17 Don't mess with the Mistress of the house

Outside the mansion where they're going to live as a couple, Lexie witnessed the eviction of the former owner, she raised an eyebrow and stared at Albert's eyes narrowed, he pretended he didn't understand.

The house is huge and facing the largest river in the City, that's why it is expensive, the view is fantastic. She estimated that the property is possibly an acre wide. At first, she didn't have plans in redecorating the house because she didn't plan to stay, but after a week of confinement, boredom kicks in and she started to buy things online and replace the old furniture. And the whole house was repainted and plants were placed all over the house.

"Honey, don't you think there are too many plants in this area of the house?" He was about to tell her that mosquitos will swarm in here when he saw her stares are again piercing so he immediately stopped talking.

She then calls a professional landscapist to design the unused land into something useful but still beautiful.

"Then I would suggest you have a fruit tree forest." She liked the idea.

"I also want to have an artificial stream running through it." She expresses her thoughts about having vegetable patches too.

"That may be not allowed by the developer's agreement." A lady in her twenties appeared out of nowhere but is wearing a maid's uniform. The mansion is so huge that she barely knew the servants. There are possibly thirty or forty servants. She made a mental note to terminate some of them. She didn't mind that maid and continue with her plan.

"I insist madam, I've been a made in this house for ten years. This is an exclusive subdivision, landscaping is allowed but not for farming."

She did not listen, she didn't care about the effen regulations. She just wanted to release her stress. She's out of school for weeks, and she misses her friends and family. She raised an eyebrow to the maid who stubbornly stood to stop them. It's not her personality to confront a person so she didn't pay her any attention.

So the people she hired started to work on their project that same day, meanwhile she has called the butler to make an accounting on how much they are spending each month on employees. She then made another mental note to remove redundancy. Forty-five employees are too much.

In the kitchen she tried making seafood laxa with an online tutorial, she tasted it and it's a bomb. She liked it, she didn't know which part of the house Albert is in at the moment so she tried calling him on the phone, he didn't answer. She messaged him still no response. It's already almost eight in the evening and she's tired and hungry. She decided to look for him.

She has been looking all over the house and found him in the kitchen being served by that woman, with her own cooking. She didn't even notice that her mouth is forming an inverted U and she browse forming a straight line, eye fierce. Just what is that woman doing?

"Where have you been? I've been looking all over the house." She purposely pulled the chair loudly.

"I was in the library but Lily called me for dinner." That lily woman did not serve her. Is she being bullied by their own servant?

She didn't have to worry about serving because Albert serves her. He placed food on her bowl, she didn't mean to feel happy but she does uncontrollably.
