131 Chapter 131: Preventing the Nuclear Meltdown.

"This is…" Tony is in his Iron Man suit and he has no words to describe after watching the scene which is unfolding before him. He flew in the air, scanning the city with his spectral cameras.
The city is now submerged in the water. He saw the entire seawall at the shoreline of the city of Tohaka was destroyed by the tsunami.
"If they didn't evacuate…" Steve Rogers is solemn. He knows that Ryan had to fight with the government officials just to empty the city. A rebellious feeling starts to emerge inside Captain America's heart.
Thoughts about staying outside the laws are budding inside of him as the government's decision had disappointed him so much. Not only did they interfere with the process, but they also endangered normal people's lives because of their indecisiveness. After he woke up and learned about the things his own countries had done, he figured maybe the Avenger could be something more if they weren't under any governments.
The buildings in the city were swept away by the massive wave, and it didn't stop there. The wave is moving inland, and the pressure won't stop until it reaches 6 miles.
The power of mother nature is unleashed onto the world, making everything that these humans have ever built and are proud of, destroyed in seconds.
Although some people were still stubborn and remained there, that was their decision. Ryan didn't have any part in those deaths. His warning had given them enough time to evacuate.
Before the huge wave would have crashed into the land, the earthquake caused damage to the nuclear power plant in the restricted area of the country.
"Kai, the nuclear power plant is on the brink of meltdown. Help the workers there, so they can evacuate," Ryan ordered on the communication line.
"How? Didn't the fission already stop?" Tony chided in disbelief. He wasn't sure whether it was the government's stupidity to think they can take the wave impact head-on, or if it was someone else's plot entirely.
"Someone sabotaged the electrical grid and caused the internal mechanism of the plant to malfunction, " Ryan explained as he checked the internal problem of the power plant.
He already knows who the perpetrator behind the scene is. However, he was unable to bring the evidence to the public or press as the sleeper agents responsible for sabotaging the grid have already killed themselves after committing the crime.
"Get ready to freeze it," Ryan announced to the Avengers.
He will create a wall of ice the moment he computes the wave coming toward this area so that his ice wall can prevent the nuclear plant from total collapse.
After he got the Jotun corpse before, he had studied the cooling properties of the ice giants. There, Ryan had created a quick freeze bomb that can envelop a small country.
In this disaster, he planned to use the bombs to create an ice shield around the power plant, so that the wave impact can be lessened.
"If you fail, then not only the wave will still crash in, but chunks of the iceberg will be included in the wave, further amplifying the damage! "
Tony had some reservations about the countermeasures. The rate of freezing needs to be faster than the rate of water flow, otherwise, it won't work. Unless Ryan can achieve instant freezing, he will fail.
"It won't fail," Ryan said confidently. He had added something extra to the bomb. That is why he only called Kai to do it.
Not that he didn't trust Tony — he just didn't want to get interrogated by the man as he will scan the bomb before he uses it.
Kai uses his wings to fly toward the power plant. However…

Security of the power plant starts to use machine guns to shoot Kai down after he enters the secret facility airspace.
"What the hell?" Kai exclaimed as he rolled sideways and prevented himself from getting shot. The machine guns keep firing at Kai, chasing him the entire time.
"What's going on?" Kai asked calmly to the communication line. The bullets didn't bother him at all, but the bombs is on his back.
"We lost connection with the power plant. They think you're an intruder," Ryan explained.
".... Are they serious?" Kai asked in disbelief. Ryan got the answer for the power plant's security action from the country's government. Even he was in disbelief when they heard their response.
After the disaster, the Japanese government realizes that the shooter is not inside any of their citizen databases.
" The wave is coming in, we didn't have much time," Tony said as he was monitoring the sea level. A 39-meter tall wave is crashing around the epicenter of the earthquake. At the power plant position, a 14-15 meter tall wave is on its way there.
'Just ignore them, Kai. Dawn is coming to help,' Ryan ordered telepathically.
Ryan decided to bend the rule of this little game of hydra a little bit. Hydra started first, so can they really blame him on this one?
Dawn directly teleported inside the nuclear power plant. The CCTV are already destroyed by Hydra's sleeper agents when they wreaked havoc inside the power plant.
