All the heat drained out of Hazel's body despite the mug of coffee still warming her hands. There was no way…what were the odds of someone inexperienced driving off a cliff at the exact time Will went missing yesterday?

No one around here would ever drive their cars this far up the mountain. That's what snowmobiles were for. Visitors weren't very common for this part of the mountain either since there was nothing here but residential properties.

The ski lodges and other snow playgrounds were pretty far away. It was practically impossible to be looking for one of them and end up here instead. Most of these dirt roads weren't even available on GPS.

But how could an accident like that possibly be staged? It might be whoever was visiting yesterday but that didn't mean Will was directly involved. Marissa said it seemed like a normal accident…

"How do you know all of this?" she asked faintly.
