6 Aronora Depths

"Spark, keep calm. Put ur foot forward and ...RUN!" shouted Scar towards Sparky while running towards him to assist him. The long black shadow smashed towards the ground, creating a huge impact which blew off nearby trees and made a hole in the ground. "Woah, that was close!" said Sparky as he grabbed and held onto a tree's branch with his right hand. He flung himself up and sat on the branch. Scar and Ariton followed up behind him and jumped onto the tree branch as well.

At this moment, the shadow finally revealed itself. It was a long giant serpent. It's eyes were bloody red and as if it was filled with murderous intents. The long body of it was in shades of green, blending into the surrounding of the forests. The bushes, trees and grasses have made the perfect hiding spot for this beast!

"That's a Titanoboa but this one is larger than normal in scale! If I'm not wrong, it should be reaching up till 12metres long but this one should be about 20!" stated Ariton.

"Wait does a snake of this kind even exist? I never read nor heard about them from my school textbooks!" said Sparky with a shocked face.

"As if this kind of reptile would appear in school textbooks, rather they shouldn't. Titanoboas are noted to be extinct since several million years ago. Never thought I would have a chance to see it up close!" mentioned Scar. "Anyways we don't know how this creature is here but we do know that we need to get rid of it as soon as possible!" he continued.

All three of them took out their weapons and got ready. Sparky took out his sword while Scar prepared his fist and Ariton took out a pair of handguns. In a matter of seconds the three of them jumped towards the creature.

Sparky striked first with his sword. He pulled his sword above his head and stroke it down with all his might. A magical shield appeared in front of him blocking his blow. He continuously flinging his sword straight down towards it. Instantaneously, the Titanoboa threw his tail towards Sparky and he was knocked back towards the trees. Ariton jumped from behind and fired streaks of bullets towards the creature but all of them were deflected. "What a troublesome one this is!" said Ariton.

"Ariton! Spark! Move over! Burn in the flame, Release Scorch Flames!" shouted Scar as he fired the flames towards the creature. The Titanoboa threw his tail against the the flame which caused an explosion. Smoke cleared away and Scar saw some scratches on this Herculean beast and a yellow light emerged from it.

By instinct, Sparky and Ariton got further away from the Titanoboa. Scar stood a little closer to observe. As the yellow light disappeared, the scratches disappeared along with it leaving the Titanoboa in a top condition.

"Are you serious? How can we defeat a beast like this then?" questioned Scar after telling Sparky and Ariton about what he had observed. Nevertheless, they charged ahead at this creature and everything happened as if it was in a loop. "My stamina and magical powers are gonna run out at this point!" mentioned Sparky as he panted from attacking so much.

Once more, Scar leaped towards the beast and naturally got knocked back again but this time he was hit by it's head. At this moment he noticed a sparkle coming from underneath the reptile's long green neck. "Is it what I thought it is?" mumbled Scar under his breath before he crashed onto trees behind him.

"SCAR!" yelled Sparky as he ran towards him with Ariton followed up behind. "No worries, I'm fine and guess what I noticed? I'm not sure if that's the case but I've got a plan. Listen....." said Scar as he sat up carefully to not further worsen his injuries.

"Are you sure? Well I believe in you anyways so let's get on to it!" said Sparky, agreeing onto the plan. "This might be risky but it's better than no plan and what you said might be true so count me in as well. Open your communication system that was implanted previously in the bracelet, " said Ariton. The three of them got up and went in separate places to prepare for the plan.

Each of them jumped and leaped onto different trees which surrounds the creature. The Titanoboa was blending into the bushes and trees, making it incredibly hard to see though it's glowing red eyes were very visible if focused on. It was on a lookout for the three of them, looking attentively at its surroundings. Scar brought the bracelet close to his mouth. "On my count. 3.... 2.... 1!" said Scar through the bracelet.

"Got that!" said Sparky as he jumped down from the tree as he held his sword out, towards the ferocious beast. Immediately, the beast went striking head first towards him. He held his sword tight and stroke it down, and once again the magical shield has appeared to protect the beast.

"Pzzt""Pzzt". As Sparky tried his best to break through the shield, sparks of electric gathered at his palms where he held his sword. The electric were gathered around the sword, fusing with it, but were eventually gone. "HAAAA!" yelled Sparky, cracking the magical shield slightly before getting hit away towards the ground. "Gaahhh!"

"Now! Shoot!" shouted Scar. Ariton appeared behind Sparky and shot the creature's eye as he made a somersault and landed on the ground to get Sparky.

"RAHHHHHH!" shrieked the Titanoboa. "As I thought, the magical shield can only appear once at a time and it would divert all its attention towards that spot to trigger it," said Scar. "Now that its weakened, this should work now! Burn it all, release scarlet flame!" continued Scar, releasing flames bigger than before. Smoke emerged, covering up the entire area.

"Did we do it?" asked Sparky as he climbed up slowly using Ariton as a support. The smoke cleared and the Titanoboa was laying in the mist of it, seared with black burns. "Spark, I'll be lending your sword," said Scar and he went towards it's neck and cut off the shiny object he seen earlier. It was similar to the object which was on Mae's neck. He handed the object to Ariton.

"Notify about the HQ about the thing we witnessed and tell them to prepare the research facility to see about this object," said Ariton. "Let's head back for now, Sparky is out already," he continued, pointing at Sparky who was lying on the ground. "Yea, I'll carry him," replied Scar. They went back towards the border and teleported back towards the entrance of the HQ.