"Tsk..tsk..tsk.." Dawn clicked his tongue as he walked inside the collapsing power plant. After walking for a while, he reached the command center of the power plant where the panels for nuclear fission are located.
"Hmmm, there are still people inside here," Dawn muttered to himself as he saw the director of the plant and a few workers trying their hardest to prevent the worst-case scenario from happening.
Many of the workers are killed by the infiltrating Hydra agents, so the process is extremely hard for those people who are left behind.
" DAREDA!? (Who's There!?)," The power plant director heard some English muttering from behind him. He was extremely anxious and fearful — thinking that the terrorists are attacking the power plant again.
The group of people widened their eyes when they saw the sight of the masked man. His figure reminded them of the tale their mother used to tell them when they were young.
Wearing a yukata and wooden sandals, Dawn ignored the group who was pointing their weapons at him. He approached the control panel steadily, standing a meter away from the power plant director.
" I am here to help. But I can't do that if you won't let me," Dawn said calmly. He cast an all-speak language to the area, making the conversation with the people there possible.
The group realizes that he is speaking a different language, but they can understand it. Their faces contorted and their eyes moistened.
"Are you… Kami-sama?" One of the younger workers asked with a shaky voice. Only God can save them now, and he desperately wished the man in front of him… was one.
"Maybe. I am not sure yet," Dawn replied ambiguously. Is he a god now, or is he still considered a mortal?
Outside the power plant, Kai had set up the bombs so that the barriers of ice can be made.
"incoming wave from 30°N-" Kai said urgently as he flew toward the sky. The huge 14-meter tall waves are crashing near him, swallowing everything in their path.
The wave is 500 meters away from the nuclear power plant and approaching rapidly. Ryan calculated the momentum of the wave and activated the freezing bomb that was planted on the ground.
Pulsating strongly, the miniature bombs exploded in a U shape, with the power plant as its center of the semi-circle. The bomb's impact causes the starting wave to freeze immediately, making 30-meter thick and 17-meter tall iceberg walls appear out of nowhere.
"Ryan!! THE WALLS ARE BEING PUSHED BACK!!!" Tony yelled as he arrived near Kai's position. Steve is heading to Tohaka city with the Avenjet together with the disaster relief mothership. It is impossible to do anything when the water is crashing, but they can do something after it calms down.
The waves are pushing the iceberg walls back, and the area around the power plant started to collapse.
"It can still stop it!" Ryan said urgently. He underestimated the force of the wave. Thankfully, he followed his instinct to explode it further away from the reactor.
The ice giant's blood in the bomb was able to expand the walls by freezing the water wave that is crashing into it. The walls started to become thicker and higher, and were growing rapidly. However, the momentum of the wave is still winning.
'Dawn, we need a little bit of your help," Ryan connected to Dawn telepathically.
'I can try to slow down the waves a little bit," Dawn, who was holding the hydrologic explosion so he compressed it inside of his palm and let out his divinity to calm the water. His powers are no match for the tsunami, but it was able to give the ice wall a little bit of chance.
The ice walls were pushed back until it was 20 meters away from the power plant and it started to slow down after that. It was still moving until it was only one meter away from the power plant. Then, it finally stopped.
"That was close," Kai said as he perched on the iceberg. The ice wanted to freeze him too, but he was too damn strong to feel its effect. Ryan will secretly deactivate the Jotun's blood inside the ice when the waves are over.
The water encircled the power plant and breached the sides without the water walls, but the plant is prepared for a small tsunami. The rising water on the power plant didn't have that much effect. The matter seemed to be over, but…
'The meltdown is still occurring. The fission material is too unstable here,' Dawn notified Ryan.
"Damn it," Ryan cursed.
"What is it?" Bruce asked as Ryan's happiness suddenly turned into a frown. He did stop the wave from crashing the power plant. So what happened now?
"I…am having a stomach ache," Ryan held his stomach and said to Bruce.
"Then go to the toilet!" Bruce scolded him.
Entering the toilet, Ryan changes into his new suit and teleports himself into the power plant.
His locked suit finally makes its debut. Using nano-particles, the suit wraps itself around Ryan automatically. The iron suit is designed to look like a purple tuxedo and black shoes. The face region of his helmet is made of led screens – displaying emoticons that serve to show his feelings.
