2 CHAPTER TWO: CIAO ADIOS

"I need your help, I am about to die."

"Huh?"

Great going Yuri, he is absolutely convinced. Yuri rolled her eyes internally, baffled by her brightness, "I- I will explain everything, just please, I really need your help." She almost begged, appearing desperate. Okay, good going.

Jae's stare softened as he looked at his guards before looking back at her, "You will have fifteen minute to explain, if you are unable to, you'll be escorted." Yuri nodded furiously. And the plan begins. They stepped inside and crossed the hallway, entering a living room area- which alone could be the house size of many. Capitalism much?

They settled down opposite each other as Jae continued to steal glances at her. Is she really in trouble or is she…? No, Jae, stop being an arse and at least hear her out. And that's on growing up as a 'good child.'

"Would you like some water?" He asked, she nodded looking grateful. Being a gentleman, he pressed a button, allowing the maid to enter, "A glass of water and a few cookies, please." The maid smiled, nodded and left.

While Yuri was left to ponder over whether she was at someone's house or a fancy restaurant.

"So, now will you explain?" he asked, forwarding the glass of water brought by the bad.

Oh, swallow me dear earth. Avoiding the question completely as if she had lost her hearing, Yuri grabbed the glass of water and chugged it down. Jae waited, patiently while Yuri placed the glass back on the counter carefully, knowing she couldn't afford to buy it even if she sold her pics on onlyfans.

Licking her lips she raised her hand extra slowly towards her head, shut her eyes and stitched her brows together. Good going, Yuri, good going. She started to gently sway, as if she couldn't maintain her balance. Good, now get up- no wait! Fall on the couch, it'll hurt less, yes. Jae's eyes slightly indeed in panic as he watched her collapse with a thud on his couch.

"Uh… Miss?" He asked unsure about what he should do. How is he supposed to know? He was trained to tackle business deals, not women collapsing on his couch, "Are you okay?" He stepped closer, did she… die? "Uh, miss?" he tried again and when she did not respond, he stood right by the couch and leaned down, ready to try calling out to her a third time, "Mi-"

"-I am so sorry," He was taken aback as she opened her eyes and cut him off and before he could react, she grabbed hold of his coat and planted her lips right on his. Both their eyes widened.

Oh no. Yuri could taste an orange tinge on his lips. Yuck, I hate oranges.

Oh no. Jae had frozen, he couldn't move nor make a sound. Well, not that making a sound in this situation was going to help.

Oh no, no, no, no, no. Before Jae could react, Yuri had pushed him off of her and was up on her feet, wiping any remains of Jae on her lips.

"Backdoor?" She asked, hurriedly and with all his senses slightly numb, he pointed to his left, "Thanks," She said, surprised it didn't take much time.

She scurried across the marble floor, almost skating her way to the door when Jae finally recovered. He turned around to face her, eye wide, "What the fu-"

"Hey, language! Ciao Adios!" Yuri yelled back, not waiting for Jae to revive his iq and call his guards

"I- wha- GUARDS, CATCH HER!"

Oh she was so dead.

----

Oh he was dead.

Yuri almost skipped her way back to the car, her heart pounding against her chest. She jumped into the car, "DRIVE!"

As if on command, he started driving the car, chuckling at Yuri's state.

"Stop laughing, you asshole!" Yuri exclaimed, still in a state of panic.

However, Chris was not the kind of person to listen. He was in fact a person who would make sure people listen and Yuri was well aware of that; after all, he had been her boyfriend for over three years. And so, one might wonder how she ended up in such a situation with her ex. Here's a short explanation-

Chris and she dated in highschool. Then Chris dropped out and they broke up and they never spoke to each other again, until, Yuri desperately needed some money and somehow the only person she could imagine borrowing any form of money from was Chris. Being an absolute gentleman Chris did help her out however, at a condition. She would pay back the money with a 2-percent interest and Yuri, without thinking much of the consequences agreed. The problem arose when Yuri was dismissed from her job as a receptionist and had no means to pay back the loan. Chris struck a deal, she'd pay him by creating scandalous pictures with none other than Kim Jae.

And that's how they ended up here.

"I can't believe I agreed to do this. I should have taken you to the police." Yuri groaned, seeping her fingers through her hair and tugging at their roots in frustration.

Chris had parked the car at a distance now, in a secluded enough area for them to hide in. He chuckled again.

"Stop chuckling, I'll punch you." She mumbled, holding her head in her palms.

"At this point," He paused, taking in a deep breath and leaning against the seat, "You are an accomplice, so you'd—"

"Yeah, yeah, I know, be in jail too." She mumbled again, rolling her eyes.

"Dun, dun, dun— you are correct." He dramatically exclaimed.

"Great, now can I leave? You have your money." I stated.

"Only half of it, darling. You'll have to do two other things, before I have all of it." He smirked, as she watched him edit the picture of Jae and herself kissing, enough to make her face not so recognisable; plus, the angel helped.

"What next?" She asked, wanting this to be over as quickly as possible.

"Oh you'll see." He smirked.

And she would have been lying, if she said she wasn't scared for her life.
