15 The making of a Psycho

"But he didn't care about me father!" Daniella cried when her father clutched her arms, her father is dragging her inside the house.

"You didn't give our family a face, you have a six-year-old son, did you even care to just see him once in a day?" In anger and frustration, Daniella's father threw her on a couch.

"Let's not bring Albert in the conversation, he has nothing to do with all of this."

The servants are just listening, pretending that the living room is a none existent place. But in their minds, the woman didn't even realize that what she is doing is irresponsible. She goes out and party everywhere leaving her son to the servants. Because Cecil May is a stiff and uncaring businessman. He didn't even care that his wife already has an affair. He owns one of the largest shipping companies in Asia and they are at the top, he has no plans in going down, so rumors of his wife having an affair can wait.

Albert barely saw Daniella and she is going away again.

“Mommy where are you going?” Albert asks wide-eyed, something is going on and no one explains to him what is happening.

His mother went away despite his pleading and took quite some time before he saw his mother again. Then, every day her mother would be seen in bruises always crying. Albert didn't know why her mother always has bruises. He can't ask questions with his father, because all he can get from him are commands and the only answer he expects from him is yes. He can see her during meals but he can't find her inside the house for the entire day, no matter how hard he searched for her.

And then one day he saw her mother running away, his father is chasing her. They just ran past him and didn't even take a look at him. Concerned, he followed them secretly. His mother is on the streets barefooted.

“Mommy! Please don’t go away, I promised to be a good boy, I’ll drink my milk and eat vegetables. Look, my teacher said I’m good at school.” He shows her his achievements in school while chasing her. But she’s not listening. He followed them into a tall building, Daniella was able to successfully take the elevator, and Cecile has to wait. But Albert was not able to successfully get inside because he is a child.

“Please my Mommy went in.” He was begging with the building’s security, but the next second he didn’t have to worry about getting in, his Mommy was right in front of him, fell from the top of the building.

That scene repeatedly went live in his dreams, there are days that he can't totally sleep, it's not helping that he's father was getting crankier by day. Cecile just wanted him to study numbers, he is only six and why does he need to do that? He can see the pitiful look of the servants that he hated. Albert is so lonely that he planned his future. He wanted to run away when he is eighteen and legal but at the age of twelve he can't take it anymore, he left without looking back.

He hid in one of his father's ship, he didn't even know where it is bounded to, he just went in and wanted to get away from him as soon as possible.
