9 Harry wants to break into a Bank

"But Madam Bones, we have a solid lead on Harry Potter. The witness confessed to seeing Harry Potter. How could we abandon the entire investigation now?", Tonks yelled at her boss.

"Leave it, Auror Tonks, the investigation is scrapped." DMLE head Auror Bones answered, ignoring her yelling this once.

"These are orders from the higher-ups, Junior Auror Tonks. Because Harry Potter's name came out of the Goblet but he failed to be present for the Triwizard Tournament, he should have lost his magic. There is no need to waste Ministry's resources on looking for a squib." Auror Dawlish answered from the side.

'Minister's Toad's Dogs', Nymphadora Tonks cursed in her mind. Even Madam Bones frowned a little at Dawlish's statement.

"But he petrified an entire group of muggle thugs, how could...", Tonks tried to prove her point, only to once again cut off once again, this time by Scimguor.

"We are not even sure it was Harry Potter, no need to trust a muggle. Moreover, it could easily have been an artifact he used, even if it was Harry Potter.", He drawled.

"But Madam..." Tonks turned to Head Auror.

"The decision is final. The End", Madam Bones said with a tone of finality.

Tonks pretended to relent and left the office.

'Hmm, as if', Tonks yelled in her mind, fully intending to head to the Minister's office and give him a piece of her mind. Perhaps even lobotomizing that pink toad. But she held herself.

She knew why suddenly why all the investigation was pulled back, of it was clear. Harry Potter was no longer a wizard and hence no longer their concern. No one cared he was just a child, no one cared he was one of their beloved Boy-Who-Lived, the vanquisher of the worst dark lord in living history.

No one cared, for he was just some squib. But she did. And she was not going to give up till she found him and ensured he was safe.

Soon she was out of the Ministry and disappeared with a small crackle.

Appearing in the Scotland yard, in a special room made specifically for operations, she took out her wand and check for any tracking charms. Paranoid, yes but anyone who apprenticed under Moody would learn a thing or hundred about being paranoid.

Exiting the room, she made her way towards the interrogation chambers, the place where Kent Smith and his friends were kept. But halfway through, commissioner White intercepted and took her to a side room.

Soon they reached an office just adjacent to the holding cells. White opened the door, motioning Tonks to enter.

There, sitting behind the computer was a black-haired woman in a grey pantsuit. White introduced her,

"This is Elizabeth Braddock, and she would be on this case from now."

Miss Braddock just nodded to Tonks, before turning to White, "Any new leads?"

She turned back to Tonks, "I know your target is just Harry Potter, but this entire case got a lot more complicated. You see, the other two persons missing, Emma Frost and Kyle Naori, both just got elevated to high priority targets."

White continued from there, "Interrogation of Kent Smith and his men had revealed that Emma is a high-level telepath. Her not being accounted for is dangerous."

"And Kyle Naori, is he dangerous?", Tonks asked.

"Not dangerous per see, but he is on the shit list of a lot of dangerous people.", White said, and before Tonks could ask to elaborate, "Don't ask anymore, the rest of the details are classified."

Tonks did not ask, she cared more for Harry, and his safety, "So why I am here?"

Elizabeth looked at White, who nodded. Then she turned towards Tonks and began, "Interrogation of Kent Smith and his men had revealed some more information. You see, they were looking for a ghost group investing a ludicrous amount of money in the middle east and Africa. They were looking for months and somehow they got a lead when Potter Family invested 800 million dollars a month back."

Her eyes widened. That means...

"As Harry Potter has been missing for half a year, it is clear that the investment is illegally made by someone else in Potter's name.", Elizabeth said, before opening a few images on the computer showing a clean apartment.

"You see, this is the place Smith and his group were staying. Don't be fooled by its clean appearance, it just got robbed, and every document, note Smith and his group ever made in their investigation is gone."

"And we believe that it was Harry who did it...", White interjected.

"Stop going in circles and just get to the point," Tonks said, frustrated.

White and Elizabeth looked at each other before White finally said, 'We believe Harry will go to Gringotts."

"And why you believe than?"

"Because all the documents that got stolen were on Potter accounts. If not that, Emma and Harry Potter are most likely together. One way or other, she should have told him about what is happening to his accounts."

Tonks thought for a moment, "Harry is not greedy by any means. I don't believe even this much money will move him", When she met Harry last year, he was despondent, broken, and cared for nothing in the world beyond magic. If they both were not methmorphmagus, Tonks doubted she and Harry would have gotten close.

"Will he intervene if he knew what his money was being used for?", Elizabeth said, sliding a document on what the investment was on.

Tonks read through it, her hair cycling through many colors.

"Yes, he will." She answered without hesitation.

"A What?!"

Emma shouted in disbelief, "You mean that there is a whole world hidden from us filled with magicals?!"

"Wizards, wand wavers, to be more specific. Although I highly doubt wizards are the only type of magic users.", Harry said absentmindedly, thinking of the psychedelic trip on cosmic awareness. Of all the knowledge on magic, he gained that day, a very small portion of it was related to wand magic.

"And would want to play Heist on the most secure Wizard Bank, which is guarded by an entire nation of goblins, who, by your own admission are highly efficient and brutal, even rumored to keep humans as slaves?"

"Yes"

Emma looked she wanted to pull her hair at his nonchalant attitude, and Kyle was still having difficulty wrapping his head around the concept of an entire wizard world.

"Wow, that is nuts. A whole I lived around mutants all my life but even this is a little too much to believe, even for me.", Kyle remarked.

Harry furrowed his brows in confusion at the comment but did not say anything. Emma, on the other hand, was too caught up in emotions to catch it.

"But why would you do something so extreme out of the blue. We can just wait and see..."

"No time, every minute we lose, the more harm is done", Harry stated, not budging an inch.

"But you yourself said it was probably the most secure location in the entire world. How the heck are we going to just plop there and get what you want?"

"Well, I plan to do just that", Harry said without a single inflection in his voice.

Emma, frustrated, looked at the teen in front of her calmly petting the white owl and held back from spewing a torrent of curses. She had seen just a glimpse of his power firsthand and she had no desire to go anywhere near a bank that held off people of his power for centuries.

But she had no other choice. She had to save her brother.

"If it puts you to ease, I promise your safety. I am quite confident to be able to teleport us out through the wards. If things go south, we can get out at a moment's notice."

Emma bit her lips, thinking it through.

Harry did not force her, it would be better if she agreed to help but he would do this regardless of her choice.

"Fine! Fine, I will help you."

Harry bowed his head in thanks.

"But don't expect it for free. I want two things in return", Emma said.

"I want five..no ten million dollars if you could reclaim your money."

"Will transaction in gold do?"

"Yes"

"And the other condition?", Harry asked.

"After I do my part, I want your help to rescue my elder brother. Without fail."
