Stubborn Young Miss

ELENOR

"Are you paying attention? I said I don't like the ring!" I roared my voice making sure to draw the attention I need even from people outside the jewelry store. Despite the freezing temperature of the store my head's ablaze. I made myself clear young and bold, unfazed of the stares and murmurs that flanked me; stood with my head held nearly as high as my stilettos, "Young Miss, I'm only following your father's order" he said, a broad, tall man pleaded me. I always knew I was taller than average for a woman, but with him beside me, I feel small and petite.

The almost muttering gossip and small sneaky glances that others had been giving me, almost like a tin water drop in a hot pan that instantly vanished when a heavenly, yet deep voice gently spoke to no other than me; the me who's taking not only everyone's attention but also peoples' time.

Making obvious on my expression that not even the slightest I am pleased with what my so-called father instructed this gentleman. I drag my gaze on his making sure that it would pierce thoroughly in him, before I let out a big sigh "Believe it or not I understand you're only doing your job but try to understand me too."

He only stare into my eyes without a little convince look on his face, this time I am sure little puzzled on how I can make him budge and do as I please. "You know people at the academy, they'll go out of their way to find things and gossip about me, if I go to there with that on me who knows what shit I'll hear" I reason out, placing both my palms on my hips and arch a brow. Do you get my point now?

People were back on track with little whispers and sneaky, almost intimidating gaze after my almost unbelievable reasoning. Of course, these commoners wouldn't know what I mean after all I am different from them, I am the daughter of the Eaves Family. Unfortunately, for them their jealousy only added fuel to the fire of my burning desire. I have my head in the clouds and didn't even bother to look down, my statement alone is not enough for him that I have to smile forcefully, still giving him the looks, hoping that the young gentleman would finally see my point yet he insisted on following through with my daddy's demand.

"Your father already paid for it, and it cost much more than you--" I had to stop his bumbling lies, I know my father has yet to pay for it, I held up a finger indicating to shush.

"Sebastian, perhaps you're worried about the money my great and lovely father will lose" arms crossed over my chest after flipping at my back, my caramel-colored hair "there's nothing to be worried about, I don't mind regardless of what it's value, as long as I reject it, it will not matter."

Sebastian is a perfect employee everyone wishes they could pine for; he fears me dearly and hardly ever talks back to his owner, at the very least not rudely; he is well-mannered. He's constantly submissive to authority. But there are times when he may be stupid. His tone was still calm and deep. "It's not like you planted the money," he grumbled as he lowered his head. Unfortunately for this gentleman, his grumble was heard by everyone. Including me.

"I don't plant the money. It grows for me, so --"

"No, it doesn't."

It seems that my lovely companion chooses to meet with God a little early than he had plan. He committed crime in fact two at it. Not letting me finish my words is a crime, but opposing with my idea is also a crime. He was well aware, but he still dared to do it. Sebastian seems to be quite forgetful these days. I hope he'd stop forgetting I am the daughter of the man he works for.

I could only grimace after his strong disagreement with me. The words coming from his almost flawless and kissable lips, and rather bold, cause all the blood to rush to my forehead.

This is not a first time for people to have their own fun with the show that I had to put on for them; fu*ck, we wind up capturing the crowd's attention without even realizing it. Again.

Since I came from a well-known and respectable family that can certainly provide a decent school, people never humiliated me before, who would have thought my bodyguard like slash babysitter had guts to shame me in front of people.

For a single ring all of this turn in to chaos, would it be that hard to let me have what I want?

Wild and bad thoughts were racing through my head, I balled my fist ready to throw hand at Sebastian's gorgeous face including these gossipy people, screaming at the top of my lungs until everyone had enough and leave this very place, would be ideal to do but if I were to do that, it would only make me look idiotic.

Containing my anger is hard enough my raging eyes travel through his thick skull, it was almost reflecting to his damn face all the bad thing I want to do to him "forgive me for what I said maybe we should consider it a lesson"

A lesson?! a lesson for what exactly? I have to deeply apologize for my father's reputation after I lay my fist on him, I pinched the bridge of my nose while the other hand still in my waist rested. He did not wait for me to respond to his remarks. Sebastian, immediately turn his back making his way to the counter where the ring waited patiently for the drama to be over. I am convinced by his remark that he was dissing me, behaving as if he were some big shots "Your just my father's employee..."

I could no longer take his behavior there were time he seems like an angel but then becomes such a tease almost as if there's two people inside of him. I clench my teeth, catching my breath, digging my gaze as it burns through the back of his head "... remember that." perhaps the humiliation was too severe that my voice was shaking a bit.
