16 Señorita

RIVER ROSE was the first thing he saw when he went off the ship, it's a gray dilapidated building but the signage is eye-catching.

Albert has some money, he has been preparing to run away since he is eight years old. River Rose looked like a restaurant so he went in because his stomach is already making sounds. But when he gets in, no one is around. But it looked like a restaurant. He thought. On the far end, a corner table has fruits displayed on it, he looked around to see if someone tending this place, he planned to buy the fruits since he is really starving. It's been fifteen minutes but no signs of someone so he deliberately took one banana bunch and started eating.

In the middle of his munch, someone finally showed up, but before he can explain, the bald guy who just came in screamed.

"Thief!" Wide-eyed he ran towards the door but three huge men blocked his way. Albert though twelve didn't look his age, if you won't take a closer look his appearance is of an eighteen-year-old.

"I will pay for this." He said nervously, he is not prepared for this kind of situation, he never had a problem with food.

"It's not for sale." The men didn't intend to listen, they are ready for some action, and he can't explain that he is underage.

"Ahh!" Screamed by the ugliest of the three.

Albert was surprised by the scene. Someone has thrown stones at the huge men. He was afraid they will blame it on him, so he started to back out slowly while they're distracted, but one of them noticed him trying to escape.

"Catch him, it's him." The ugliest guy shouted.

"It wasn't me!" He shook his head while trying to run but, they had him.

"You're all stupid!" Someone shouted. Then he continued to shoot stones and pebbles.

Bailey went out holding a slingshot.

"Leave him alone, you ugly Morons!" shooting some more pebbles.

"You! come here you little rat, what business do you have in here?" They were chasing him around and around, that it already looks comical.

Albert twisted bit the guy's hand that is holding him. Then grab Bailey and started to run. But the big men easily catch them. To protect Bailey he covered him with his body. He was hit and blown several times when a crisp and serious voice shouted.

"Stop!"

They all search for the voice.

" Señorita Lucy!" All three men stop and saluted.

Turns out Lucy was the former heiress of the Port but her parents died at a very young age that the business went down and taken over by her greedy relatives, so she inherited nothing. But their former servants are all over the Port of Riverside.

"Leave these kids alone!" She shooed the men away, but Albert's mouth is already bleeding.

"Poor you, come let me help you." She bought them inside a wrecked boat. They thought he was going to throw them in the ocean. But the boat is actually her home. There are already two kids living in the boat. Ruby and Leo. Lucy knew that both boys are homeless even if she won't ask.

"Rubs, Lei, from now on they're your older brother."
