32 CHAPTER THIRTY TWO DISASTER IN THE MORNING OF THE WEDDING DAY

The following night when Tolu appeared on the set to continued with her interview on the MTC show, she still looked shaken from impacts of the horribleness of what happened the night she talked off.

The presenter started the interview saying, "We ended this show on an emotionally tensed state yesterday, even I that listened to what our guest experienced that night was badly shaken, how much shaken then would she be?

That was the reason we cut short the show yesterday, but iam glad that our celebrity is here today to continue, and I also know you people at home all over the globe are ready to continue with us, if you are ready let us patiently listen to the rest of the story from our sister"

After saying this he turned to Tolu and said, "What I felt yesterday for your pain was beyond what I could described in words, you certainly have experienced one of the worst nightmares a person could experienced on earth, how did you cope all this while bottling it inside?"

Tolu replied, "I cannot explain it myself, but I know fear play a major role in why I could not talk about it before yesterday and...."

The presenter cuts in and asked, "Do you mean the fear of been stigmatized?"

Tolu answered, "That is a minor part of the fear, the real fear is what I feared that Rugged could still do to me, because he told me when he released me the following that morning that his eyes would followed all my move, that if I ventured into anything that can tarnished his reputation he would bring me in to face firing squads like the Journalist that I saw.

With that I had to bottled it inside all this while and..." The presenter cut in and said, "It may just be an empty threat to keep you from telling the police, may be if you trust the police by now they would be behind bars"

Tolu answered and said, "Sir, it was not an empty threat, I could not tell you all that I saw there that night while I was telling the story yesterday, I only mentioned what happened to me, do you know you that I saw some high ranked police officers there that night?"

The show host replied in shock, "You don't mean it!" Tolu answered, "Believe what I'm telling you, that guy is has too strong an influence, so I thank God that I came out of the place alive, but I came out dead in the body and in my soul!

And you will think that was the beginning of my ordeal, but no it was the beginning!

After those men used my body the way they pleased, I was taken from their den and taken back to Richie's house"

"They took you back to the house? Definitely they were not afraid of been caught then" The presenter said, and Tolu said, "I told you that this guy behaved as if he is larger than life"

The presenter asked, "What now happened when they brought you back"

Tolu answered, "Actually when I was taken away that night Richie informed the police, and he informed my parent of what happened, everybody were in a state of shock over this event.

So Richie was not alone that morning when they brought me back, Ayo his friend was with him. So those devils kept me in their car and went inside to bring Richie out, but at that moment Ayo was in the toilet and they did not know.

They took Richie again at the gun point out to the street, while they were coming down Ayo called the police headquarters and informed them that they were around.

When they got out to the car, it was very early in the morning, an odd hour when the streets were still empty of people, they dragged me out of their car, and their leader said, " Mr lover boy, happy married life, take your wife"

I got up from the ground and tried to run to Richie, but that leader said, "Not so fast, our boss asked us to give you a wedding gift, so knee down and collect your wedding gift"

When I heard this, fear crawled all over me and I knew he was up to no good, I begged him not to give me any gift, but he said, "That would angered my boss who packaged this gift for you if I did not deliver it, so kneel down and collect your gift"

I did not want to kneel down for fear, but when one of them pointed a gun at my head I knelt down. Once I was on my knee, one of them brought out a plastic container...." At this stage, she became emotional like she did previous night, her cheeks became wet with tears, yet she continued with the story.

The presenter, though a man that had seen so much in life, yet he was moved to tears because her emotion was contagious!

With hushed tone he asked, "What did they give to you? Tolu answered and said, " It was a gift of destruction, they opened the plastic container and poured the content in it upon me, and it was raw acid!"

"My God!" the presenter shouted like he has forgotten that he was life on tv. "He poured acid on you?"

Tolu answered, "Yes! I scrambled up in hysteria and rushed towards Richie, they followed me and continued to pour the acid on me, Richie ran back as I moved towards him because he did not want the acid to touch him.

I shouted acid acid, when the acid in the plastic finished, the guy who was pouring the acid on me threw the plastic on me and said, " Happy married life!"

Then they entered into their car and zoomed off with unnatural speed! People in the environment who heard my cry rushed out of their homes into the street to see what was happening, at that time I could not see with my eyes again, I longed for a help from Richie but he refused to come closer to me, because he was afraid to touch me and get smeared with the acid on my body"

"What a scoundrel!" The presenter remarked, And it was because of him you were suffering that inhuman destruction, definitely he deserved more than been dumped on that wedding day!

Who now helped you?" Richie answered, "The people who rushed out too could not help me when they saw how the acid was burning my flesh, it was Ayo his friend who finally rushed out to help me"

"What a saint! No wonder you fall in love with him!"

Tolu continued, "He carried me and rushed to a tap and opened water upon me just to reduce the power of that acid, and he got smeared and injured in his hands and chest in that process with the acid.

Just as he was pouring water on me and the police came and asked for him, just then Richie came to his senses and explained what happened to the police men that Ayo called, he then told them the direction the people went.

The police chased after those men while Ayo in the company of Richie rushed me to the hospital"

At this point in the story, the host suddenly acted as if he remembered something and he said, "My God, I think I remembered this story, oh you were that girl that the all the media houses in the country ran her story some few years ago, but we heard that you died after this incident, how come you were here now?"

At this stage tears flows freely from her eyes, but she still managed to answer, "I did not die, but I cannot talk about how I survived today, she bursts into real heart rendering tears, that caused people all over the globe was ching her to weep with her!

The presenter have no choice again than to cut the show short, and the TV house began to play some soulful musics
