1 Trouble

In this dark cold night, as Su Anne is running for her life, thoughts run in her mind;

This pain, it extremely hurts. I need to run, run and not stop, I need to go to a place where these guys can't follow me. I need help from them but I'm afraid I'll only be a burden.

(Gasping)

"She's over there, hurry let's get her", said one of the men that are chasing her. "I'm so gonna kill that girl, how dare she!" As Anne hears this voice, trembling; she hides behind a wall not far from those guys. Bearing the pain in her body, she catches her breath.

While hiding, she recalls the reason of why this is happening to her, of why she came to this point...it was because of what she did, she accidentally messed with those guys' business.

- - - - - - Recall of what happened before Anne is being chased by men - - - - - -

Anne's boss ordered her to get a box in the entrance next building and deliver it to one of their costumer's house. She was told that it was an important delivery; inside the box are the medicines the costumer ordered so she has to deliver it on time. She went to the next building. When she arrived, she saw the box exactly in the entrance, assumed it's the right one, picked it up, and then delivered it. After delivering, she came back to the store. When she entered the store, she was called by her boss because they need to talk. Her boss asked her if how she delivered the box so quickly even though the box the costumer ordered was still not there. She explains to her boss that she already saw the box and then delivers it as she was told. Her boss agreed to it and told her to go home once her shift is over. After her shift, her coworker and childhood friend Feng Chenhan arrived and replaced her. Chenhan said goodbye to Anne and told her to get home safely. Anne nodded and said thanks.

While walking in the night to her apartment, she notices that someone or some people are following her. She felt scared then she took out her phone and decided to call someone or some people that can help her, but before she could press the call button someone in her back took the phone and smashed it in the ground. She got so angry, she couldn't control herself. It cost her days of overtime shifts in work just to afford to buy it, after all. She turned her back and there were three men in front of her. The men gave her snicker smiles and two of them grabbed her hand.

"What are you doing? Let me go? What do you want with me? Why did you do that? Do you guys have any idea how much that phone cost me? Compensate me", Anne said in an angry demanding loud voice.

"Ha! Hey, missy that stupid phone of yours isn't even an enough compensation for the trouble you gave us. Since you can't get us back what we want, our Boss ordered us to kill you. It's a real pity to destroy that face of yours though and not to mention you're quite gorgeous yourself" said one of the men. (Touches her face) (Pinches her cheeks) "You're young, too. It's a damn waste we can't touch you because we were only ordered to kill you", said one of the men.

"These men are crazy. I'm scared. I better get out of here now", Anne said in her thoughts.

(Removes the hand in her face forcefully) "What trouble?! I don't know what you people are talking about, I haven't done anything to you guys. Forget it, if that's your excuse for not going to compensate me then don't bother. If you'll excuse me I'm going to leave now", Anne said. Then the men blocked her and grabbed his arms again. "Where do you think you're going, missy? We haven't done our job yet, "said the man who grabbed her.

Anne tries to free her arms but the men were too strong. She is helpless and has nowhere to go. They covered Anne's eyes with a blindfold and carried her away. They took Anne near on a building, put her down and removed the blindfold in her eyes. They cornered her and after that, they did what they want with her. They kicked her, punch her in the face, and stroked her as if she is just an animal. They beat the hell out of her. Anne's head felt dizzy.

"Hey! Missy want to know what you did? Remember the box you picked up here? That box belonged to our boss, inside it was worth thousands of dollars", a man said.

Anne got confused. She looks at her surrounding and realized that this was the place where she picked the box and that this building is next to the store she works in. Anne tries to analyze everything….

"Box?! That box was theirs? No wonder my boss said something about me being early to deliver even though the box that he said still wasn't there. So that means it was swapped?! I picked the wrong box? Great, I'm such an idiot, I didn't even check if it was the right box. I've been fortunate lately to have this job but I think I'm over. I'm sure the costumer that I delivered it to with now is full of joy and here I am miserable," Anne said in her mind.

When they got tired of beating her, the two men grabbed her hand tightly and the one tries to kiss her in the neck. Anne thought that this is her chance to escape so she bites the ear of the guy trying to kiss her so hard that she hoped it would bleed and become a scar. The guy shouted in pain and anger. Then, she bites the hand of the man holding her in the right really hard and so her right hand is free then she kicks the stomach of the guy in her left ruthlessly. As the men were shouting in pain, Anne escapes, despite in her condition. Anne ran and ran.

"I'm strong. I will make it. I need to see them one last time. I love those guys a lot. Seriously, when they see my condition now, I'll get a hell of scolding from those three", Anne said in her thoughts as she is running.

With determination, she ran and ran as far as she can go. She barely escaped.

As Anne is hiding behind the wall. The men that are chasing her are getting nearer. She covered her mouth to stop making a noise.... Bearing the pain she feels throughout her body.

"Where did she go? We're gonna be dead to Boss. We still haven't take revenge yet. Dang it, she can't completely get away in her state. Let's try going there", said the men. Luckily the men that were chasing Anne choose a different way far from where she is hiding.

When Anne didn't hear them anymore, she continued to run. She went to a street hoping for someone to help her but it's impossible. The night is getting darker and darker. There seems to be no one around, too. Anne slowly walked and walked in the street. She's head is getting dizzier and dizzier. She can't take it anymore.

While walking, she suddenly....