The suit is sleek and dense, it's made with a mixture of vibranium and Uru. He didn't actually need to wear the suit to get the job done, but he never had the chance to wear it.
Of course, he left a shadow clone inside the Avenger tower to avoid suspicions. The shadow clone will join Bruce as he will be taking care of the problem in the power plant.
Inside the power plant. Gigantic roots are growing from the cracks of the power plants, holding the ceiling from collapsing. Dawn is settling the hydrogen explosion and is too preoccupied to handle the heavy elements to be leaked.
"Hello there, need some help," Ryan said cheerfully. A mocking emoticon showed up on his face, making Dawn annoyed.
"Do what you have to do, and do it quickly," Dawn said to Ryan with a warning in his tone.
"Calm down, it is easy," Ryan said as multiple small bots came out from his suit. More accurately – microbots.
In an instant, thousands of microbots appeared inside the power plant. Using the neural transmitter he combined into his new suit, Ryan was able to fix the damaged nuclear plant a bit too easily.
Ryan saw some people sleeping next to Dawn. The elf god had put them all to sleep as they were being a bother with their questions such as – "Where did the roots come from? Are you a man or a woman? How were you able to catch the explosions?"
In a few minutes, the nuclear meltdown was fixed as if it was new. Ryan and Dawn eased up a bit and erased all the traces of their existence from here.
"What about them?" Dawn asked as he pointed toward the sleeping mens there.
"Just let them be. It's not like they will tell about this experience to anyone and if they did no one is going to believe in them as there is no proof," Ryan said.
When they awake, the people here won't even speak about this matter as they are grateful to the god who had saved them.

A few hours after the tsunami. The Avenger's rescue mission started its ending phase because the Japanese government is taking over. Some floating platforms are seen all over the country with thousands of survivors of the tsunami. In this natural disaster, around 3000 lives were lost and 200+ are missing despite Ryan's best efforts.
The tsunami waves also traveled across the Pacific, reaching Alaska, Hawaii, and Chile. With Ryan's early warning, they were able to stabilize the situation easily.
Japan had the greatest damage during the cataclysm. More than 120,000 buildings were destroyed, 278,000 were half-destroyed and 726,000 were partially destroyed according to Ryan's scanning. The direct financial damage from the disaster is estimated to be about 199 billion dollars, making it the costliest natural disaster in history.
Ryan's direct intervention had avoided a level- 7 nuclear meltdown at Fukushima Daiichi Power Plant – a nuclear disaster almost at the same level as Chernobyl. Ryan also prevented the nuclear waste from flowing into the sea, keeping it away from polluting the sea and spreading out to the entire pacific ocean.
"Huuuh, if only there was a way to prevent this," Bruce exclaimed as he rested on the long couch inside the Avenger tower.
"What else can you do? Punch the wave ?" Tony mocked Bruce outwardly, but on the inside, he too is thinking about the prevention method.
"You know, if humans are slightly less cocky and didn't underestimate mother nature, we may have been able to do it," Kai said as he rested his feet on the coffee table.
"Move your leg," Steve said as he wanted to get to the center of the sofa.
"Did the Japanese government say anything about the power plant yet," Steve asked. No matter how he saw it, the situation at the power plant was extremely suspicious. There was no way that many 'accidents' will happen at the same time.
"I don't know, they are keeping a tight lid on it. By the way, I think this is our first time meeting, Captain," Ryan said as he offered his hand.
Steve reciprocated and shook his hand. "Call me Steve. I have been wanting to meet you. First off, congratulations on your engagement."
"Yeah kid, congrats!" Tony chided. The others did too.
"Yeah, congrats to me!" Ryan answered cheerfully.
They talked for a while about many different topics. Especially the topic about the ice wall.
"S.H.I.E.L.D won't stay still about your advanced technology. Countless spies will be sent out to your company," Tony said to Ryan.
"Sure, let them come," Ryan said. It's not like he is keeping anything sensitive at the company there. With him being at the 11th level of S.H.I.E.L.D, there isn't a chance for the organization to do that.
"Well, that is the polite way," Bruce said.
There is another way for S.H.I.E.L.D to do this. That is to force Ryan on trial for the crime of using an experimental weapon in another country. He will be forced to open up his research center data for the government and possible sanctions for the company.
"If they feel that they need to do it the hard way, then it will be their loss," Ryan said playfully.
