc. Eventually if this continues, the entire living being would be wiped out. So, our research team had been researching and gathering people to help out in this mission of stopping and destroying them."

Sparky scratched his head and asked "Then, why did u call me here? I am just a regular shut-in neet!" "Rh-null blood. It is known as one of the rarest blood type in the humanity. It produces an incredible amount of life source to the owner and the surrounding. Therefore, we had been gathering people that has this kind of blood from all around the world here. It would be easier for people with this kind of blood to deal with these creatures as your body are much more stronger," explained Ariton.

"But as a side effect, it poses a huge risk for the owners to go out and deal with missions and things that has high risk of injury as their blood are ridiculously hard to obtain," he added on. After that, Sparky was brought onto a different facility where he was told that he would be practicing using his bracelet's powers here.

He was told that his bracelet was a prototype known as BXMT-18. The bracelet would enable people to see the stats of any surrounding living being to allow the user to know whether the living being had been infected by the creatures. The bracelet also had many locked features which Sparky was told to unlock by completing missions and the criteria of the feature.

"First, this bracelet allows the user to fire strong energy rays towards the opponent and create an energy shield. Put your right hand straight and palm facing forward as well. Next put your left hand on your wrist. Imagine you are pushing the air forward and try it.," said Ariton.

Sparky used all his might and did exactly what he was taught. At the next second, He found himself firing a source of energy towards the opposite side. He was stunned and surprised that he would be able to do such a thing in his life. "Wow, I thought these would only happen in games and animes!" he thought in his mind.

All of a sudden, the red emergency light began to flash. "Attention all HC members. Get to street 47 immediately. There are some creatures lurking in that area and are beginning to get out of control. Requesting all members to get to the lobby and begin your mission. Over," the speaker announced.

"Well, its time for your first mission isn't it?" said Ariton. Sparky looked at Ariton and smiled. His heart begin throbbing really quickly with excitement. He was scared but he seemed to be beginning to like this as it is not everyday you could fire lasers! "Let's go!" shouted Sparky as he ran towards the lobby along with Ariton.
