151 Chapter 150: Hydra Destruction (Part 2) - Hydra’s RISING.

Washington. Pierce's former house.

"Sir- SIRR!" Jasper Sitwell rubbed his bald head in agony while trying to save Pierce from the death door. Sitwell was saved before getting captured by SHIELD's agents under Fury and was placed in a safe house nearby Pierce.

Saving him was out of character for Pierce as he wouldn't hesitate to silence Sitwell to cover up Hydra's existence. But with Tarot running around the place, Pierce was actually using him as a bait to lure the annoying guy out.

After hearing a faraway explosion, Sitwell ran breathlessly toward the rubble his faction head was in. He managed to pull Pierce out from the debris, but Pierce was dying.

Pierce opened his eyes slowly as the serum he injected inside his body had saved him from being welcomed by death. His canine teeth turned into fangs, while his face became furry at the edges. His nails became claws, and his shoes broke as his legs became digitigrade legs. Slowly, he stood back up, towering over Sitwell with his new 2.3 meter tall height. Suddenly a fluffy tail showed up from his backside, startling him and Sitwell who saw it.

"Sir?" Sitwell raised his head to look at Pierce's new face. He was afraid of the golden-brown furry monster in front of him, but his lower legs were frozen.

"Good job to be here Sitwell, come, give me your phone," Pierce said eerily as he showed his fangs to the scared agent.

"H-H-H-H-Here.." Sitwell stammered and reached into his back pocket and took out a small, encrypted phone and gave it to the monsterized Hydra head. Pierce took it, but his monsterized hand couldn't operate the phone. "Grrrr"

"Wh-Who, do y-ou, want to call?" Sitwell took back the phone and started dialing whatever Pierce was telling him.

"Zola. Malik. Hale. Hall. Strucker…"

Pierce named the rest of the Hydra head, causing Sitwell to shake uncontrollably. However this time it wasn't from fear. It was…from excitement!

"The Era of Hydra is here. Now, it's time to show our true self to the world!!!!"

Pierce announced confidently as he and Sitwell were joined with countless elite Hydra agents. The Fox serum he injected inside his body had turned him into a cunning predator. He decided then that they didn't need to hide any longer.

"Seal off the Triskelion Building, No one IN or OUT! Congregate all of our forces there. We will launch the Insight Helicarrier in one hour, not tomorrow."

"Summon Rhino, Grim Reaper, Crimson Dynamo, the Mandroid units, the Hydra-bots, and everything else. Place them in front of the Triskelion building to guard the gate. I got a feeling that the Avengers are on their way. It's time to show the rag-tag group of misfits who are really in charge."

Pierce barked orders non-stop as he climbed into a helicopter and flew toward the Triskelion building. Sitwell was carrying a silver briefcase with him as he entered the helicopter. Some serum was broken from the impact of the explosion, but three managed to survive.

Fury at that time was hunted by several elite Hydra agents, making SHIELD unaware of the current storm brewing for them.

Avenger Tower.

"WHAT!" Tony was startled when Ryan connected to him and told him some stuff. Ryan shared the file that Marcus had shared with him. Even about Stark's death.

"Cap and Kai are on their way from London. Get Widow, Hawkeye and Bruce on standby. They'll pick you up before going to Washington," Ryan said to the holographic projection coming from his watch.

"Hydra!! Are you serious!!?" Tony asked urgently for confirmation. Searing anger was boiling inside of him, wanting to destroy all of Hydra by himself. But when Ryan shared that Hydra had killed his mother too, the anger was a little quenched with the worries he had for Ryan.

"Yep, and they have infiltrated deeply inside the country too," Ryan replied. He then texted the President of the United States through his social media account as he has already studied the lifestyle of the inadequate President.

>Head to the bunker. Don't bring anyone with you.

Ryan rolled his eyes when he texted the childish President. After the Chitauri invasion, Ryan and the President of the United States had gotten close – more like the president was clingy toward the Oracle as he was too dependable. Ryan had given the United States some method to stabilize the country after the invasion, which worked perfectly well before Hydra and other underground organizations started to move.

>Trust me on this. Don't even bring your secret service agents.

If the President did not heed his warning and go on as usual before he got himself killed, then Ryan won't even blink an eye for his death. Almost half of the secret service agents inside the White House were Hydra agents. Half of that half were Skrulls undercover.

The President who was in the Oval office moved quietly toward the bunker room. The secret service agents were following him with a glint of ruthlessness when they saw he was moving unusually.They checked his social media account as usual to ensure that he didn't DM an underage person.

Not only they didn't find any trace of the president's usual model-bothering DMs for the target he wanted to cheat on his wife with for the week, but also the chat from Ryan was gone without a trace.

Will the President manage to enter the bunker room before the Hydra sleeper agents are activated? Ryan didn't really care about that. The president was a symbol for this event. If he died, then all of this will be for nought.