He controls the majority of the world's agricultural industry and is the richest man in the world. His position in the country is stable and his impact isn't ordinary. Not to mention, he controls social media, making it impossible for the interested party to start a smear campaign on him.
If they feel the need to do it the hard way, all he can say is…
"Come at me and See what happens! "

" So, you're the man who first found out about the earthquake? " Tony walked toward a Japanese man by the name of Yusuke, who was in custody before this. He had flown this man to America to talk with him, two days after the cataclysm.
Ryan is not in a man's category. He is more in JARVIS's category for Tony.
" Yes… I did, " Yusuke said in a sad tone, as he blamed himself for what had happened. The lives that had been lost. He felt like that was on him.
" Don't lower your head. You have done the best you can," Bruce comforted the man. However, it didn't do much for the man. The guilt is eating the man alive.
Tony sighs, wondering if there will be a day when the government will listen to the scientists and researchers. A capitalist like him had never thought about that before until his eyes opened in the small and dark cave.
Tony suddenly grabbed the man by his shoulder, startling the Japanese man.
"Congratulations. You're now the Head of the disaster research center under Knights and Stark's Disaster Relief Initiative."
Greatly surprised, the man muttered a few things in his own language. Tony left after announcing the appointment, leaving all the mess for Bruce. When he told Ryan later, Ryan agreed with him instantly.
Bruce leads Yusuke into the headquarters in the New York downtown area. There, a team of scientists and researchers from around the world heard what Yusuke had done and applauded him as he arrived.
"They had been waiting for you," Bruce said teasingly. Yusuke hesitantly walked into the office space. Starting from today, he will devote himself to studying more about the seismograph and the earthquake, and the best part is, that he is not alone in this effort anymore.

In Hell's Kitchen, the area near Kai's previous apartment.
"The mission had been scrapped. Kai Vera had moved away from New York."
The leader of the Hydra unit, a tough-looking man with sunglasses is briefing his entire squad that was responsible for Kai's previous difficulty. The pseudo-cult, the religious crowd gathering near Kai's place, the identity leak – all of this was caused by this team.
"Should we find where he is staying now?" Another hydra agent spoke.
"Well, I will,'' the tough-looking man said. Without hesitation, he pulls out a prototype energy gun and starts blasting the team that had been with him for a long time. The blast created holes in the abdomen of the agents, and other parts of them. In that short moment, all of them died without knowing it.
In this execution, none of them fought back. Their only regret is that they were unable to contribute more to Hydra.
"The new weapon is overheating," The tough-looking man muttered to himself. After Ryan had shown his new weapon during the New York war, Hydra had come out with a weapon that uses energy blasts instead of bullets.
In the history of the 21st century, Hydra had held the position as the leading researcher in these weapons. However, not using the energy of the tesseract is a new challenge for them. Still, they managed to do something in a month that none of the other government officials in this world can do. That is if Wakanda is to be excluded.
The tough-looking man turned his back on his previous team and is now going to the monitoring station where the new member of his team was. The mousey woman was added with the direct order of Alexander Pierce.
'Too bad, she had a really sexy body,' The tough-looking man thought to himself. But orders are orders. Although he is lustful toward the woman, he needed to kill her.
He arrived at the room the woman is in after walking for a minute.
'She is not here?!' His eyes widened as he saw the empty room. Suddenly, he was able to feel something cold on the back of his head.
*BANG*
The tough man fell to the ground as blood pooled around him.
The mousey woman is talking to someone at the moment, unbothered by what she had done. Her cowardly and sloughing body is no more as she changes into a confident woman.
"Ophelia, recover the prototype gun before you leave," the voice from the other side of the call said to her.
"Pierce, I did disguise under your team, but I am still the real head of Hydra," Ophelia said sternly. She then picks up the prototype gun and a picture frame on the computer desk. Slowly, she walked away from the hidden base, after burning all of the data there.
Madame Hydra a.k.a Viper had participated willingly on the operation. Her being inside the team is unknown to the other hydra heads, except for Pierce.
Smiling obsessively as she looked at the picture of Kai inside the frame, she couldn't wait for the day she would make Kai… hers.
"No matter how far you run, no matter how deep you hide…I will find you…" Ophelia said in an obsessive tone as she disappeared into the shadow.
