8 Chapter 7

The plane had just landed and we were now waiting for Seb to pick us up as I had received a text message from him earlier while we were at the plane, that he was already here. Since we took Joe with us when we went to Disney, father told me to also bring him with me as he was my driver/ bodyguard and knowing Seb he would have flown commercially and alone.

Father did take most of the bodyguards as the ones who were to be with us would come later on during the day.

"Uncle Seb" I heard my son shouting and when I turned I saw him running towards a familiar man.

"Hey, there champ so how's your trip?"

And that's how they began their conversation forgetting that we were also present and we had to go.

"It was fun, I saw Leo, Donatello, Mickey, and Ralph and they are soooo huuuugeeee"

At that, I chuckled so did Seb and if you haven't noticed from his excitement, Kyle is a huge fan of the TMNT 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' animation.

"Ahem, excuse me brother, if you haven't noticed I am also present and that boy isn't here by himself" I interrupted

"Woman I don't know you and I hate you," he said huffing and rolling his eyes at me, now what did I do?

"Okay, now what did I do to you brother"

"So now you remember I am your brother, traitor"

"Seb, what did I do?" I asked him the second time

We were now walking towards the car where he had parked, Kyle in his arms and Joe carrying or heavy bags while I helped him carry the light ones.

"You just had to open your mouth to father and make him force me to come join you, I wasn't able to speak as he kept cutting me off, he was like 'son I want you to join your sister for the party and I don't want you to say no or I will chop you myself, I don't want her there by herself'. I grumbled and I called him old, annoying and stupid unintentionally but he heard me and now he isn't even planning on staying in China that long because he wants to come back and fuck me up and all because of you"

He said almost shouting. we were now attracting a lot of attention and my son was not helping as he was enjoying the bickering and shouting match between us, one could also tell that Joe was also enjoying.

"My fault, I am not the one who put words in your mouth or controlled you like a puppet to a point you called father stupid, it's your own fault. Honestly can't wait to see him come back and whoop your ass" I said laughing and this just fuelled his annoyance

"so you find joy in my pain and dismay just because your grown-ass self cannot stay safe that I am forced to be here, how about I just leave and let you stay and attend the party on your own, actually I should just leave and go back to London"

"Great idea, just do that and I will be telling father and I need not to tell you what will happen, do I? hmmmm"

We were shouting at each other that I did not notice that we were already in front of the car and the entire luggage was already in the car. I continued staring at my brother with Kyle's help waiting for his answer, he knew if he left my son and I then he would be in so much trouble and his love for us was greater than his annoyance towards me.

"Kathy I swear you're the evilest woman on this earth, god I pity any male who dares to come to your life but why do you do this to me?" he was now pouting

"Look I have done nothing wrong, you refused to come to Disney with us so we just want to spend time with you, isn't that right Kyle?"

I directed the last question to my son who was now starting to drift to sleep, he just nodded with his eyes closing, and he looked soo cute.

"I missed you guys too. Looks like this little man is tired, you too so how about we go home and I let you two rest before the big day tomorrow."

"Don't even remind me about tomorrow"

I told him before drifting off to sleep.

I woke up when I felt Kyle shaking me and calling me, I did not want to wake up so I just groaned and turned away from him, bad idea because when I just thought he left I felt him jumping up and down on the bed beside me. I spoke up

"Kyle, what do you want?"

"Mommy I'm hungry and I don't know if there's anybody else in the house"

"Did you try calling out for your uncle?"

He remained quiet so I knew he didn't call for him so checked the time and it was 6.00 am. What the... I almost screamed as it was morning already. I sighed and got out of bed with Kyle in my arms as we went around looking for the kitchen.

Neither of us has been to this house except for Seb who was always up and about the countries.

"Excuse me, mam"

I turned towards the voice and I saw a house help looking at me

"Hi good morning and please call me Kathy, what is your name?"

"I'm Suzzy" she replied back

"So Suzzy do you know where the kitchen is?"

