6 Spies and Engineers

Third Person POV

"Okay so what do we have about the guy?" Nick ask facing four more people in the room. Romanof, Coulson, Barton and Hill.

Hill tap something on her table and a transparent Cylinder glass rose from the ground while the light dimmed.

A picture of Alex appeared in the Glass. "Alexander Black, 25 years Old, British American, Orphan, Masters degree in Culinary of Arts, Travels a lot in the world with only one noticable long term stay of 3 years in Japan with No apparent Relatives." Hill stated.

"Is that it? Looks pretty normal to me" Barton said.

The others frown and Nick ask "anything else?"

Hill nodded "apparently the man was pretty famous himself; called Mr. Black the demon chef, supposed to be the greatest cook of all time before vanishing in the face of the Earth for a few years."

Coulson and Natasha simultaneously nodded. "So what? he's just a chef, why are we even researching this guy up" Barton.

Natasha glared at her friend and said "That Karaage you stole from me, He's the one that made it"

"Eh! Really! What's the address?" Barton was utterly shock.

"Yeah really! And you fucking stole it from me, you didn't even left a single bit!" Natasha rage.

"We are not talking about food here!" Nick Fury angrily slam his table that made everyone in the room quiet. "I WANT TO KNOW WHY A MAN WITH THAT KIND OF NORMAL PROFILE HAS A FUCKING BUILDING THAT CAN WITHSTAND A MOTHERFUKING NUCLEAR BLAST!"

The room quieted for a short while before Fury calmly ask "are there anything else?"

"Yes sir, in addition to what you just said; not only is the building reinforced but it also has something that prevents our surveillance from taking a glimpse of the interior of the house." Hill added.

Fury's frown deepens even more and it was Coulson's turn to ask "what seems to be the cause of it?"

"We still don't know" Hill stated "also this footage was recovered from yesterday"

It shows Alex previous fight against the 4 guys.

"He's well trained and seems to have great reflexes to prevent a bullet from hitting him, he would do well as an Agent" Romanof said. "And a personal chef...." she silently added.

Fury sighed and pinch the bridge of his nose. "It still doesn't answer the glaring questions..." he said before ordering "Barton, I want you to spy on that guy 24/7 tell us if he do something suspicious"

"Alright! Can I also have an allowance?" Barton.

Nick Fury sighed and reply "Granted but there better be info on that guy or else, I'll send your ass back to work with Sitwell"

Barton happily nodded while Natasha could do nothing but glare at him.

"Alright, so Coulson what's the status on Pegasus?"

Alex's POV

After a long rest from yesterday's surprises, Cortana decided to introduce me to the five Engineers and that's why, we are currently here in the basement that suddenly grew into a size of two football field.

I decided not to open the restaurant today because I want to finalize my schedule in light to God's task and Cortana's arrival.

"This place becomes a separate dimension from the top floors, I requested this from God when He ask me if I needed anything" Cortana explained.

I just nodded and did not argue because I'm pretty sure it'll just bring me more headache.

"They are the Engineers, I brought with me" Cortana said while pointing out to 5 floating Tortoises.

If I remember correctly, in Halo-verse this guys are a bunch of sentient supercomputers that enjoys building and repairing stuff.

"Alright, so you can easily recognize them by the first letter of their serial code in their shell. Ainz, Bran, Claire, Diana and Eliza although the names may not soumd creative but I can assure you this guys could literally build you anything if you just have the necessary blueprints, also do treat them with care because they're also sentient and would like to be treated as such." Cortana explained.

I nodded and approach the Engineers "Well, It's nice to meet you all and I'll be in your care."

The Tortoises look at each other before reaching out to me for a hug. I smiled in response and pet each one of Tortoises head.

"They like you" Cortana said with a smile.

After introducing the Engineers to me, Cortana and me are now in the 2nd floor eating lunch while discussing a few things.

"So God task you to help a few people from the Omniverse?" Cortana ask.

I shook my head and corrected "No, just give some advice I think..."

Cortana look sceptic and said "but there's still a possibility of you providing help not just some simple word of advice or else God wouldn't make you as strong as you are now."

"You have a point...I guess I'll just wing it if the time comes..." I answered.

Cortana nodded before asking "say....God told me about this metal that I'm quite curious about; Vibranium was it? Is it true that they can absorb Kinetic Energy and sound waves?"

"Yes, they do...but there's also one in the Antarctic that emits vibrations that looseb the molecular bonds of other metals, it's called artic vibranium or Anti-Metal for short." I answered.

Cortana put a hand to her chin and thought "if that so then it would be very useful if we have those kinds of metals to create a ship or I guess a source of new power source.

I thought for a bit and then remembered the Age of Ultron event...Klaue "I might have a few Ideas where we could get one"

Cortana turned to me with eyes shining and everything "Really!?"

I nodded "Yes, really"

"That's Great!" Cortana said in glee.

"Alright then let's head back to the basement so we could get it" I said and led the way back.