Ryan shook his head as he turned off his phone screens and headed for Washington D.C. with his army. They entered a new transport plane Ryan created using hover tech and a new design from the trading system.

The new plane has the capabilities to crush every single aspect of the Quinjet, and even the Airbus that Coulson was using at the moment. And most importantly, it was created from the Knight Industry – not one of his advanced items that needs to be hidden from the world.

"I will meet you guys at the Triskelion building. No matter what Tony, the Tri-carrier shouldn't leave the ground."

Zola had reported to Ryan about the solid defense line being created by Pierce. Ryan had cards on his own, but he was torn about the way to start the game.

'Oh thank goodness, I kind of wonder if I need to pull Cap to the front and let him do his public speaking things again to convince the agents there. However, what should I do with the normal agents there…'

Ryan smirked at the first thought and suddenly became solemn at the second thought. If Hydra was tearing off all covers, then the agents there were in danger.

'Those elite talents…so wasteful…' Ryan thought carefully before he decided.

The agents inside SHIELD that weren't Hydra were true to their thought to protect the world. Otherwise they won't stand up to the STRIKE team lead by Rumlow and follow Captain America along if they just did it for the money and prestige.

"Let destiny protect them then."

"What sir?" Elijah Bradly, the grandson of Eli Bradly, the african-america supersoldier who was captured and experimented on, stared at his employer.

"Nothing, how are you liking the new suit?" Ryan asked while checking the capabilities of his enhanced army commander.

Wearing a red and blue striped suit that was similar to Captain America's design, Isaiah was carrying a crest-shaped shield with the American flag painted on it. He stood tall as he vowed to carry his grandfather's legacy that was taken away by the government and protect the people. He was now the Patriot. A codename Ryan thought his grandfather deserved after all of his contributions toward the nation.

"I don't think it fits yet."

"Give it time. You'll grow into it. Where is Bryan?"

Ryan looked around to search for the Roadblock who was smoking cigars with the rest of the team.

"Bryan, you and Elijah have to do something for me, will you?"

"Sure boss, whatever you need," Bryan replied casually as he threw the cigar to the floor and stepped on it.

After the Enchantress incident, the stern Bryan had grown more casual after traveling around the world. He finally moved on from Amora after Ryan explained to him that she had been enchanting him from the start, and how she would spare strong men to join her army – although it took time for him to do so.

"Allright, this is what you need to do," Ryan whispered something to the duo, and they were dropped off at a different location while the rest of them were on their way to the Triskelion building.

Several minutes afterward, Ryan finally saw the sight of the Triskelion building in the distance.

'Wait, isn't this supposed to be a spy-flick? Did the genre change? Why did it become a full-on war instead?'

Ryan took out an interplanetary-capable phone and started to call someone. The one on the other end of the phone was confused by the sudden call as they were only chatting through the texts before this.

"What's going on?"

"Big Sis~! Someone is bullying me~!" Ryan said with a cheeky voice of a highschool teenager looking for the delinquent big sister, but all it did was make the person he was calling confused instead.

"What?"

"Come back to earth, now. We need you here," He said solemnly to convey the seriousness of the matter. The one in the end was shocked as she knew Ryan's capabilities. He wasn't even afraid of the Chitauri but he needed her to come back now?

'What has happened on earth?'

"I'm on my way."

After hearing her confirmation, Ryan smirked as his plan was going without any obstruction now.

…

Inside the Avenger jet.

"So that's why Tarot was attacking SHIELD huh. They are actually a Hydra's nest," Bruce said as he read the files that Ryan had sent them. A lot of things finally made sense to him. The nuclear attack, the confrontation inside Stark's tower after the chitauri war, and many more.

"We're sure that the information is confirmed.. Right?" Barton asked sadly. SHIELD was his home for a long time. 'Laura was a field agent before this… she couldn't be… right'

His heart wanted to fly home and asked his retired and pregnant wife the truth. But something else required his attention.

Desperately, he wished that the love of his life had nothing to do with Hydra. Because if she was, and he needed to choose between her and the world, he would choose her. Even if it meant fighting against the Avengers.

Kai patted Barton's shoulder as his head was lowered. Natasha shivered as she read the files. She glanced at every member of the Avengers inside the team, but their casualness with her caused her to be extremely confused.

'Why didn't they suspect me?' A tumultuous thought brewed inside her mind. However she was afraid to say it out loud in case it became a sudden realization for the team member there.

"What about White Tiger, where are we placing her?" Tony asked with a slight dissatisfaction.

"We are putting her inside the tower. She isn't ready yet for the battlefield. Didn't Ryan tell you about it?" Natasha chided.

Tony actually disagreed with Ryan on this one. For him, White Tiger had already passed as the new Avenger member.