She nodded and motioned for me to follow her which I did when we entered the kitchen I saw a man in chef uniform cooking and the smell was heavenly and there and then I knew my stomach was excited.

"John, madam and her son are awake and I think they are hungry"

Suzzy informed the man, so his name is John. I am not very good at remembering names but I will have to.

"Oh, good morning miss, please have a seat and I will serve you"

Kyle and I took a sit, immediately we were served. When we were almost done, was when Seb decided to grace us with his presence and I tell you this man has no shame, he walked into the kitchen shirtless just his sweatpants on. Boy was he attracting attention from the young female house helps; poor girls don't know he is gay.

"Morning family"

"Morning uncle"

"Morning brother"

"The both of you are up early, why?"

Is he really serious he put us to bed so he should know we ate nothing, this idiot, he is lucky Kyle answered him.

"We were hungry, uncle"

"Okay, so Kathy our outfits have already been decided on and chosen for us, there are people who will come to help"

"Father did say the theme was purple and black so what am I wearing?"

"Good Lord Kathy, do I look like I am the one dressing you, I don't know just like how I'm also clueless"

"Mom, uncle where are you going to, are you planning to leave me here all alone?"

"oooh no buddy you will not be left behind because you will be coming with us"

"Excuse me; he is not coming with us"

I almost shouted, I turned to Kyle and asked him to excuse us and thank god he left without a fuss, from there Seb started our argument with the reasons of allowing and not allowing Kyle to go to which Seb won at the end and my son would be coming with us.

So here I am hours later in my room getting dressed for the event while Seb and Kyle are in his room getting dressed. I was not allowed to look at myself while they are working on me.

"All done you can look now"

Wow, this is not me, I wore a purple strapless sheath with high halter cape with high slits on both sides, a black 4-inch heel and a Smokey eye look with nude lipstick and my hair was left in waves and flowing on my back. I was lost in my own world that I did not hear when everyone left and Seb walking in.

"Wow sister, not bad, you sure will be turning a lot of heads tonight"

"Don't even remind me, I thought I would be able to disappear midst the crowd as I would wear a simple dress but nooo, they had to put me in this, I am DOOMED"

I spoke to him fake crying but the guy had no remorse as he was laughing at me clutching his abdomen, shame on him.

"Mom you look pretty"

"Thanks, baby," I said to my son who I just noticed walking in.

Just like Seb, he was dressed in a black tux, white shirt and a purple tie that matched my dress. We left the house and immediately walked towards the limo where Joe as patiently waiting for us, in the car Seb handed us our masks. Both our masks were gold and knowing him he wanted to go all out and be unique.

Since most men would be in black he decided on the gold wolverine mask, for me a golden very sheik, unique mask and for Kyle just a basic plain black as he wanted it simple.

A few minutes' drive and we were at the venue, paparazzi were everywhere, and I guess it was finally time for the Anderson siblings to be introduced.

Seb was the first one out and he came to my side and offered his hand when the door was opened, Kyle followed me out and Seb picked him up and carried him.

"Wow such a cute family, the man is lucky to have such a beautiful wife"

I frowned and 'yuck' Seb and I, I guess he also heard the person because he immediately turned to me and mouthed 'disgusting,' same feeling brother.

We walked in but suddenly my heart felt heavy and I was trembling, Seb noticed it and he hugged me with his side as Kyle was on his other arm.

"Hey relax I know why you are tensed, they are here, look"

He whispered in my ear and pointed towards a small group, even with a mask on I still knew him and how he makes my body react to him was enough proof.

"I didn't even see them until you pointed in their direction, I just had a heavy feeling. Great, now Earl is looking back at us, what should we do?"

"We have to go and introduce ourselves remember they don't know who we are, father was the host and he isn't here, we are"

"But Seb, Kyle's with us, we should just stay clear from them"

I tried reasoning with him but all my ramblings fell on deaf ears as Seb was already pulling me towards the Whites.
