1 Chapter One - Tomato Soup

A small boy lays in his bed, asleep. It is 2:30 pm on a Tuesday. This boy is eighteen. Still in school. Nevertheless, this is our protagonist, Chadathan. His parents couldn't decide between Chad and Jonathan, so they chose both. Both of his parents' names are Kyle. Anyways, he is about to wake up.

"I have woken up"

He has woken up.

"Aw man, I'm late for school again!? Better get ready…"

He begins his day as he does any other day; with a bowl of soup. Today, however, something's different. He finds no soup in his bowl, but a note.

≈You feel the heat of my body against your own. It is a lie.≈

"Lol, that's weird. I guess I'm not eating."

It is unknown the reason Chadathan holds soup to such a high prestige that he won't eat any other foods first. A reason he may not even know himself. It could be stubbornness. It could be routine. It could be that he forgets he's rich every morning, and does in fact have a myriad of other available food options at his disposal. His father found oil in Idaho, and his mother's an heiress. This is why he lives in a house on his own, even though he certainly should not. It is but one of many.

Chadathan has now arrived at school. It is 3.07. School ends at 3:30.

"Ey Chadathan, what's up?"

This is Chadathan's devoted friend, Plot Setup. Plot Setup has been friends with Chadathan since they were fresh babes. They both have every class together, which is one class. That class is learning.

"I got this note instead of soup and I'm pretty pissed but it's cool haha."

"Attention!'

Chadathan's teacher, Mrs. Abecedary, stands at the front of the classroom with a student beside her Chadathan does not recognize. Chadathan does not recognize his students normally. However, this time is different. This student is different.

"We have a new student with us today. Would you like to tell us your name?"

The new kid steps forward. He is wearing a cape as well. Two capes.

"My name is Campari Umbra. I advise you to not question me further. Consequences may arrive. Dire consequences."

Campari then leaves the classroom in the middle of his introduction.

Plot Setup grabs Chadathan's attention by stabbing his notebook.

"Lol that's a knife."

"So, π, whaddya think of the new kid?"

Π is Chadathan's nickname, because he is both infinite and random.

"I think he took my soup."
