9 Chapter 9 A Simple Try-To-Escape

Hailey's POV

I sat down on the bed after he left the room. I was in deep thoughts about what should I do, and how.

Will Alex be okay?

I want to ask him. He swiftly took me off the topic. But, I'm just... uh... kind of afraid of him. Of course, I will be! He literally kidnapped me and has made me a maid!

Just that I don't have to do any house chores, lol

That's not the time for cracking jokes, stupid! Just think of some ways to escape or at least talk to your family!

Then I remembered my phone. I started searching here and there, in my purse too but there was no phone.

Of course, he has taken it, dumbo.

"Yes?"

"Wh-y did you... uh... do that..." I said.

"Do what, Corazon?"

"uh... I mean I was ready to m-marry you, I-I mean… Why did you lie?"

"Ah. That's the fun, babes. You wouldn't be so much into your marriage if you knew it was me" he said. "The groom changed at the last moment, didn't it?" he said and chuckled.

I didn't reply. I wanted to ask so many questions. But I can't. He has some mental health issues; he can change any second.

"Now. Come with me" he said. I looked at him in fear. Did I do something wrong?

"uh... S-sir"

"NOW" he yelled. I didn't know what the hell was going on!
