Catching Up

"We are here."

The drivers words brought her back from her thought and that's when she saw where she was,  a very beautiful mansion

She opened the door and stepped down.

While the driver walked around the car and opened the back door for Tang Xiao.

As soon as Tang Xiao stepped down he made his way towards the building and to the front door, and Tangning trailed behind him.

Getting inside the house Mrs Wang welcome him.

"Welcome sir"  Mrs Wang greeted

"Where is miss? "   Tang xiao asked immediately without responding to the greetings.

"She's upsta..... "   she tried to answer but her words were soon cut short.

"I'm here"   Shi Qingxia answered from upstairs cutting Mrs Wang short of the answer she was about to give.

As she answered everyone's attention was directed at her.

She was still standing on the stairs, she hasn't noticed Tang ning, but Tang ning has noticed her and realised that she is looking better than she expected.

All this while Shi Qingxia attention has been on Tangxiao and same with Tangxiao's, they were not saying anything to each other but their eyes were saying a thousand things.

Realising that they were not alone,she  averted her gaze from him and her eyes landed in Tang ning.

At first she didn't think it would be her , what would Tangning be doing here?,  how could she escape from the club? but when she  saw the smile beaming from her face, she realised that it's her.

"Tang Ning? "  she called out.

Tang Ning nodded at her to confirm to her that she is the one.

Immediately she ran down the stairs towards Tang ning and hugged her.

"I can't believe it's you" she said.

"How is this possible ?"  she asked.

"I'm free"  Tangning answered smiling.

"How?"   Qinxia asked.

They were both engross in each other that they completely forgot about the people around them until  Mrs Wang told them the dinner will be served shortly.

"I will go change first, I will be down soon"  Tang xiao said as he made his way up to his room.

And Shi Qingxia gestured Tang ning towards the seats.

"I can't believe this,  I can't believe you are here,  I never thought I would be able to see you again "  she said.

"Me too" Tangning replied.

"Miss, dinner is served"  Mrs Wang disturbed their conversation.

"We are coming "  Qinxia answered.

"Let's go to the dinning table,  so you can eat something."

They both stood up and headed towards the table.

Tang Xiao came back almost immediately and joined them for dinner.

After dinner Tangxiao not wanting to disturb the two because he knew they had alot of catching up to do, he stood up and headed straight to his study so he can finish the remaining work he brought back home from his office.

While Shi Qingxia led Tang ning to her own room and they both took turns to shower.

After they had showered, they were both seated on the bed.

"I think it's time you tell me how it's possible you are here"  Qingxia said.

"I think you already know"  she replied

"Know what? "  Si Qinxia asked

"I don't understand,  since you are here with Tang Xiao I believe he would have told you everything "  Tangning said

"Everything like what?,  I don't get , he didn't say anything to me "

Scanning her friend's face she asked

"What happened? " Qinxia asked

" The club no longer exist " Tang ning said

"What,  how is that even possible? "

"Tang xiao " Tang ning stated.

"What?"

"I said it happened because of Tangxiao ...Emilo is dead,  the police shot him"

"What? , that's good for him he deserves it"  Qingxia said.

"Everyone is free now... I wanted to see you before I go back home,  I wanted to make sure you are okay, but seeing you today and seeing how he treats you, I know we made the right decision "  she said.

"I'm happy , he treats me well"  Qingxia said

"I can see that"  she replied.

"You said he should have told me something,  what is it he didn't tell me? "  Qinxia asked.

There was a little silence between them, Tang ning looked at her and said.

"He was abducted by Emilo " 

"what! Why! When!? "  she exclaimed

"I'm surprised you didn't know, **she continued ** After he made the deal with Emilo, Emilo was angry and kept a grudge so he decided he kill h...."

"Wait..wait, what deal? "

"Your deal,  he made a deal with Emilo about you, he paid a huge amount of money... Emilo didn't event want to release you back then."
