8 Chapter - 8

(Alisha P.O.V)

"I'm sorry Megna but I have to review for my extra subject," I said to her apologetically.

"You have to review or you have to on a date with Luke?" she asks while pouting at me.

"Megna, how many times did I have to tell you that we are just friends," I whinnied.

"Huh, who knows?" she said and chuckled at me.

"It's not funny," I said looking down at the ground while blushing.

"Ok..Ok.. see you later then," she said and go to her next class.

"Ok bye," I said and walk to my next class. As soon as I entered the class student start picking on me.

"Hey! girl you are acting differently now huh," one of the boys said to me.

"But her pathetic look never changes guys," another one of the boys said to them while checking me out and all of them started laughing at me.

"Excuse me, I am not that pathetic girl you are thinking any more..maybe that was you try to look at yourself at the mirror before you talk," I said to them while shooting daggers to them and leaves.

"That was my friend," Megna said.

"What are you doing here girl, as long as I remember you don't take soft skills classes," I ask her.

"Oh I just want to give you your chemistry book back," she said while giving me my book.

"Oh okay, see you later," I said to her with a smile.

"Bye, later," she said and walk out of the room.

The rest of the class goes as the usual student keeps whispering about me and sending comments on me but I don't pay them any attention like I used to. The bell ring showing that the lecture is over and I have a free period so I go the library to make some notes.

I and a luke seat on the same table as we have a free period at the same time. I can feel her gaze at me while I was busy making notes. I was fed up of him staring at me continuously so I ask.

"What are you doing Luke?" I ask while looking at him.

"Review why?" he said it like it was casual.

"Then...did you learn anything from my face?" I ask raising my eyebrow at him.

"A..A.Alisha," he said looking down blushing at me.

*Damn he looks so cute when he blushes like that,* I thought and shake my head internally to get that thought out of my mind.

"Ok, let continue our review," I said and get back to making notes.

"Okay," he said to me while I just nodded my head to him.

"Alisha," he asks.

"Yeah, what is it?" I ask still reading my book.

"Can we go out tomorrow?" he asks.

"of course we always go out together right? " I ask looking at him.

"Oh yeah right sorry I forgot," he said looking at his hand in his lap.

"Are you okay, you look like something is bothering you?" I ask him concerned about him.

"Yeah, everything is alright," he said still staring at me.

After that, we get back to our study until the bell ring signaling that the school was over. We pack our things and Luke said that he will drop me home I protest but he doesn't listen to me and walk me home.

Next day he comes to pick me up and take me to a beautiful garden with a beautiful lake, children were playing around while their parents and grandparents are busy talking and laughing with their relatives and friends.

"Luke this place is so beautiful," I said while removing my shoes and walking in a garden with a barefoot.

"Of course I know what makes you happy, and it a quiet place, too," he said doing the same thing.

"Yeah your right, thanks and you can relax too," I said while going toward the lake taking my shoes in my hand.

"Yeah," he said while walking by my side with his shoes in his hand.

"Is something wrong Luke," I ask worried for his weird behavior.

"No why?" he asks.

"Because you are acting weird since yesterday," I said while looking at him.

"I am sorry if I make you worried because I am tired," he said looking at me. But I can tell something is definitely bothering him because of his behavior and because I can also feel the tension radiating off of him.

"Are you sure?" I ask while looking at his eyes to make sure. And I think he knows what I was trying to do because...

"Yes, I'm sure, I am always fine because I am with you," he said looking deep in my eyes. What he said, make me speechless and make my heart beat fast. I feel like my heart was about to bust out from my chest from the speed it was beating.

*What is this feeling, it's different, it feels like the whole world has just disappeared and it's only me and him, is it what people call love, or is it just high school crush,* I thought still looking at his eyes. He looks at me and I look away to save myself from embarrassment.
