11 THE OUTING (PART TWO)  

I stood in front of the mirror, checking out myself for the last time. I look like a princess pull out from a animated series. I couldn't believe i look this beautiful, thank to my crazy friend who insisted i put some make up on.

"Isn't this too much?!" Feeling self conscious.

"Excuse me! This is just the tip of the iceberg, baby girl... Wait till next time." She declared feeling impress by my transformation.

"There is no next time..." Just then the door bell rang.

"Oh my Ggggg!!! He's here." She declared jumping up and down excitedly.

"Will you calm down...am the one going out."

"Have calm down... you may lead the way." She relax, taking a deep breath.

I walked reluctantly to the door, i stood there feeling nervous to open it. Then the ever energetic opener Kathryn, pull the door open revealing clare charming face.

"Oh my Ggggg!!! Someone also put alot of effort in his look." She said hitting my shoulder lightly.

"Hello girls." He greeted revealing his sparkling set of teeths. " May i be excuse with this beautiful damsel."

"You may! She blurt out before i even move a muscle. "Please her curfew is eight on the dot."

Like seriously, is she my mum. And what those she mean my eight, i didn't plan on staying that long.

"I will make sure she's back before you know it." He said confidently as he grab my right hand and pull me towards him.

"Have a lovely day."

"We will." I took the initiative to reply this time and walk towards the car with Clare.

"You look amazing." He whispered into my ear.

"Thanks."

He opened the door for me like a gentleman and made his way to the driver seat and drove us away.

Time spend with clare was amazing, contrary to what i had expected. I never knew he was the talkative type, him and Kathryn will really make a perfect couple. After making sure we paint they whole town red, we ended our day at the beach. It was so amazing, they way the breeze blew my hair, it felt like am on top of the world.

"So how do you feel now?"

"To be honest, it was so nerve wracking thinking of an outing with you." I felt guilty and started splitting out my inner thought. "But you prove me all wrong...this is amazing."

"Am happy i was able to change your perspective about me." I could feel the joy and victory in his words, and am happy i indulge that in him. "Wanna do this again."

"It will be wonderful."

I was so tired when i got home, my legs felt numb. Walking round the beach for the first time was so tiring. I walked in, meaning to relax on my bed, when i was welcome with a big hug. I can't believe she hasn't gone home yet.

"How was your date?! She asked excitedly.

"Nothing out of ordinary." Me trying hard to keep the conversation short.

"I want details." She insisting i talk.

"Am sorry, am really tired...if you will excuse me, i need rest." Trying hard to escape the conversation.

"You guys didn't keep to the curfew... Was the outing that fun?! She trying hard to pull out as many information from me as she can get.

"Like seriously! Can't i have a bit of a privacy." I was so irritated by her constant questions.

"Okay, we will have this conversation tomorrow."

That's not what i mean, I don't want to have this conversation at all. Why can't she leave me and my personal life. Oh God! So frustrating. I walked into my room and collapse on the bed, then she joined me a few minutes later.

"Aren't you eating?

"I ate out."

"What did you eat?"

"Spaghetti!!

"At his house or a restaurant?

"Is this some kind of interrogation?! I was really getting pissed by her constant questions.

" Common... wouldn't you fill me in, i made some effort on this outing too, remember!" Trying to justify her actions.

"Am sleepy." I wasn't ready for a chit chat this night.

"Okay, atleast tell me the restaurant." I couldn't care less about her questions, i pull the blanket over my ears and pleaded for sleep to come.

"We will continue this conversation tomorrow." Being persistent till the end.

After few minutes of total silence i moved to see if she was awake, and like a scene in an horror movie, she lay down looking back at me. I didn't know how to react, i just pull the blanket down and faced her.

"What?!

"After all i did, i think i deserve to know...in detail how the outing went." She explained.

"Okay fine, tomorrow." I said in defeat and cover myself with the blanket again.

"Yes!! I heard her excited voice. "Can't wait."

She is just so unbelievable something, what a clown. Before I know it, all that excitement die down, and both of us fell asleep peacefully till the next day were i fill her in about everything that happened between me and Clare.
