2 2. Not the First Enemy Set to Fail

Zhang Cho glared at Fei Ling. Fei Ling didn't glare back because she thought that it was childish to have a glaring contest with a student who was simply pissed off because she didn't give her time to answer the question. "I've told you my rules, Ms. Zhang. It's your fault for not reading in the time-frame I've given you," Fei Ling tells Zhang. Zhang growled at Fei Ling's answers. This woman! She thought in anger. She couldn't believe the woman sitting in her desk in front of her.

"You are horrible. I will get you fired!" Zhang shouted at Fei Ling. Fei Ling smirked at the threat. She gazed into Zhang's angry hazel eyes.

"You're playing with fire, little girl," Fei Ling warns Zhang, but she didn't care about the warning as she glared at Fei Ling.

"I don't care about your connections. My family will get rid of you by my begging," Zhang tells Fei Ling, who released a small giggle.

"Little girl, you don't know who you're messing with," Fei Ling again warns Zhang. Zhang lost her temper at Fei Ling's uncaring attitude.

"You bitch! You're just a random commoner!" Zhang shouted and Fei Ling immediately pinned Zhang to the wall by slamming her hands on both sides of Zhang's head. Zhang gave a small yelp of fright.

"Listen here and listen good, I am NOT some "random commoner". Your parents know me. They work for me," Fei Ling tells Zhang. Zhang gave her a glare.

"Prove it, you delusional woman," Zhang tells Fei Ling. Fei Ling gave the younger girl a smirk. She called Zhang's family.

"Yes, Ms. Ling?" Zhang recognized the voice of her mother and she was shocked at how much respectful she sounded.

"Your daughter is disrespectful. You've promised me a daughter who would be willing to work with me," Fei Ling tells Mrs. Zhang. Zhang immediately recognized Fei Ling from a conversation that her parents had with her. They told her to respect her and not make her even slightly irritated. Zhang paled up as she watched Fei Ling finished her conversation with her worker, which is her mother. Zhang felt the piercing glare that Fei Ling had and she felt like she could match the woman's glare. Only, she couldn't handle the woman's ferocious nature.

"You're a monster," she tells Fei Ling. Fei Ling gave Zhang a cold smile.

"I'm a monster because all of my enemies have blamed me for their failures. The cycle will not break. It will continue and you, Zhang, see me as your enemy," she tells Zhang.

"Of course, I see you as my enemy. You're a bitch," she tells Fei Ling.

"You're an even bigger bitch than I am," Fei Ling tells Zhang. Zhang growled at Fei Ling.

"You don't deserve your teaching occupation," she tells Fei Ling, who simply shrugged her shoulders. The girl could feel her anger increasing. She didn't want to ruin her image by snapping at the already infuriating woman.

"My job isn't to care about how you feel about me. My job is to teach you the way real life truly hurts. If you don't like the way I'm teaching, tough shit," she tells Zhang. Zhang almost exploded on the woman right then and there, but she held back.

"You're just a English teacher," Zhang says, leaving Fei Ling's office. Her sentence stuck with Fei Ling for only a few minutes, but she then forgot about the girl's words as she deemed them unimportant. The girl is being judgmental. She doesn't understand. She doesn't even know how the real world truly is. Everything's not just for money now. Fei Ling thought.

Fei Ling gazed down at roll call sheet and her gaze fell on only one name. "Ying Yue," she read out loud to herself. Fei Ling then remembered that she had helped the girl out with Zhang. "It doesn't matter what she does now," Fei Ling says as she turned away from the paper. She felt uneasy as soon as she had said that. It wasn't as if she wanted Zhang to do anything. It would be very stupid of her to do something to her classmate. The police will catch her. Fei Ling tried to reassure herself, but as she went home for the day, she couldn't help but feel like something was going to happen to Ying Yue.

The next morning, Fei Ling was listening to the news of the day when Ying Yue's name was mentioned. It grabbed her attention. "Ying Yue was kidnapped from school yesterday evening, but the school's footage show that the she was grabbed by another student," the news reporter reported. Fei Ling immediately turned off her television. She suddenly felt sick to her stomach, but she managed to calm herself. The girl wants me to overact, but I will not. I will find her and probably kill her before her parents grow up and beat the living shit out of their daughter for her own good. Fei Ling thought. Normally, she couldn't bring herself to hit children, but Zhang was a soon-to-be criminal with her personality.

Because Fei Ling was given how Zhang would act, she wondered why her parents never forbidden her from the area she was about to go into. When she walked into the area, her cold aura suddenly turned even more colder. "Zhang Cho!" She shouted, her voice echoing in the empty place. The place was a wreck and it was very obvious that Zhang wasn't going to clean up the mess. The area was Zhang's hangout house. Zhang walked out off the door with Ying Yue in her arms.

"So I was right. You did come," Zhang giggled evilly with Ying Yue in hold. Ying Yue gave Fei Ling a look of fear and Fei Ling knew that she was too innocent to understand.

"Let her go," Fei Ling didn't shout. She didn't want to waste any time with the insane girl. Zhang Cho giggled and she revealed a gun on her person. She aimed the gun at Fei Ling and she pulled Ying Yue closer to her, keeping one arm wrapped around her waist. "Hey, hey, you're going to add murder to your list of charges as well?" Fei Ling asked Zhang. The girl smirked at Fei Ling.

"I'm not going to add murder to my list. I'm going to add double homicide on the list," Zhang threatened. Fei Ling heard Ying Yue scream a little and she gazed up to see Zhang aiming the gun at Ying Yue.

"You monster!" Fei Ling felt enraged. She felt enraged because she knew that Zhang Cho was nothing but a criminal now. She would go to jail for aggravated kidnapping and double homicide if she successfully manages to shoot us too. Fei Ling thought. She didn't want Ying Yue to die. Despite her heartlessnes, she didn't want a child to die.
