2 2. Three Meals A Day

The day went by and lunchtime came. She went to the cafeteria with her friend but did not buy anything. Her friend Su Mi said, "Not again" her face looked worried as she talked with her friend. "It's ok. I won't die if I eat just once a day" she replied.

"Lee. Eun. Mi. Eat something. Please. I'll buy!" Su Mi begged her friend and left to go to the vending machine without waiting for Eun Mi's reply. 'Eun Mi' just like her name she was graceful but unfortunately she wasn't rich enough for three meals a day.

The fees of the school itself took her one month salary. She studied hard for the scholarship. Starving herself almost every day.

Unlike her friend Su Mi, her parents left her to an orphanage when she was just a year old. She remembers the beating she received every day in the orphanage.

She lived there until she was 15. She left and came to Seoul. She found a job in a bar. And would go there after school. Though it paid well it wasn't enough for her.

She met Su Mi when she first came to Seoul. She was lost and started crying. Su Mi came up to her and helped her. Turned out that they were neighbors. She saved up money and took scholarships and enrolled in Seoul University.

At the start, she didn't have any money to buy the uniform so she would just wear casual clothes. A week passed and the teachers started yelling at her. It was not her fault that her parents left her and that she was poor.