He was already fighting on the battlefield when he first made the Mark 2. The best way to learn was to be thrown inside a hard battle. Ayala's combat capabilities exceeded his expectations. He was sure she would do well, but Ryan hatefully benched Ayala from going with them.

"SHIELD has been making contingency plans for all of us. We can expect to face them by the time we land there. So prepare yourself accordingly and never go off on your own during the battle."

Kai reminded the team about the potential threat, meanwhile Captain America was silently processing the information. Something weird happened before, when he left Peggy's home to enter the jet.

"See you there," Peggy kissed Steve's cheek before he left the house. Sharon Carter was dragged by Peggy inside the house before she could even process her great aunt's youth.

"Captain, are you okay?" Kai asked purposely to snap the Captain back to reality.

"I'm… fine. We need to prepare for the contingency plan that Hydra had-"

"Captain, Kai already briefed us about this. Are you sure you're okay?" Barton asked in a worrying tone. They were going into battle at the moment. They needed their leader to be capable of leading them into victory. But Steve seemed a little out of it.

"Cap, your phone is ringing," Natasha interjected during the time the mood was a little off.

Steve picked up the smartphone and saw the caller id of the person calling him.

"It's Fury," Steve said, making the atmosphere inside the jet more solemn than it was.

"Put him on speaker," Tony requested.

"Yo Fury it seems that you have a slithery problem," Tony said the moment the call was connected.

"..." Fury was silent. He was just attacked by several elite Hydra agent's and could barely escape with his life intact. Beside him was Hill and they were contacting Captain from inside a nameless base that Fury had hidden from SHIELD's database.

After an intense argument, Fury realized that he couldn't change anyone's mind inside the team. No one would help him to take control of the Insight Helicarrier after Ryan shared with them the purpose of the algorithm.

"Fury, you still don't get it, Don't you? No matter what your justification is, pointing a gun to the entire world and calling it protection wasn't anything a normal person would do," Steve said with a little anger in his tone. "Hydra may have taken over the project, but every death caused by it is still on you."

"And now, we can only hope that we can reach the place before we run out of time."

The holographic display inside the Avenger's Jet showed the footage from a scout drone that had already arrived at the government building.

A massive number of soldiers dressed in yellow-suits with an octopus logo on its back and equipped with a new gen energy gun that can blast a hole on a gold-titanium alloy, Hydra energy tanks, Hydra octopus shaped robots with a human face, and many more.

"We can only hope," Steve said solemnly as he calculated some strategies inside his mind.

…

Washington. SHIELD's Triskelion building.

"We don't have much time. So do your job well…Zola," Pierce muttered coldly as he connected Zola to the main SHIELD's system for the first time ever. He had freed the Hydra AI from Camp Lehigh to help him in his endeavor at the moment.

"I am not your slave Herr Pierce," Zola said after he connected to the computer there. Now, the AI was finally free from Hydra's prison for him. A whole wide world out there, but he was kept inside the machinery from the 70s.

After Zola was connected to the system, the agent responsible for launching the tri-carrier wasn't needed anymore. Steel doors appeared from the glass window, covering the entire building in metal armor. SHIELD already got Ryan's disaster shelter design as he needed to submit the design to the country for it to be allowed.

Having all of the security access of the building, Zola controlled every locked door, shutting off the armory and the elevators to trap the remaining agents inside the building. The AI also blocked the entire building's signals, making the agents unable to call for help. The only way in or out of the building is through the front door where the majority of Hydra's army was stationed.

Pierce didn't care about the AI snide, and ordered his agent's to create chaos all over the world to put pressure on the Avengers. The sleeper agents in the military started to kill. the government. The congress. The White House. He wanted to split the Avenger's might. After all, they were too strong when they fought together.

"How long will it take for the craft to get in the air?" Pierce asked coldly as the Avenger's transport jet was seen in their radar.

"11 minutes, 32 seconds," Zola replied.

Pierce connected to the Hydra army in front of the building.

"In 11 minutes, Hydra's ambition will be fulfilled. Brave Hydra warriors… ENSURE that no enemy manages to BREACH the defense line. If they did and our 70 year old ambition failed… it's because of you… HAIL HYDRA!"

"HAIL HYDRA!" The crowd outside the building raised their guns upward and chanted at the same time, showing Hydra's might to the world.

Ryan finally arrived near the Triskelion building. Seeing the army stationed there, he muttered. "Now this is an Avenger level threat."

"Ryan you here?" Tony said as he flew downward from the Avenger jets that was avoiding the aerial defense of the Triskelion building. The almost dark sky was filled with flashes of red light as the turrets were hunting the extremely agile Avenger Jets.

"I am on the east side. You guys create a distraction on the west side while I break into the building."

Tony was silent when he heard Ryan's plan. "Alone?"

"No. I got a feeling that a friend of ours was already inside the building."

"Our friend?"

"Y'know. The one with the card."
