1 001 ( The Guy Outside )

After the meeting was ended, The group club decided to have fun since we were drowning in the piles of our work.

"Lui Qhian, don't tell us you can't join us again? You turned us down many times!" Yu Wei asked, He's the Vice President of our club. I shook my head at him "I can't turn you guys down this time since it will be only once in a while for me to take a break." They all cheered at what I said.

While laughing on the street, Our club president decided to announce something, "Since Lui Qhian joined us! It'll be my treat!" We all cheered and shouted from the announcement. We arrived at the place and sitted on the table.

"Okay guys please don't be shy now, choose anything you want!" Some nodded and cheered.

Minutes passed and we all decide to go home but before that we all thanked our clb president for treating us. It's midnight when I arrived at the apartment. I lived alone in the apartment since I've decided that I needed to be independent and work for myself though my parents sometimes give me allowance which I told them that I don't need it.

But I was stopped when I noticed a guy who look like was going out. He seems familiar. His body built, his hands and the scent. I remembered it all, but maybe it was just merely a coincidence.

I akwardly walked straight and when he stopped at front of me, I also stop at my tracks. We are now staring at each others' faces. I recognized the face at front of me, still not believing what I saw. We just stood there. Akwardness is rising but he keeps his composure and cool, the stares were cold as the night it gave me chills.

He looked away and walked past me like nothing happened, and yet here frozen on my spot. I tried to look back but my mind says 'no' so I calm myself and go to my apartment whose beside is my old childhood bestfriend

Let me now tell you the story of ours.

Once there was a girl who were lost in the streets, yes heard that right, then a boy came to my rescue and asked me if I was lost or not. These memories I treasured are still vivid, clear and fresh in my mind.

He helped me to get to my house and find my parent with both worried faces, they thanked him and so did I because if not for him, I was good as lost. Mom decided to come with him and thanked also his mom and invited them for dinner.

Dinner came and while our parent's were talking both him and I were in the backyard playing, we also promised together that we will stay close no matter what and be bestfriends. Then our friendship started.

Weeks and Months passed us we grew closer, we grew up till the start of high school but we were parted since that day. Mom and Dad got a new place for us and close to a school. I disagreed with them but I can't do a thing since it's their call not mine.

Bidding him goodbye was the hardest and letting go of him was the worst. He then said to me 'We're still gonna be bestfriends An-An! Don't worry.' I cried at what he said and hugged him. Losing someone this close to you is melancholic.

His parents and him bid us goodbye at our house and after we got in the car. I turned around and wave him the last goodbye.

But now seeing him here healthy and well-looking makes me relieved that he's doing well and good. My mind still ache for the question 'why is he here?' and 'why did he ignore me?' I just scoffed it off, surely tomorrow he will greet me!

Morning came and I'm now preparing for school and breakfast. I'm now a 4th year student in high school. I packed my lunch and everything that I need, hopefully while walking no dogs are gonna run around barking.

I came out the apartment and locked the door, looking at the side was also my childhood friend going for school too. We also both have the same uniform!

I was about to approach him but he ignored me and left. Left speechless at his action I averted my mind to think something else. Walking to school is great for because you could enjoy the slim of your time feeling the breeze of the cold wind.

I reached our campus and decided to gi to my classroom. Putting down my bag and get my phone, not minding everyone in the room I decided to go out and head to the nearest vending machine.

Melon Milk is the best in the morning! It gives me energy that I needed throughout the boring subjects I'm gonna face. While I was about to head back in the classroom I saw a figure running towards me and I think I heard something like 'heyyy--' and the rest were inaudible.

I was confused and the same time shock at the person who hugged me from behind. "Hey Lui Qhian! How'd you do?" My Bestfriend Wu Xhin asked. I laughed "I'm fine how're you too?" She squealed beside which made me give her a confuse look.

She frowned at my reaction, "You're always late in the news! Didn't you know there will be a transferee here in our school?" I shake my head at the latter. We continue to walk back to our classroom while talking about the subjects we're gonna have and the professors.

When we head back our professor came in and announced, "We're gonna have a new student so welcome him with open arms! You may now come in." She said to us then motioned the transferee to come in.

I didn't need to look who is it, because I just met that transferee in the morning and just ignored me. I looked away at the window and as the professor said where is he gonna sit made me not to move an inch. I freaking forgot that the seat beside me was empty!

Trying to forget the guy beside me my mind decided to listen to the lessons.

Lunch came, me and Wu Xhin has gone to the cafeteria while we bring ourselves to an empty table then start eating. Someone approached us but we didn't bother to look who it is.

"Oh acting like I'm not here huh?" A familiar voice said, we ignore her non-sense and continue eating. "Let's find another table where no ghost will go beside us."Wu Xhin nodded at my retort.

"Ugh! How dare you turn your back!" She screamed, we just shake our heads and continued walking away from that girl. The girl I'm talking about is Shu An 'the popular' as she said.

We eat at the rooftop where everything is peaceful and no 'Shu An' to bother us. Luckily she's not that violent or else we're already in the office. Eating peacefully when we heard the bell.

"Oh c'mon!" Wu Xhin exclaimed and I laughed, we pack our lunches again and decided to go back before we get a detention slip which we all don't want. "Let's go to the cafe later on." I said and then she cheered like a kid who's about to be enter an arcade.

Class ended. We're all ready to go home when in the last minute our professor said we have an assignment to do! Xhi ('Wu Xhin') approaches me. "Hey we're still going right?" I nodded, "But I have to visit the Art Club before going, wait for me in the cafe okay?" She waved goodbye and I did the same.
