35 Chapter 35: No Outstanding Debt

"White walls plus white sheets equals to white robe. "

The whole team just went silent to think of something white. Grace remembered Lull complaining about it at the hospital.

Grace eagerly stated her answer. The whole team just thought that it made sense. Lowel just chuckled at how everyone got so emerged with the riddle.

They discussed the plan and infiltrated the hospital. If the old man is correct then it will put a solid period to the undying wound and torment that left Grace and Dinah in utter rubbles.

Ode hit the alarm and the whole hospital panicked. The doctors and nursed evacuated the patients calmly. The Synth family had coordinated with the hospital owners.

Adam is at the evacuation area with Nun. For some reason whenever a big event happened Adam became an instant babysitter.

The alarm echoed through the white walls. All the nurses and doctors have evacuated everyone but no one is coming for her. The electricity all over the building made the whole place spooky. Rhoda continued to pretend that she is still in coma. The whole place went quite. It's been that long since every one in the hospital evacuated. So she threw her blanket and removed all that are attached unto her body. She walked around the halls barefoot.

The cold and dark atmosphere made it felt like she was long forgotten not until Grace stood in front of her. Grace Caress, the younger sister of the man whom she dearly loved. Unfortunately Ark was never in love with her. Rhoda can still remember how they argued that day. Ark pointed out that regardless of his feelings he will marry her. Rhoda forced him to confess who was it. When he mentioned the name it sounded like a gong that split her heart in two.

That's right, the beholder of the name is standing right in front of her, astonished. Grace voice vestiged like an ancient mummy that haunted her every nerve.

"Rhoda, It's true that your awake. "

Rhoda sighed and just shrugged and tittered as she pace toward her.

"Yep, since four years ago. I hated the million flores you stucked within my room. "

Grace look down to hide her moistened face and asked with a broken voice just above a whisper.

"Why?"

Rhoda violently forced a rough and harsh sound through her nose. Her brown eyes expressed so much scorn, anger and indignation.

"Because I hate you! I loathed you! I want you to suffer the same pain I went through.... when Ark choosed you. "

Grace was in utter shock. She can't believe what she is hearing right now.

"So, did you pretend to be in coma for four more years just because you hated me? "

Rhoda just said yes nonchalantly. Her indifference irked Grace. She wanted to finish their plan and just storm out of this place. She hated how her heart ponder in anger. Her knees are shaking with a strong feeling of antagonism.

"Then does that mean, you were the one who truly set up that incident three years ago? The shop ransack and our house burning?" Grace almost choked with her own words. Everything's been coming to pieces. And Grace is not taking all this things well. She was doing her best to control her self from punching or kicking this person. Suddenly her claws extended to rip the being who hath put her through hell. Rhoda's every word became a trigger to uncage her lioness.

"Oh and Grace that day before the explosion ,Ark was long dead. "

Grace slapped her in the face and pulled Rhoda's hair. Rhoda stamp on Grace's feet and bite her arm that held her hair. Rhoda pushed Grace on a wall and dragged her to the nearest window and was about to pushed her to death when the lights suddenly switched on. Even the police are there. Rhoda's parents were looking at her in disbelief.

Grace wrapped up the company meeting and join Lowel to drive home. Lull was able to walk again, thanks to the service and assistance of Rhoda's parents. Gavin remained loyal to Lull. Dinah complained about being a housewife but that can't be help. Gavin insisted since they are about to have their second baby. When Gavin inquired about Ode's word personally with the old man. Luden just gave him a gentle nudge and said.

"Because you are popular with my grandkids "

Lull cooked a special course for Grace. He brought a bunch of cactus and used to decorate their kitchen walls. He tied some baloons on the chair and waited for Lowel to drive Grace home.

When he heared the familiar honk. He made his way to the door to escort his wife and lead her to what he prepared.

Adam did not push through as an actor. He continued to manage the Coffee shop and flower shop with Ode and Cally. Ode and Cally would visit the old man in jail frequently. The other celebrities involved on the past rape incident pursued another path. The two are working with Lull and Gavin and the others have married and settled.

Grace became close to Luden after Lowel's revelation. The old man hath contacted him and Ode that day. The old man hath investigated the rape incident when he heared that Grace would be part of Synth family. It took him two years to confirm his suspicions and plotted the script with Lowel.

Luden just wanted a permission to remind him that he hath gone enough and that he wanted to know that someone would care when he does.

Cally and Luden would nag Lull and Grace for a grandchildren but they are still working on it. Ark's blocked autopsy became clear. He was hit on the neck by a sharp and hard object. His body recieved three stab wound and he got toss in the ocean but accidentally got caught in the fire.

Grace can't help but utter a word of sincere gratitude in prayer.

Every pavement she had went through made her destiny in the shape of heart. Her eyes may have different color but it painted her vision crystal clear.

Not of her own but of what is designed for her by the recipient of her deisre, passion, love and prayers.
