14 Chapter 014: A Day In The Student Council

Shirai-Kun was sitting in one of the chairs after being dragged down to the student council room by the Vice President, Hino Nikko.

"So…Can I leave?"

"No. Do your duties first."

"Can't I do them tomorrow?"

"You've been saying that for the past week! You have to finish them today."

"Booo, no fun."

She shot a glare at him which led to him getting right to work. He began to fly through his work trying to get a week's worth of work done.

'I need to do this as fast as possible, I don't want to think about how long it would take if I did this at a normal pace. Sorry Higura-San! Seems I'm going to be late!'

His phone began to ring and was beginning to reach out to grab it but Hino-San took it and turned it off.

"You have to finish your work first. After you're done I'll let you see who that was."

"…Fine…" 'It was probably Higura-San…'

Shirai-Kun began to work even faster, trying to get all the work done so Sato-San didn't have to wait any longer. After working for an hour straight he managed to finish everything.

"I'm done, can I leave now?"

"Yeah, you can have your phone back also. You got through that much faster than I thought you would, I'm surprised."

"Haha, well I don't want to keep my friend waiting any longer so I'll be goi-"

He was starting to walk away but walked into someone. It was Kawaguchi Goro, he is the principal's son and the treasurer for the student council.

"Oh, hey Shirai-Kun. You leaving?"

"Yeah, I had to plans to meet up with a friend but Hino-San made me do all my work. It took an hour, I hope he's still there…"

"Couldn't you have just said you'd be late on your phone?"

"No, she took my phone away…."

"I guess I won't ask then."

"Hm? It depends on what your asking."

"I needed some help with my work, but you seem to be in a hurry so I'll just leave you be."

"Haaah, how long's the work?"

"Ummm, it shouldn't take longer than 10 minutes with both of us working."

"…Fine, this will at least delay my future work. I'll just quickly tell Higura-San that I'm going to be a little later-"

"I forgot you're friends with that guy, how's that even happen?"

"Hm? What do you mean?"

"Well, isn't he like some kind of giant douche or something?"

"Ah right." 'They don't know that he's faking that part of him! I completely forgot!' "W-Well I guess it's just that we've been friends since grade school so it just kind of works out with us."

"Hm. Okay then, I guess that kind of makes sense. It's you're life, I don't want to meddle in it."

"Thanks, let's get this work done then."

They began to work on the work that was a little difficult but Shirai-Kun was able to manage quite easily. He sped through it just like all his previous work and it only took him about 5 minutes.

"I'm done so I'll be going now. See ya."

He walked out the door and once again ran into someone again. This time it was Nakamura Makoto, she was the secretary to the student council and happened to look a lot like a guy. Almost any new person who sees her thinks she's a guy which used to upset her but now has gotten rather used to it.

"Oh, hey M-Makoto-San."

"Hello Shirai-Kun. Sorry for running into you."

"No no, it's fine. Don't think anything of it."

"I'll be going now."

She slid into the door and disappeared into the student council room. Shirai-Kun continued on his way to meet up with Sato-San who was now waiting in the library.

'That day was a little more hectic than normal, but at least I can put my work off again for hopefully a week. Why did I even enter the student council president election? I'm really starting to regret my choice.'

He sighed while continuing to walk, finishing his day with the student council.
