“Did everyone know that I can sue everyone for accusing my wife and disrespecting her?” His tone is so low that Lexie knows he can do different things when he’s angry. Like what happened to Chloe.

“Okay I would suggest for you to rest for the night and go home tomorrow, all of you are fired.” She said with conviction because this won’t end up in anything good if this will continue.

“You can’t do this to us. We had a contract and it is protected by the employee-employer regulation of this country.” Someone said that among the crowd but did not show his face.

“Well Mr. I know the law, you must also know that the moment you disrespect your employer, that contract is invalid and I can also sue you for insubordination!” He clenched his fist ready to punch all men in the room, but Lexie stopped him.

“Al let’s go let them go on their own. They’re too many anyways, having too many servers in a house with just the two of us is irrational.”

“Mrs. May we didn’t mean to disrespect you, can you forgive us just once, we didn’t know you’ll be married at a young age.” It’s an old lady that asked, she knew she would be using her old age as an excuse. She would like to, she’s not that hard-hearted person, but they’re too many and even if Albert can afford to pay them it’ll be like running a charity. “No, I don’t want to. I can’t be able to control myself if this happens again.” She sighed in relief. She didn’t have to decide even if she started it.

“Let’s go, I know you’re now starving.” She dragged her out of the house but Lily has run after her.

“Mrs. May, I am sorry it’s all my fault, I started it all, I didn’t know you’re legally married, please if there is someone that will be terminated it’s me.” Lily grabbed her hand, so she had to stop. While Albert gets in, to start the car. Just what is this girl trying to do?

“Yeah it’s all your fault, that’s why you're wind up.” She said while raising her brows.

“Please spare my mom and brother, it’s not their fault, my mother has been working here her entire life, she’ll be devastated.” Lexie thought, who told them to be disrespectful?

“It’s not my fault that all of you did not do research, and it’s not my decision but my husband, so good luck on your next endeavor.” She said leaving Lily in tears. She still followed Lexie.

“Mrs. May please..” She grabbed Lexie’s dress.

“Lexie, get in the car! It’s getting late.” Albert calling her name made her stomach flutter, heart confused she ran and sat on the passenger seat.

“That woman is really strange, why did she do something so stupid and I also don’t understand why others believed her?” Humans strange creatures she thought.

“She was trying to catch my attention.” He answered straightforwardly. It took some time to register in her brain, because of his excessive attention, she forgot how other people perceive Albert.

“That wench!” She blurted, she unconsciously got jealous and Albert had read what she meant. It's too late to take it back, so he just smiled widely.
